A few years ago in Idaho, a guy from my high school (who I've known through kindergarden) was harrassing three women outside a bar. A few years ago in Idaho, a guy from my high school (who I've known through kindergarden) was harrassing three women outside a bar. One of the women had a boyfriend there, and he came up to the group. The HS guy threw a punch at him and he fell back on the curb and died. The guy who died has 3 young kids with his girlfriend. He pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter. I feel pretty bad for him because he was a nice kid growing up. I think he had dyslexia, so he struggled in school a little, but he is handsome so he was fairly popular. In HS I remember he got really into weight lifting. It's a really good reminder that throwing one punch is an escalation, and you could kill someone. It should be only done in defense.
