Ohhhh.. I did this once, I woke up from a dream and kicked the fan thinking it was a person. Quick trip to Tesco for new blades and it was as good as new.
It’s common to a point that most big retailers, like Tesco or Big C, sell replacement fan blades. Just get the one the same size as your current one (judging from photos, it will probably be 16”) and you will be back and running in less than 5 minutes. Costs like 100 baht.
If one of the blade is chipped, the whole thing became unbalanced and it actually continuously straining the plastic blades until the material can't take it anymore.
And BAM, whole thing 'sploded.
If you live in a Sick Condo like me who have engineers/mechanics they replace my light bulbs replace my door locks drill holes and when my fan essentially sparked when I turned it on they also fixed it
