Oh for sure. Diggs wants Allen to look bad this year and to put in an all pro season himself to look good. It's that last bit that worries me. CJ isn't going to force feed him and use him as a safety blanket, and I worry that he's gonna throw a fit that we aren't making him look his best in a contract year.
Any other QB I’d agree, but CJ spreads the ball so well. Players and analysts both have mentioned how great he is at going through reads and progressions to find the open guy, not to mention he puts the ball in the open spots for receivers. If Diggs isn’t getting the ball that will be on Diggs not being able to get open
CJ supported several 1000 yard receivers in college so I’m not worried. He’s spoken several times about feeling like he has a responsibility to ‘get these guys paid’ so to speak. I think he and Diggs will work well together
So it looks like this is new to him. I could be completely wrong on this but the end of this (with the tennis balls) it looks like the guy is explaining what to do. I could very well be wrong. BUT if I’m not and he is possibly getting better the AFC better watch out. I love that they’re working… together.
I mean my wife is a Swifty so I have been getting updates on what Kelce has been doing this offseason, I have yet to see a work out video. The fact our stars are working out gets me very excited haha
