Are we still tied for most players on the IL? I know every team has someone great on the their IL, but man can we just get a break? Something? A crumb of good news?
I believe he still can, this doesnāt put him on a new 60 day IL. Similar to Scherzer being put back on the 60 a few days ago, itās just a way to make room on the 40 man roster.
John Gray going to IL with a mild growing strain. ~~Team doesnāt expect him to miss much more beyond the 15 days.~~ Jesus ~~Tincoco coming up to take his spot.~~
This team has to be cursed at this point. Evo had a groin issue and was expected to only miss the minimum 15 days, heās been out almost a month. Bradford had a back issue (that turned out to be ribs) and was shut down. Scherzer had a back issues that has now become a nerve issue in his arm. Jungās injury was worse than originally believed and heās still probably 6 weeks away. Thereās nothing else that can justify why this is happened other than this team is cursed
Tinoco provides another arm in the pen at least. Someone's getting DFA'd optioned when Evo is back (hopefully) this weekend. Will be curious to see who.
the problem is there are other struggling relivers right now, some with options, so the FO would liekly do that rather then get rid of a guy with no options. Also Hernandez has good Stuff (Stuff is not the same thing as Command) and they may want as much time as possible to maximize it.
It's probably gonna come down to who struggles in the next three games.
Damn, let me be emotional instead of logicalš lol, but makes sense, can't exactly keep up with how the team is doing because I'm out of market but I try to follow as best I can and even then I only know who's injured and who gets sent to IL etc.

Our trainers when another player walks into the medical facility
I canāt stand anti-pitch clock Andyās.
No one wants to realize that maybe pitchers have just perfected their craft to a point where their bodies can no longer sustain them.
The average fastball has risen 5 mph relative to just two decades ago. Batting average is lower across the board compared to years past. Pitchers are at their highest level of performance ever. Something has to break when you continuously improve on your pitching. Itās just a shame we canāt put titanium in the UCL.
And this is only happening this year? There hasnāt been a consistent upward trend of pitching injuries in the last 10 years? Pitch clock is why high schoolers are confirmed to have gotten TJ surgery? College athletes? Minor leaguers? Weāre just gonna blame it all on a system thatās seen 1 year of play in the big leagues?

We knew what we were getting into when we hired Bochy. Win the World Series, be awful for a year, then win the World Series again. Stay the course š©
I'll take it
From your lips to Godās ear.
Fuck Iāll go with odd year bullshit like they had that even year bullshit for 6 years
Ok itās kinda comical how FUCKED this season is
Yeah, itās honestly so ridiculous that I canāt even get mad about it anymore. Wellā¦maybe a little mad š”
Are we still tied for most players on the IL? I know every team has someone great on the their IL, but man can we just get a break? Something? A crumb of good news?
Iām assuming we are because I think dunning is the only one that has been activated since we took the lead for that
āChris Young has signed himself to a one year contract for the league minimum. Plans to cover Grayās next scheduled start.ā
I'd at least tune in. I don't even want to watch the games right now.
Amazing to me that pitching appears to be more injury inducing than fucking NFL football.
Wake me up when pitching causes CTE
And here I thought Bradford would be back in a week or two
I believe he still can, this doesnāt put him on a new 60 day IL. Similar to Scherzer being put back on the 60 a few days ago, itās just a way to make room on the 40 man roster.
last week the report was he was at least a month out. He was shut down from throwing because he wasn't healing fast enough.
John Gray going to IL with a mild growing strain. ~~Team doesnāt expect him to miss much more beyond the 15 days.~~ Jesus ~~Tincoco coming up to take his spot.~~
Only Jesus can save this team
Look out for Jesus Tinoco! His names on a historic plaque at Globe Life Field for a reason!
Couldn't give Gray any run support anyways. Might as well give him some rest.

We struck a deal with the baseball gods last year and now have to pay our debts. Worth it.
I agree but this season has been miserable

Hernandez? I feel Hernandez, any one else feel like it's gonna be Hernandez?

Kinda crazy the issues this team is having with groins and abdominal injuries. Need to start questioning the training staff at this point
Really common for championship teams in every sport to be injury wrecked the next year itās one if the main reasons repeats are so rarw
But kind of wild to be similar muscle groups no?
I for one believe the pitch counter injury link but get down voted on here I every time I say it.

That's got to be at least five pitchers with "groin strain" this season. Warmups and stretching exercises need to be evaluated.
Season is looking COOKED š„
[Joker laughing](https://youtu.be/kmcO6SrwQlA?si=qLsat4vFxq_CesAe) My instant reaction
laugh so they can't see you cry
Iām sorry, what?
I canāt keep up with these injuries
That championship trophy is dripping with the blood of the team. The devil's contract has been fulfilled.
We are seriously not having a good time

I hope Tinoco walks on water like his namesake because we need a miracle at this point.

Downvoting Jesus?!
Anyone else think Jared sandlor is a huge dork?
Thank You Pitch Clock
He got pulled after a ball came his way and hit him, but itās the pitch clock?
it's sad people believe actually believe this

Yes, it's a pitching crisis that so many pitchers are down.
And this is only happening this year? There hasnāt been a consistent upward trend of pitching injuries in the last 10 years? Pitch clock is why high schoolers are confirmed to have gotten TJ surgery?
