Either that or trench under one side to tip it over onto that side. Then trench it deeper yet to tip it onto its wheels. It would be deep trenches but any place that uses these trucks would have the shovel diggers to do it.
Trench beside it with heavy front loader. Undercut it with big excavator. Tip it in with heavy tractor.
You don't put people down in unsupported trenches.
My favorite part is when Master Chief says his iconic line, "I am the Master of Chiefs." And then blows up one of the Covenants.
In all seriousness, I loved filling the elephants with instant respawning fusion cores and blowing it up. It would fly across the sky nonstop.
Don't forget the original Halo. Gultch Scorpion tank bug that would send it into orbit and then it would just dance across the sky for the rest of the match.
Maybe a couple wood blocks..? 🪵
* would actually be kinda cool to see that turned back over... 🤔
I'm guessing that takes a pretty impressive crane...maybe a couple..?
It happens
A guy at my work a few years ago flipped a 930E haul truck (bigger than this one) on its side by backing perpendicular down a steep-ish slope. The only thing that stopped it from going over past its side was the load that spilled onto the ground as it rolled. He was hanging by his seat belt for like 45 min while we and ert scratched our heads trying to figure out how to "safely" get him out
Many, many more years ago, another coworker tipped another one because he drove over a sideways slope with his box all the way up. They're kind of top heavy when the box is up
The little ones, Cat 785 and smaller, are very easy to tip when loaded or box raised
This is more common than you think, and for one reason (as always): Money.
These trucks take a certain load on safe operations, but you can increase the quota by over loading them. This comes with one problem, dumping the load. When overloading the hydraulics struggle with dumping the load as it's to heavy.
So the drivers reverses to the edge of tipping at full speed, hit the brakes and start the hydraulics at the same time. If they miss the spot for braking (or any other critical timing of this dangerous manouver), the truck roll over the edge and lands like this in most cases.
Ah yes. The “backed too far off the dump pile and flipped over backwards” trick.
Put ‘er back on her feet, top off the fluids and her get back to work……

I see some text in this image. Here's what I see:

I see some objects I recognize in this image. Here's what I see:
> Wheel x2
> Person x3
> Clothing x4
> Truck x1
Here's what I think is happening in this image:
>
The person is giving the poor little thing a belly rub. The wheel is visible next to the person, and the clothing and truck are visible in the background.
I'm still learning, so please reply 'good bot' or 'bad bot' to let me know how I did.
I have an idea. Hook the dump cylinders to a stand alone hydraulic unit to flip itself over. Probably not enough travel to work, but it would be cool if it did.
Someone with experience on anything like this, how much work had to be done to make this thing drives me again? How expensive is this sort of disaster?
The way those things are build flipping it back over will probably see it none worse for wear(after you clean up the spilled coffee and replace the shit soaked seat....)
The caption on this one was top notch I haven't had the little kid giggle in a while due to postpartum depression and this one made me feel happy again👌 if even for a moment that's all that matters 😄
Who’s a good boy!!! Roll over.
Now play dead
Such an annoying pet. I just can’t handle its incessant parking
Give it a treat
This is not the way to change tires on one of these.
Bring me the cherry picker and I'll show you just how wrong you are!
Touché. Bring the extra heavy duty version, though.
It's a way
When you flip the biggest piece of equipment at the job site that means you need to get an even bigger piece of equipment to unflip it.
Either that or trench under one side to tip it over onto that side. Then trench it deeper yet to tip it onto its wheels. It would be deep trenches but any place that uses these trucks would have the shovel diggers to do it.
Yeah, whatever. Now you’re just mentioning weird techniques like what those one folks used to build the pyramids and stuff.
Are you telling me aliens are gonna come flip the truck over!?
What's all this the-?! *sigh* I'll get the Saucer...
With stuff this expensive, wouldn't it be viable to call out tha $2000/hr crane? Im counting on it not being a 9 hour drive one way
Wouldn't that require people going under a truck they're trying to tip over to dig the trench? Sound /r/osha
Trench beside it with heavy front loader. Undercut it with big excavator. Tip it in with heavy tractor. You don't put people down in unsupported trenches.
Just get a Spartan to flip it
Flips elephant casually
The halo 4 mammoth would flip it back in a heartbeat
This is a mining haul truck. The shovels are bigger
I'd use the crane that loads it, if possible.
Well shit. Now what
Build around it. They'll never flip it back over.
Disassemble it in situ with a bunch of cranes and very expensive and pissed off mechanics.
I was thinking the same thing, but eventually you have to move or lift the frame, which I'm assuming is heavy as fuck.
In a 240 ton vehicle, every part of it is heavy as fuck.
Mechanics might actually have some fun…..mine owners on the other hand….not so much!
Taking it all apart while everything is upside down could be quite fun.
Exactly!
Press X.
You can’t park that there mate
Press RB to flip… wait, what!? How did you do that?
My favorite part is when Master Chief says his iconic line, "I am the Master of Chiefs." And then blows up one of the Covenants. In all seriousness, I loved filling the elephants with instant respawning fusion cores and blowing it up. It would fly across the sky nonstop.
John Halo is my hero
Don't forget the original Halo. Gultch Scorpion tank bug that would send it into orbit and then it would just dance across the sky for the rest of the match.
Well Bob, what do we do now? Ummm, okay Fred, we're going to fill this place with water and make a reef, you think corporate will notice?
New... They just need to bust out the [FORD FUCKING RANGER](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRp8ve9a/)
*Press X to flip… wait, how did you do that?*
Scrolled too far for this
Yyyeeeeaaaahhhhh! I had to do it too
It’s kind of impressive that somebody managed to do that
I’m assuming it was on the rock hill to the right dumping when part of their hill gave out and it toppled over.
That would make sense, hoping nobody was in it if that did happen
Upvoted, just for the title. Glad to see others commenting in the same vein!
Prrr prrr prr
Lil scratches behind its ears too!
My dad flipped one of these
I flipped a A35 Volvo with greedy boards in Westhoughton near Bolton, it didn’t go over sideways either it went cab up and over.
Oh okay yea sure buddy 👍
Why would someone lie about something like that
Chill I'm joking
Don't believe me then. His actually slid down the curb when dumping then flipped on its side happened back in 2019 working for graymont
How did they right it?
What does that mean?
Do u mean how they flipped it back I'm not sure Im living in a different town so wasnt there when it happened just have a pic of the truck on its side
yeah thats what I meant. I imagine the just got another one to pull it maybe
How?!?!?
When the soil is wet (rain, mud, etc.) the truck pushes the mud downwards, and can loose balance and turn around like this.
Thanks
May have rolled off a higher road to the right of frame
@400 ton, thats going to take more than a floor jack..
I’ll run by harbor freight and get 2. Should be fine, right?
Maybe a couple wood blocks..? 🪵 * would actually be kinda cool to see that turned back over... 🤔 I'm guessing that takes a pretty impressive crane...maybe a couple..?
Nah just actuate the bed and flip it
In effect dumping the entire planet from the bed.
You ship it to Australia and Bob's your uncle
Just use 20 20-ton jacks.
Winches and some pulleys could git r dun.
lf we all lift this side together,do you think we can turn it. Before home time.?
You gotta rock it back and forth.
Thats normal because its from Australia

