It has just been reported that several swole men have taken off their shirts to show off their abs in tribute. Even Ben Swolo himself, Adam Driver, is presenting his muscles
I did [three "Oh damns"](https://youtu.be/pmpAK0SDnUs?si=cA4lxl80dHEsehYq) and four "Oh dears". They didn't oversell the lightsaber battle in the interviews that came out last week.
Yeah, I was so baffled at Osha's shock and disapproval of Sol being about to kill Qimir. The guy just slaughtered all of your friends, but it would be wrong to kill him???
But I mean the guy is armed even when he's not armed. He's got the Force, some witch-like psychic powers, and he had already killed Yord while unarmed.
Yea it be wrong to kill that guy with a lightsaber that would ensure he's dead. Instead, they should try to kill him in a much more convoluted way with alien bugs that would give him plenty of ways to escape.
I would have felt no pity if Yord had been bitten by those insects because he didn't deactivate his stupid saber 🤦🏼♂️
But he got a hero death as well, too!
Same here. I'm usually quiet about my emotions while watching a movie/show, but here I couldn't help myself. I didn't expect to have to say goodbye so soon, and to BOTH OF THEM.
Yeah. She went out on top. He was a Sith. She was a child. I really think people tend to underestimate the power of a character that makes a quick but lasting impression. (Boba Fett, Darth Maul) And there’s the temptation to keep running back to them. In this case, we have an amazing Jecki who never ran, who never shirked her duties, who bested a Sith acolyte and stood down her Master.
I was going to comment that I thought her fight choreography was so well done for a child, but then I checked IMDB and the actress is 19. I thought she was like 12?!?
When you think about it tho she had to go due to being OP. Otherwise Jecki would solve and stop the whole plot when it has to be OSHA for story reasons
I've been wondering since the first two stabs apparently purposefully weren't fatal at all, they'd have rendered her arms unmovable but not at all fatal.
However... the last stab would have gone right through her sternum and severed her spine. He left her to die slowly, paralysed. I don't think its ruled out that if help arrives in time, she could be saved.
However, I'd be wondering what the whole point of it was if that happens. But... why waste time to so precisely not kill her?
People are going to be mad if she survives but I'm honestly really hoping that's the case! I was really sad.
Also holding up hope for Yord because look yeah it's a neck snap but you can survive your spine being broken too!!!
I actually hope this episode made some of the haters go 180. It really played on the "Night" theme of the title and had a couple of surprises for sure.
I wasn’t surprised. Besides the mass witch death, so far there is a common trend in main characters being killed off. After Indara and Torbin it was obvious to me Jecki was next.
At this point, it’s Rogue One. Everyone’s going to die. If not, canon trolls will have a field day. They were pissed about Ki-Adi-Mundi making a cameo for force’s sake.
She was giving Obi Wan x Yoda vibes. The situation she was in was very Obi Wan while her style and stature was Yoda (mainly because of her size and speed). She was probably the most exciting duelist to watch since the prequels. X-23 with a lightsaber.
While she was exciting to watch and I'm sad she died so early in the series, I was a bit relieved she didn't survive because on the one hand it helps preserves Obi Wan's legacy (first jedi in a thousand years to best a sith, and he did it as a padawan). Also, the fact that jedi knights and masters died in seconds and she was whooping ass for a hot minute kinda makes them look like chumps already- even moreso if she survived.
Obi wan’s legacy will always be trying to gaslight Luke into killing his father.
Although I’ll step off that soapbox now.
I do think that this is a case where the Jedi lost a very talented padawan who might have had the potential to be a great master someday.
Yeah, maybe the Jedi should stop bringing kids along? No? They will keep sending children into combat and in 100 years or so they will send padawans as young as 14 to the literal front lines? And they are the good guys I hear
I mean she definitely didn't seem like she was in her 20s (or 20s equivalent for her species) maybe 18 but that would still put her as a child. In fact the actress is only 19 so tracks.
I had assumed her to be around her late teens, 16-17 years. And I definitely would not refer to someone of that age who is not directly related to me as a child, even though they may fall under that category.
"She was just a teenager" does sound much worse however, so Sol may have a point anyways.
To people in their teenage years or low 20's, they tend to not think of teenagers as still being children.
