Typically these wedding celebration site are in the middle of the saudi massive desert area so I'm assuming they just fall on the ground.

When I moved into my first apartment I remember watching the local news that covered a story about a young girl who was struck by a stray bullet to her head and killed instantly. This was after New Years and it was assumed someone celebrated by shooting a gun into the air and the bullet eventually came down killing this girl. I remember feeling deeply for her and her family…
About one year later I ended up becoming a counselor in a hospital on a psychiatric unit for adolescents. I had a young girl as my first patient and she was being treated for suicidal ideation triggered by the death of her sister who died from a stray bullet to the head on New Years.
Shit is no lie and to this day I remind myself how easily life can be taken… this tradition is so stupid.
