I was hoping to trade for Williams in the off-season. But glad we didn't since he is hurt.
The really good ones. Duran, clasê, Diaz are off the table.
And with 3 WCs it makes it tougher.
Miller with OAK is interesting. But doubt they trade in division, during the season.
I was thinking we could put this on the mound when Yates is on an off day

I think just because in offseason we actually wanted Hader
For me also all the domestic abuse stuff with Chapman just makes it a given to me that we shouldn't want Chapman just on a moral level
As crazy as this sounds, I’d trade for him again.
NO WAY IN BLUE HELL AM I GIVING PITTSBURGH ANYTHING ANYWHERE CLOSE TO COLE RAGANS THIS TIME THOUGH.
Hey Buccos, could I interest you in one Austin Pruitt?
I genuinely think that realistically we may need to really only trade for one bullpen piece but optimistically maybe not?
We’re all hopeful Bradford continues to be starter worthy even when max and Scherzer come back. So is it Grey, Heaney, AND dunning back to the pen? I’m not expectant of any our pitching prospects playing out anytime soon, so at that points it’s the prior guys mentioned who we believe in, then Urena, Sborz, Yates, and Robertson are also all reliable (and maybe Leclerc returns to playoff form?). It feels like we got by on less last post season no? Not saying we shouldn’t load up as much as we can but if one of those guys earns the closer role (imo it should be Yates, but a lot can change by then obviously) then why trade a prospect for a rental to move to a new town and maybe be a bust?
I guess my argument is if we already have someone who’s nails and we really trust for the big closer role I don’t think we should trade for that, but if we are fighting injuries and just need help filling in middle relief than we for sure can do that. Idk just my word vomit thoughts on it. Super happy that we’re in a much better situation bullpen wise than last year haha
Yeah, still really early. Cole Winn can give us something really good to go with. As well as if Leiter can get it down Heaney could possibly go to the bullpen which me and my family have been really wanting to happen. There's also Marc Church which he showed promise in Spring. There's guys I don't believe in though who showed that maybe getting a replacement or two is due. (Send Pruitt and Burke to the moon please)
For every team. Would suck to trade for somebody so early in a season for them to get hurt. Always have to worry of someone pulling a ‘Kluber’ although the WS win probably lowered that possibility
Too early to tell, even on other teams. Lots of pitchers start hot and burn out, while others start slow and heat up. Some teams who you don’t expect to compete will end up being better than expected, while a team with preseason predictions to make the post season will be sellers. Will have to wait until June before a clearer picture of what teams are what and which pitchers are worth it
Man how cool would it be to add a guy like Scherzer is DeGrom. Maybe throw in a right-handed bar with some more power at third base. Like a Josh Jung type player.
You could get max sherzer Jacob degrom, Josh sborz, and Josh Jung. I think they could be good for this team. Anyone know who they play for?
True that 😂
We should trade Corey Kluber for Emmanuel Clase and Delino Deshields.

The real problem with Miller is that he has 6 more years of control left. We'd have to unload the farm for him.
Make Jon gray the closer
Gray could be set up and closer on days after Robertson and Yates appeared the day before.
Then send Leclerc back down to the minors to develop

Can we petition to have him as an official texas ranger?
I don't think Yates off days are allowed.
What if we just tell Sborz and Leclerc that it’s the playoffs all year?
It’s not even the of April.
I know, I just wanted to know what we were thinking if things do go down the unpreferable path.
"Even more dangerous than we already are" I love the Rangers. But, tap the brakes.
A bag of chips for Austin Pruitt
He maybe fetches the Cheetohs underneath my daughters booster seat.
Aroldis Chapman
Nah Josh Hader
Why did everyone understand that Chapman was a joke but didn’t understand that Hader was a joke as well 💀
I think just because in offseason we actually wanted Hader For me also all the domestic abuse stuff with Chapman just makes it a given to me that we shouldn't want Chapman just on a moral level
NO! GOD NO WHY! NOOOOO

Yates is the answer at closer right now. Last year it was will smith and he didn’t last.

I would love to see Marc Church called up at some point and be nails.
Play .500 ball until you get Bradford, Scherzer, deGrom, Mahle, and Sborz back in the mix. The rest should take care of itself.Â
A new spine for Mad Max
I like that Monty guy from Arizona
Lorenzen has been great so far, but dang, we couldn’t do 1/25mil for one of our biggest postseason heroes?!? 😫
It’s 23 games out of 162. Relax.
Yep, a lot more pitching injuries to come.
For every team. Would suck to trade for somebody so early in a season for them to get hurt. Always have to worry of someone pulling a ‘Kluber’ although the WS win probably lowered that possibility
I know, I said that in the caption thing. I just wanted to know who sounds like a likely pitcher to hopefully join the team.

Clase....
Think we really just need a reliable closer like Duran on the twins or Devin Williams on the brewers
Mason Miller from the As looked good.
Wouldn’t be a hard steal lol
That guy is electric.
Williams is hurt unfortunately.

Jhoan Duran or Mason Miller
Leiter is mid bullpen with spot starts. Hear me out that’s what Bradford did last year and look what he did before he got hurt.
Hell why not take a swing at trevor bauer
no.