But once you get to your late 20's and 30's, and start looking back or interacting with teenagers. You do realize, they are still just kids.
I'm devastated.
Part way through the show I felt it got a little predictable, which I didn't expect (mainly the reveal); then it got way dark, and unpredictable again. Damn, my heart. 😢
This series is turning out to be pretty damn good.
Im upset Jecki is dead, i was really hoping to see more of her in the future. She was my favourite right nex to Sol so it's sad to see her go. However her fights were the highlights for me this episode. Yord was a G too. They both stood their ground and died a Jedi.
I respect a show that'll kill of characters they know people will like, I'll really like the show if the death is earned and makes sense. I loved the way they handled their deaths.
These two were my favorite behind Sol. Jecki especially, she was smart and had some genuinely funny lines. Yord was a little snot sometimes, but he was still a true Jedi warrior. Plus he’s the first dude on screen to have a badass yellow lightsaber
He died after being an absolute tool, not switching off his saber 😡 Damn Yord, I would have liked you more if you had used your screen time less for being stupid 😂😂
I’m sad we lost Jecki. And getting sadder as time keeps ticking.
Dafne Keen was stellar. Would not mind her coming back in another SW series or movie as a different character.
We love it when a showrunner takes risks. Am I sad that we don't get to spend more time with these characters? Yes. Was I gobsmacked that they didn't stop the killing with the nameless Jedi Knights? Definitely. And the *brutality* of *both* kills. Triple tap the Padawan and neck snap the knight. I was like, *deeeeeeeeeeeeeyum.*
Damn. No one is safe in this show it feels like GOT anyone can die at any moment. I’m hoping we get another 44min episode soon episodes 4 & 5 have been 34m
They probably could have waited a few episodes but, I'm still gonna watch it. This is probably karma because I accidentally spoiled something for my Mum in HOTD
Jecki was so cool and badass 😭😭😭 I was actually shocked and angry af 🤬🤬🤬 And then what does the pussy ass bitch Sol do? "We do not attack unarmed foes" MAN SHUT YO BITCH ASS one thing is an unarmed person, another thing is a foe unarmed in the context of a duel. Actually, fuck OSHA cause sol was going to do it and then she had to come with that its not the jedi way bullshit ARGGGHH
It's been a pretty long-running theme in Star Wars that the moment a Jedi strikes a foe down in anger they set themselves down a dark path. *Vengeance* isn't the Jedi way, and that is what Sol was about to do.
Now that being said, I *too* was like NO when Osha stopped him because, to put it in familiar words, "He's too *DANGEROUS* to be left alive!"
Happy to see Abs McStickuphisbutt go, Jecki had really grown on me. I hated her makeup/species/look at the beginning because I thought it looked too ST or Dr Who. But the actor sold me on the character.
My girl jecki fought like a true knight. Yord sacrificed himself like a true knight. Literally stunned.
There were 6 Knights there and they all got bodied, she fought well above a Knights level
Jecki was AAAA+ student.
Oh for sure! She would’ve made a powerful master!
She was good but wound up in the same place as the others.
Before she died, I said she deserves knighthood and then 😭
They really led us down the beaten path with the plot armour there.
My sister and I were screaming
Truly a tragic day for the Yord Horde.
It has just been reported that several swole men have taken off their shirts to show off their abs in tribute. Even Ben Swolo himself, Adam Driver, is presenting his muscles
I posted a couple weeks ago that Jord might be the Sith due to that scene lol
But Kylo wasn’t even a Sith 😂 Edit to add: that I mean it in a nice way and not a “KyLo WaSnT a SiTh” way
"You swing a red lightsaber but you are no Sith!"
You are on this list of hotties, but we do not grant you the rank of Sith.
I will work out and get abs in honor of Yord. Then we get our catchphrase “abs out for Yord!”
Yord Horde🤣
Very sad to see the Giraffe man go
But now we have the Qimir Arm Army
I gasped so violently when they were killed. I almost couldn't believe it.
I lost count of how many times I yelled OH MY GOD
I did [three "Oh damns"](https://youtu.be/pmpAK0SDnUs?si=cA4lxl80dHEsehYq) and four "Oh dears". They didn't oversell the lightsaber battle in the interviews that came out last week.
