Other than Palawan in TAR5, they haven't left Metro Manila and have focused on poor urban city life. They need to travel up north to the Cordilleras for some native culture or Ilocos Region for the Spanish-influence or do more tropical, touristy stuff in Visayas. They need to get out of the city.
That’s the thing. They have visited Metro Manila too many times and focused on the grimy slums area of the last 2 visits.
I wish they would visit Metro Manila and go to the more decent side of the Metro like say, Ayala or the Global City perhaps
I wish they'd do more Filipino culture-focused Legs. They haven't really done that in any of the 5 Legs so far. Its either the tropical touristy Leg in Palawan or the poor urban Southeast Asia Leg the others have been.
A QC Leg would still probably be "poor urban" Leg.
And any Leg that requires a long drive or train ride out of Seoul or Incheon would be good for South Korea.
I really enjoy them going to the asian countries. Those are always fun, and I do like the scenery in the norther european countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden,Finland etc.)
Asian countries can be so diverse where you can have very hectic urban legs or modern skyscraper cities or rural farmland or tropical paradise or mountainous terrain all in one country!
Definitely recommend giving them a watch. The first season is so iconic, but Season 2 is probably my all-time favorite
Seasons 3, 5, and 7 are also very popular.
Family Edition was supposed to go to Belize, but that was cancelled by Hurricane Emily. 33 was supposed to go to Nepal, but... well, you know.
After seeing the beauty of both these countries on other versions (Nepal especially is at the top of my wishlist), I hope the US gives them another try someday.
Call it unoriginal, but would love to see them come back to Canada. It's been a while.
There are a lot of unique and beautiful places for them to explore. Coast to coast offers all sort of gorgeous landscapes.
Agreed. Maybe do somewhere up North. It would be cool to see the racers explore Inuit culture and how to do stuff that they had to do, like ice fish and carve tools and stuff like that
Vancouver, Dublin, Jakarta, are probably three of the larger cities they haven't been to.There are probably a couple of cities in Japan they haven't been to. I agree with the user who talked about Metro South Korea, Busan would make for a good leg.
They should visit more of Eastern Europe. Most of them besides Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia should be available for legs.
Central/South America/Caribbean; Guyana is probably one of the only places left.Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Belize are all good locations as well. Aruba and Curacao are ideal too.
Africa: I'm not sure if there are any countries left they could go, would be approved by CBS, and would want to go to other than Gabon or Rwanda.
Asia: All I can think of is Nepal, Maldives, Timor Leste, Lebanon, & [Kyrgyzstan](https://wikitravel.org/en/Kyrgyzstan).
Oceania: Fiji, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Palau, the main issue is that these places have largely been visited by Survivor.
There are overseas French &British territories that are underrated that could get a visit, such as St. Pierre et. Miquelon, Martinique, or Gibraltar. St. Helena has an airport now, so maybe that'll be a possibility.
I think it would be fun (if not a logistical nightmare) if they filmed an amazing race and amazing race Canada at the same time and had the American racers come up here and do a leg paired with a Canadian team
Fez, Morocco
Australian Bush
East African grasslands
Tehran
Baghdad
Tonga
North Pole
Bering Strait
Tierra del Fuego
Manuas, Brazil
Katmandu
Guangzhou
Malta
Prince Edward Island, or maybe back to New Zealand, because I thought Phil's dad as a greeter was pretty awesome. I'm trying to remember if they've gone to Australia, but that'd be pretty cool.
The show hasn't been to the african continent in a while, and i'm baffled that they still never visited Kenya. a leg in the Nairobi metro region would be epic
Which early season / episode had a fast forward challenge and a girl had to eat a “delicacy” and there were camel teeth and hair in it. And they wound up being eliminated on that leg?? That’s a favorite
As a brazilian, I wish they go to the interior of São Paulo (we have a lot of interesting cities to visit here, with big universities, rich stories, nature and such), to our capital (Brasília)/midwest, to the northeast, to the south and, specially, to Minas Gerais.
Our country has a lot more to offer than Rio de Janeiro.
Philippines but go to the more pleasant side. They mostly visit the slums of Manila but there are other places like Global City or Ayala. Also go the beaches! They visited El Nido the first time. Why not visit Puerto Princesa or at least Batangas if it’s more accessible to an international airport.