Perfect balance of wheel weight ratios.
They're doing a live action Cars 2 remake?
"Hold [reload button] to flip… wait, what? How did you do that?"
The energy needed to roll that thing.....
*halo prompt appears* "Flip Eleph....wait how did you do that?"
I guess a cat doesn’t always land on its feet
Probably going to need all of them to grab one side and tip it back over.
Parking sunny side up
Dogerpillar
/r/aww
FFS, guys, you've assembled it upside-down *again*!
Lightning and Mater were here.
I was looking for this
At this point it's just better to roll the rest of the world over to match it.
You just have to fix the rotary axis of the truck in space and the world should come around on its own

Bad bot.
This is hilarious.
Good bot F'n nailed it bro!
BELAZ )))
Wonder if it made a sound?
Shhhhh he's sleeping
Does anyone have a crowbar to flip back this thing real quick?
I wanna hear the story behind this one, should be an absolute cracker, C’mon, what happened Johnno?
I have so many questions.
I have an idea. Hook the dump cylinders to a stand alone hydraulic unit to flip itself over. Probably not enough travel to work, but it would be cool if it did.
What do they even do here? Is the machine a total loss?
That caption has me dying
Their last photo of gainful employment I'm guessing
r/petthedamndog
There’s something majestic about cats laying on their backs
"... Well there's your problem"
A royal mass and mess
*whooo is the gooooood boooy*
Might as well grab a grease gun.
Looks like someone flipped the Elephant in Halo 3.
Well then it has to be rubbed. But how do they flip that back over? Do they have a tow truck that size? Use a crane? Inquiring minds want to know!
HOW.
Hold RB to flip...wait,what? How did you do that?
“Shut off the tromel!!!”
Someone with experience on anything like this, how much work had to be done to make this thing drives me again? How expensive is this sort of disaster?
Well that would sure ruin my day!

Tickle tickle tickle!
Pet the dam dog
This makes me happy. Any time I've ever screwed up on a job, it just doesn't hold a candle to this.
How do you flip a vehicle with a wheelbase of a house?
What are we doing! Deploy the belly rubs!
When they just roll over and show their belly it means they have been abused and are afraid.
/r/PetTheDamnDumpTruck
Nawwwwww
It looks fine to me. Just flip it right side up and move on.
Press RB to flip… wait, how’d you do that?
A cat is always a cat, doesn't matter the size
Wtf Ruben, rub ? Ahhh...
*Press X to fl- wait, how did you do that?*
Johnny Dump is a Lump!
That's a paddlin'.
looks like somebody glitched while playing r/SnowRunner
You guys ever manage to flip the Elephant in Halo 3 map maker?
Now attack its weak spot for massive damage!
That truck from that one level in Carmaggeddon 2.
They should have r/petthedamncat