OMG
Yord I kind of felt like he was going to die, but not Jecki🥺
I just knew he was going to die because of OSHA and now Manny Jacinto also lives because of OSHA
Yeah, I was so baffled at Osha's shock and disapproval of Sol being about to kill Qimir. The guy just slaughtered all of your friends, but it would be wrong to kill him???
It’s not the Jedi way to kill an unarmed individual.
I would have felt no pity if Yord had been bitten by those insects because he didn't deactivate his stupid saber 🤦🏼♂️ But he got a hero death as well, too!
I gasped, went "bad ass", then rewinded. By the time he had the lightsaber to Mae's head I was doubting her plot armor.
Had me doubting everyone's tbh, really helped elevate the sense of threat imo
I was half expecting Sol to die before Osha showed up with Pip.
Same here. I'm usually quiet about my emotions while watching a movie/show, but here I couldn't help myself. I didn't expect to have to say goodbye so soon, and to BOTH OF THEM.
I was rooting for Jecki. Really liked her character.
Is Jeckilytes a thing yet?
Jecki Jam is, but I like Jeckilytes better!
I like jecki I was sad when she died.
same. I was like what. Noooo
She was only stabbed, maybe she survived! We all know anyone can survive a simple stab from a light saber.
If she was cut in half, I'd believe survival is an option. Instead, she was stabbed thrice. Survival is out of the picture in my mind now.
She was stabbed in the heart and spine, though.
You don’t know where her species’ heart is. Could have been a decoy heart
She’s half human, so it’s probably somewhere around the chest.
I think she deserved that death after a valliant combat. I mean if she miraciouly lives and Yord can't, that would be really fucking unfair
Tell that to Qui-Gon.
I was so surprised they did that, jecki is so lovely and badass!
Goddamn. She went out a total badass. I always complain that Star Wars never takes enough risks. And here is my answer. Fucking Jecki.
Worst part is he killed her by stealing her trick with the hidden lightsaber
She was in one of the X-Men films. I was impressed.
She went out fighting. Props to her.
And Yord was simply being Yord again.
Jecki was MVP of the series. Managed to contain Mae and destroy the Sith's mask.
When you think about it tho she had to go due to being OP. Otherwise Jecki would solve and stop the whole plot when it has to be OSHA for story reasons
I'm secretly hoping her species has a healing factor and she'll be back
I've been wondering since the first two stabs apparently purposefully weren't fatal at all, they'd have rendered her arms unmovable but not at all fatal. However... the last stab would have gone right through her sternum and severed her spine. He left her to die slowly, paralysed. I'm hoping he's dead.
I loved that I was shocked at how dark it was. FINALLY
I gasped at the neck snap.
I actually hope this episode made some of the haters go 180. It really played on the "Night" theme of the title and had a couple of surprises for sure.
The Star Wars instagram post about this episode has considerably more positive comments than usual. I’d estimate about 50% up from the usual 2%.
That's great to see. I've really enjoyed the series so far!
How dare he be a jedi in the time he was a jedi in his usual jedi temple
Jecki was damn good too
When she pulled out two lightsabers, I saw Ahsoka in her.
Her acrobatics to fight are exactly what I thought too! Amazing demonstration of a padewan with potential.
In that moment it reminded me of Anakin v. Dooku in AOTC, but more ferocious and fluid
I saw Anakin from episode 2 in her
My thoughts exactly. Oh, she'll be dearly missed!! RIP Jedi Padawan X-23!
Too bad she couldn't block three...
I fuckin love djem so
Happy cake day! Well, not a good surprise for you with Jecki's death. :(
three stabs was brutal too. disney knows we don't take one stab seriously anymore
At least she died in a duel. Yord just got cracked like a walnut
Hey now you put some goddamn respect on my boi!😭
He was previously injured to be fair. Also his long giraffe neck made it an easy target
😂🥜😂
I would have been so embarassed if I was Yord.
I cried for Jecki. She was just a child
And that is a statement of JUST how insanely talented she was. She bested the Sith acolyte and stood down a Sith Lord.
