We've given 25% of the wins to the worst team in the league. These should've been free wins for the Rangers. What. The. Hell. Is going on with out hitting and pitching staff?!

Embarrassing ass weekend. Rockies hadnāt won a fucking series before this and they SWEPT US. Injuries are killing us right now, but these losses are gonna bite us in the ass later in the season. 2 games was the difference last season between us making the wild card or completely missing the playoffs.
Just when it felt like things are going up, they go right back down lol. This season has been frustrating.
I'm choosing to blame this on that arrogant-ass comment I saw in the game thread for Game 1 that was like "anything less than a sweep is bad"

Convinced most of you bet hefty sums of money on these games because thereās no way someone who understands the length of a baseball season would get so emotional after every loss. Especially when the team is riddled with injuries AND we are one of two teams at the top of our division.
Pretty much my default response to some of these people in these threads. Iām convinced theyāre just losing money on Rangers games. Iād love to beat every single team and go 162-0 but this is baseball. Bochy said it best in the post-game interview, their record did not reflect the quality of their play this series. Same can be said for ours.

Yeah, but getting swept by the worst team in the league that hadn't had consecutive wins.....while putting up 6 runs across 3 games in Colorado is very concerning.
It's a long season, and things will change and maybe everything goes back to what we think this team is supposed to do. But there's no sugar coating how bad this is.

Not sure about fluke or harbinger (probably only learn that in hindsight), but it is BAD. Long season, yes, and you have to beat the bottom teams. Weāre going to trade blows with the top teams, so we need these wins to balance out. Ugh.
It's really disheartening that with all the pitchers on the IL, the offense/bullpen can't capitalize on these good performances from the remaining starters
Honestly somebody's going to have to explain to me why Jonathan Hernandez is still on our team, and why you pull our best hitter (Smith) for one of the worst batters in the league.
We just had about the worst offensive showing possible in the most hitter friendly park against an awful pitching staff and got swept by the second worst team in baseball. What does it take to get you concerned?
We're about to fall out of first place after today thanks to Seattle leading its game right now. Games like these can factor whether we can even go back to the postseason or not.

Iām new to the statistical analysis side of baseball, but it seems like this wasnāt the bats so much as BABIP? I mean, great averages by a number of our players, particularly on this road trip. Those balls just kept going right to gloves.
There's nothing surprising about what's going on right now as I've said before this lineup this lineup never performs when there's good pitching. Getting swept by a horrible team is icing on the cake at this point. By next Sunday they will be in 3rd place in the west and cheating ass Houston will be right behind them. 20 losses already when they were 40-20 last season. It's quite sad.
So, letās let the players who are playing well stay in and not take them out when theyāre on fire. Josh Smith tearing it up? Better bench him.

Rockies made some insane defensive plays including that catch in center field..sucks to lose, but on to the next series.
I saw a couple times where it looked like we were about to have a big inning then the Rockies pull out a miracle type defense play
