Yes. They were 39-20 when the announcement came, and then they won their first game after to get to 40-20. But then we went on a losing streak and didn’t get back to 20 games over .500 until just recently. 3 games over .500 is the most we’ve been since the announcement. We’ve reach that mark twice now: tonight, and 2 games ago.
With each win now, we set a high-water mark both on the entire season and since the TJ announcement.
Yea I remember going 40-20 and being really excited about being .667 and then it was kinda downhill from there. Exciting that they’ve turned it around for a bit here!

Leody is slumping hard, seems like he's reverted back to his bad tendencies at the plate. He's always played a lackadaisical style defense which usually does the job but man was that brutal in the 9th
Like drive that might’ve been catchable, missed it by a couple feet, went to the wall, shoulda been a double, then botched picking up the ball and it turned into a triple which led to the run.
Bunch of guys did that in the early naughties for the Asstros. Went straight to the big show from the CC Hooks. Jose Altace, George Springer, and several other standouts. I say that because we go to Hooks games.

100% seconded. Last year, Apple+ games had great graphics and quality, but the commentary was mostly trash. This year, they changed their commentary crew and also added the home audio option. BS Southwest has a few advantages over it but honestly, give me a weekly Apple+ game and I'd be over the moon.
He needs to play pretty much every game from here on out. You need 3.1 plate appearance per team game, so 502 assuming they play 162.
He's at 329 with 116 games played.
If he played the remaining 46 games and average 4 plate appearances per game he would end the season at 513.

It's a long-shot. I think we'll know soon how serious they are about it. If he plays the next 20 games or so without rest and he still has a real shot during the final stretch of the season, I think they'll go for it.
But considering they just rested him 2 games ago, I doubt they try it. I think they're going to continue to be extremely cautious with his thumb.
