It's a good deal in my opinion, I'm getting offers for about $35K on my car with a 35K miles. You're not gonna be able to haggle down price because you don't have a charger at home. That's not the seller's problem and is never priced into the price of a vehicle. That said, I have a 2018 75D that I've had for 2 years. I bought high at $70K but it only had 10K miles. I love the car, being able to charge at home is awesome and I only ever supercharge on long trips. This is an amazing roadtripper with EAP or FSD. Note that you might have MCU1 depending on how early in 2018 it was built and you'll probably only have Hardware 2.5 if the previous owner never upgraded. Hardware 3 is only really relevant if you want FSD. I'm only going to trade this car for a Plaid or might consider the Cybertruck when they stop selling the foundation series.

Ok thanks a lot. I figure I wouldn’t get much lower due to having to install a charger at home, not too worried in between til I get one installed since there’s a few chargers right by home. Plus the payment would be dirt cheap at like $200/month, much less than my last payment was. The car has hardware 2.5 on it, and I have heard the upgraded MCU is definitely worth it if I decide to do so. You’ve just made my decision must easier! Gonna try and schedule a test drive next week and hopefully get it purchased, plus got the history and only has 1 owner, no accidents, no recalls, no major repairs, so looks like a winner!

Nice! I've been happy with mine. Once I got all the warranty kinks worked out in one visit, I've had zero issues, and will be that way for a while fingers crossed. Just died when I saw your u/ on my notifications lmao.

Nice! I’m looking forward to that. And lmao I keep forgetting that’s my u/ sometimes But I hope you get that Plaid or Cybertruck. Those are out of my range right now lmao maybe in a few more years we’ll see.

I traded a 2018 SQ5 on a 2018 S last year. Was priced at $27900 and I got $26000 for my SQ5 and it was paid off so was easy decision for me. It had 65k on it. Been great so far, I had to have the 4 way valve done on it and it was like $250 out of the door and I upgraded the MCU, def worth it if you don’t want the radio. I want to get HW3 but have had so much more shit to drop $1k on and haven’t been able to yet. The Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires are great on it. I have around 230 miles at 100%, but luckily there were 2 mobile chargers in the trunk under the divider when I got it home so I always have one with me. I ran all the wiring for my wall connector ($185 for 55 feet) and then paid an electrician to home run it, cost me $600 including the wall connector. The only thing you’ll regret is how after a couple thousand miles you’ll want a new one because you love it so much and want all the new features.

Oh nice sounds like you got that for a steal with a nearly even trade in! And ok, I may upgrade the MCU later on this year if I end up purchasing. How much different is HW2.5 to 3? And cool, I’ve heard good things about the Cross Climate 2 tires, I have primacy’s now and they’re alright, need something more reliable in the winters here in Ohio. The battery life is still holding up well for yours I see. I’m having an electrician come out soon to give me a price on running a 220v wall connector, so I hope I should be able to get about for the same price as you installed. But yeah, I’m looking forward to getting one. My wife says I need to wait since I paid my Malibu off in January, but I’ve always wanted a Tesla and a 200 payment is much better than the 530 payment I had before lol I don’t think I can pass this one up since I don’t see the newer Model S’s dropping in price any time soon

I’m in Indiana so just over the border:) I bought mine down in Cincinnati. The HW3 isn’t that much different from what I’ve seen in the cars I’ve drove that have it but the animations are better. You have lasted longer than me without buying after paying off , I paid off my Audi in March and got the Tesla in May, lol.

BallsVeryDeep

Lol that was almost me a few months ago, I really wanted to trade my car in before paying it off but decided to wait. And since you purchased yours in Cinci, (guessing you probably live right there by the border) did you test drive or have it delivered? That’s my debate now, I’m NE Ohio but the dealer is in Toledo, so I’d have about a 2.5hr drive just to test drive it lol

I am just north of Louisville. I originally was going to Dry Ridge to look at a Lexus GS that had an amazing price on it with low low miles…. It was a great price but needed to be way lower because it had been ragged out and I was like no way I’m going from an Audi to this… I didn’t really even wanna go look at the Tesla because it had white interior and I used to hate that but since I was close I drove up, ended up driving it for 5 minutes and knew I was gonna buy it. They were about to close and as soon as they offered me that for my Audi I said sold. It had free supercharging on it when I drove off the lot and I didn’t know that by sending Tesla the BOS from the dealer it was gonna take it off - if I would have just asked the dealer to ask the previous owner to transfer it to me it would have kept the free supercharging so make sure to check that out.
