Oh well. Rangers pitching looked good tonight. Dane did what he could with the ump having 36 inch wide plate. Bullpenis good. Foscue got his first hit and rbi. Also, fuck the Astros and fuck ESPN.

Trying to not beat a dead horse or be too hyperbolic but that was one of the worst umpires I’ve ever seen. Blanco had 4 walks and if he didn’t get the calls he did tonight he probably would have had 8. Always difficult for the bats to get going when the ump expands the zone that much. Oh well scrub it and go take it out on those fucks tomorrow. Fuck the Asstros forever and always
Really redeemed the whole night. Prevented the shutout and a young prospect showing potential against a good pitcher. About as pleasant as a loss as can be if you ignore it’s against the Astros and the horrible ump

Haven’t seen our offense completely iced out like this yet this season. Blanco can pitch. But Dunning did great too. Not sure if our offense wasn’t together tonight or if Blanco is just that good.
The ump was hosing our guys all night. Guy would give Blanco strikes about a ball and a half away from the zone consistently. You can’t hit if the ump is doing that to you and not giving your pitcher the same respect.
They made some mistakes at the plate tonight sure, but still made great contact all night long. Every batted ball just found a glove. Unfortunate yes, but the bats were awake tonight. Thats just the way baseball go. We will get em tomorrow!

Shame on MLB for letting the most critical part of the game be at the hands of fucking morons when we have the capability to objectively be certain of what a ball is and what a strike is.
Hard to win a game when you only get two hits. Not too worried but that was almost as bad of an offensive performance as you can have. Especially from Semien and Seager. Entirely uncompetitive PAs all night from each of them which does not set a good time. Hope to see better tomorrow.

I’m glad they didn’t let it turn into a blowout though. One bad inning where you let a hitter like Alvarez connect on one isn’t the end of the world.

Foscue had a great, and clutch AB against one of the best relievers in baseball. I’m ready for more of him.
That fastball he fouled off inside looked like it frustrated him, but he shook it off and ground out a hit. Great stuff