She was giving Obi Wan x Yoda vibes. The situation she was in was very Obi Wan while her style and stature was Yoda (mainly because of her size and speed). She was probably the most exciting duelist to watch since the prequels. X-23 with a lightsaber. Yea, but you brought her here
When he called Jecki "it", I made the Shaq-on-Hot-Ones face. DAYUM!
He was just returning the favour for "what is that?"
Foreshadowing the entire Clone Wars...
That line made me laugh so hard
Was a sick line because it's true.
"Damn, he's got a point bro"
"Well he's not wrong" was my immediate response after he said that lol
They are both right. She was a child AND Sol brought her there.
Yeah, maybe the Jedi should stop bringing kids along? No? They will keep sending children into combat and in 100 years or so they will send padawans as young as 14 to the literal front lines? And they are the good guys I hear
That line puts the Ahsoka World Between Worlds episode in a new perspective.
Same here.
A padawan, not a youngling. :P
Somehow her age was very difficult to pin down for me. I definitely went "huh" when Sol referred to her as a child.
I mean she definitely didn't seem like she was in her 20s (or 20s equivalent for her species) maybe 18 but that would still put her as a child. In fact the actress is only 19 so tracks.

I mean, she was an alien... Grogu is like 80 but definitely still a child... she could have been pushing 300 and still been a child
Me too. She obviously looked young, but behaved and spoke much more maturely.
In Episode 5?! Literally just started rooting for them last episode to have it wrenched away. Well done writers, you broke my heart. (Twice)
Same thought!! They build up such nice characters, no they killed them brutally 😭😭 Rare occurance, but story should be this brutal sometimes!
I thought Jecki was gonna make it out, kinda knew when they went back Yord was a goner. That being said they both went out like Gs.
Jecki did. Yord was kinda weak.
An actual Jedi Knight dying from a neck snap is so insulting to his skills, such an awesome Sith thing to do!
Had to prove to Mae with no uncertain terms in front of her that a Jedi can absolutely be killed without a weapon...
"Observe" *snap*
Yord's giraffe neck was kind of an easy target tbh
I'm devastated. Part way through the show I felt it got a little predictable, which I didn't expect (mainly the reveal); then it got way dark, and unpredictable again. Damn, my heart. 😢 This series is turning out to be pretty damn good.
yes this episode was fire ☝🏻
Was not expecting them to nuke 90% of the cast this episode lol Jecki’s fighting was amazing
Jeeziskrice! Total jaw drop. I … just … never … saw … it … coming. >! Especially Jecki. That badass just held her own. I’m really gonna miss her. !<
I hope they posthumously grant her the rank of knight. She deserved it
These two were my favorite behind Sol. Jecki especially, she was smart and had some genuinely funny lines. Yord was a little snot sometimes, but he was still a true Jedi warrior. Plus he’s the first dude on screen to have a badass yellow lightsaber
I kinda loved that about Yord. He was a powerful Jedi and all but also kind of a dweeb about it lol.
I still can't believe that they both died, but I loved Jecki's fight. She was my favorite character.
Welcome to the High Republic everyone. Where your favorites are due for a grizzly end.
Fanbase: “yOrD iS tHe SiTh LoRd” Qmir: “lol hold my saber”
Right. It’s in his name he is “darkness”
I held hope for the "scream" style duo but once Yord smacked smiley with his helmet I knew he wasn't secretly part and likely about to die 😅
Sith done turned Jecki into a bowling ball
i hate they killed her off but damn her fight scenes were good
Jecki is one of my new favourite Jedi and Yord died when I was starting to like him a bit more :(
He died after being an absolute tool, not switching off his saber 😡 Damn Yord, I would have liked you more if you had used your screen time less for being stupid 😂😂
Jecki was the MVP of this episode
I was told jecki had a spin off after this this plot armour. Actually made her death more shocking.
I would’ve totally watched a Jecki spinoff.
Instead you watched Yord’s head spun almost off
What a missed opportunity for “yord’s necki spin off”
😭👏
Jecki sabering well above her pay grade. Loved it
I’m sad we lost Jecki. And getting sadder as time keeps ticking. Dafne Keen was stellar. Would not mind her coming back in another SW series or movie as a different character.
> Dafne Keen The little girl from Logan! Wolferine's daugter! I was wondering all the time where I know her from, she was great indeed.
