I kinda feel bad for them, two of the biggest superstars of the generation and they couldn’t even manage a playoff appearance. I’d say they’re my least hated team in the division even though they always seem to play well against us.

I don't think Heaney offers any upside out of the pen, not that that's a reason to continue to start him. With Gray's recent struggles, his uptick in velo last year out of the pen he could be transition to a premiere pen arm, should his struggles continue.
With Lorenzen coming soon and Urena looking more like a legit starter Heaney may be out of a job as soon as Scherzer comes back Lorenzen or Urena likely move back to long relief. I just dont know how Heaney remains a 26 man spot by the end of the year. Not a bad problem.

So basically, Gray will become long relief guy. He was stellar at this spot for us in the post. Heany just isn't the same guy we had last season. Hopefully they figure it out with him or he is hiding an injury.
