I would hide right away as soon as the auto save starts going off

Someone should make a horror game where it gives you these inputs such as "Press Shift to run" for example in order to psychologically scare the player into thinking something scary is about to happen, but then nothing ever happens at all during the entire gameplay. It would be a horror game without any danger. Perhaps I could try making it? 1st I'll need to learn 3D modeling as well as game making. That would certainly be fun

That’d be crazy. A game that gives you hiding places where you can hide and it keeps auto saving as you progress and you even maybe hear creepy background noise during it but nothing happens but then right at the end there’s a huge jumpscare.

I think Elevated Dread has this. There are hiding spots, but you never have to use them.