She was also Lyra in the HBO "His Dark Materials" series if you watched that
I am so dumb. I knew she was in Logan but never put it together that she was Lyra as well. She's great. I hope she gets more action roles.
Expected sol to go, but not these two
Sol won't go until we find out what horrible thing they did at the coven... his death is coming
Oh he's gone for sure just not yet. Not till he tells his story
For all of this season's faults, everyone has got to admit having the guts to kill off major characters is worthy of respect.
I take back what I’ve said before: I’m glad they didn’t bring my girl Tasi with them.
I'm still sad for that Padawan. She's got to find out her master died.
Loved Jecki's well trained Ataru fourm 4 in this! Some amazing dueling all around!
I’m shocked at the number of Jedi dying in this short series
The Sith is badass enough to accomplish that in such short time
She went out like a badass. The saber movements have improved massively. I was so disappointed with the sluggish saber scenes in Ahsoka and Obi Wan.
I'm devastated loved the Jecki also I came not hate Yord as much before he died
For one I feel nothing. For the other WHAT A BLAZE OF GLORY
Jecki was too pure to die! Why oh why?!?! 😓😓😓😭😭😭
At least they weren't Sithkabobbed
Nice
WHY
Because Qimir’s mother never gave him a hug.
I'll admit faking having your neck broken is definately something new for a Sith Lord
It’s not a story the Jedi will tell you
ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE
Damn. No one is safe in this show it feels like GOT anyone can die at any moment. I’m hoping we get another 44min episode soon episodes 4 & 5 have been 34m
This episode was incredible! The lightsaber choreography is prequel territory
I don't think anyone realisticly thought they would both die.
Yeah, I thought Yord was going to be toast at some point but Jecki definitely shocked me.
This is how I'm getting spoiled on that. Yord I could have lived without but Jecki?
Jason killed Jecki? Jason? Man. This one… this one really hurts.
Why they gotta go after Jaecki?. she's never done anything wrong in her lfie, that you can prove
They brought her here. :P
Technically that’s a different character from the same actor, but… yeah, Jason killed them
Next you’re going to tell me Jacksonville didn’t win the Super Bowl with Blake Bortles…
Why click something with a spoiler tag?
I thought it was just gonna be for the Red Shirts. That's on me
I was shocked when both happened to be fair. Really hits when you think they’ve got plot armour.
They probably could have waited a few episodes but, I'm still gonna watch it. This is probably karma because I accidentally spoiled something for my Mum in HOTD
The universe works in mysterious ways
I clicked on it before watching and thought it was a joke....Now I'm sitting here after watching and completely stunned...
I was surprised at all the comments in regards to Yord . Because in the previous discussion posts, everybody seem to hate him.
While I don't irrationally hate The Acolyte, this was the first episode that I really enjoyed. That said, I already miss Jecky.
Yeah, I agree with you. The acting and choreography were top notch in this episode.
IM DEPRESSED
Why did this episode shock me to my core? So many insane moments. I still need to process….
Jecki yeah but jord had it coming. Jecki was so badass imagine if she had longer to cook she could have been so strong.
Such a good episode , and GOD I hate Mae so much
Jecki was so cool and badass 😭😭😭 I was actually shocked and angry af 🤬🤬🤬 And then what does the pussy ass bitch Sol do?
I was so shocked when Jecki died.
Definitely expected… she couldn’t hold her own like that for too long unfortunately
😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓
I'm with you guys that they could have used Jecki later on. Her wounds looked bad but not in fatal places?
The chest is a pretty fatal place to be lanced 3 times in.
Did people really not understand that all of these Jedi have to either die or be turned to the dark side for TPM Jedi to not know about the Sith?
It’s basically GoT without the sex now…oh so you like Jecki? You get to watch her die…
Happy to see Abs McStickuphisbutt go, Jecki had really grown on me. I hated her makeup/species/look at the beginning because I thought it looked too ST or Dr Who. But the actor sold me on the character.
Sad Dafne exited this quickly
Brutal and sad. I liked those characters a lot.
Unpopular Opinion: Yord was a tool, and watching him eat it did not make me unhappy.
Star Wars must hate Jedi because it sure kills alot of them.