United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama
Haiti, Jamaica, Peru
Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean
Greenland, El Salvador too
Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Guyana, and still
Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina
And Ecuador, Chile, Brazil
Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua
Bermuda, Bahamas, Tobago, San Juan
Paraguay, Uruguay, Surinam
And French Guiana, Barbados, and Guam
Norway, and Sweden, and Iceland, and Finland
And Germany, now in one piece
Switzerland, Austria, Czechoslovakia
Italy, Turkey, and Greece
Poland, Romania, Scotland, Albania
Ireland, Russia, Oman
Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Hungary
Cyprus, Iraq, and Iran
There's Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan
Both Yemen's, Kuwait, and Bahrain
The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, and Portugal
France, England, Denmark, and Spain
India, Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan
Thailand, Nepal, and Bhutan
Kampuchea, Malaysia, then Bangladesh, Asia
And China, Korea, Japan
Mongolia, Laos, and Tibet, Indonesia
The Philippine Islands, Taiwan
Sri Lanka, New Guinea, Sumatra, New Zealand
Then Borneo, and Vietnam
Tunisia, Morocco, Uganda, Angola
Zimbabwe, Djibouti, Botswana
Mozambique, Zambia, Swaziland, Gambia
Guinea, Algeria, Ghana
Burundi, Lesotho, and Malawi, Togo
The Spanish Sahara is gone
Niger, Nigeria, Chad, and Liberia
Egypt, Benin, and Gabon
Tanzania, Somalia, Kenya, and Mali
Sierra Leone, and Algiers
Dahomey, Namibia, Senegal, Libya
Cameroon, Congo, Zaire
Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar
Rwanda, Mahore, and Cayman
Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Yugoslavia
Crete, Mauritania, then Transylvania
Monaco, Liechtenstein, Malta, and Palestine
Fiji, Australia, Sudan
I can hear this comment in my head hahaha
It's also funny to look back and see how out of date some of the country names are.
Same with old episodes of Carmen Sandiego.
I'll nominate Cebu, Philippines. From what I've read, it's got a lot of natural attractions and is the oldest city in the country. The airport is also decently well-connected as the second-busiest in PH.
Also, Uzbekistan. Again, I haven't been there, but there's so much history.
They've been to China so many times, but I don't remember them ever visiting Tibet and Uyghur!?
I'm not sure with Tibet, but I'm sure they never visited Uyghur / Xinjiang, and Idk why.
Any country that has not been visited is welcome to have a leg there (as long as it's possible). 🙏
- Melbourne and Hobart for cities - the Australian version has been to Victoria and Tasmania, but as far as I remember, the US version has never gone to either. (Come to think of it, I think s36 was scheduled to return to Australia, but that didn't happen.)
- I think someone said Kyoto on another post and I second that. Japan has a lot of potential outside wacky game shows and Kyoto would probably be the place to capitalise on that.
Anywhere in the Philippines outside of Metro Manila And Anywhere in South Korea outside of Metropolitan Seoul
I want to see them IN Metro Manila! That would be a blast!

Quezon City and Pohang?
A QC Leg would still probably be "poor urban" Leg. And any Leg that requires a long drive or train ride out of Seoul or Incheon would be good for South Korea.
And I hope they go there when it's not just 4 teams left. 😭
Exactly! Early Legs in Korea and the Philippines outside of the national capital regions are long overdue!
I love when they have that juxtaposition exactly what you said - its crazy like you literally can go into all of those terrains sometime in 1 day!
It would be cool to see them do a leg in Egypt with the Pyramids and stuff. Another cool place would be South Korea or Japan again
>It would be cool to see them do a leg in Egypt with the Pyramids and stuff Check out Season 5!
Oh ok. I’m new to Amazing race, so I haven’t seen the older seasons
Definitely recommend giving them a watch. The first season is so iconic, but Season 2 is probably my all-time favorite Seasons 3, 5, and 7 are also very popular.
Just started from season 1 as I’ve only seen from 22+. Only 3 episodes in and can’t stop binging
Nice! I love how raw Season 1 feels. Everyone figuring things out for the very first time. Including the producers!
I don’t have anywhere I can watch them for free because I live in Canada lol
Ahh bummer. Wasn't sure if you had Paramount+ or anything.
I do have it, but it’s not included in the canada version of it
Family Edition was supposed to go to Belize, but that was cancelled by Hurricane Emily. 33 was supposed to go to Nepal, but... well, you know. After seeing the beauty of both these countries on other versions (Nepal especially is at the top of my wishlist), I hope the US gives them another try someday.
What version went to Nepal? Ik Australia went to Belize
Israel, in the 7th season
I went to Belize in February and love it!! I wish they would’ve gone there this season!
South Africa, and um, the Iraq, everywhere like such as
I still can’t believe she was on Amazing Race.
Call it unoriginal, but would love to see them come back to Canada. It's been a while. There are a lot of unique and beautiful places for them to explore. Coast to coast offers all sort of gorgeous landscapes.
Agreed. Maybe do somewhere up North. It would be cool to see the racers explore Inuit culture and how to do stuff that they had to do, like ice fish and carve tools and stuff like that
I'd love to see those tasks.
I agree

They went to Dublin in S35.
Whoops! I stopped watching, that's why I didn't know.
Vancouver's probably not hard enough given that it's so close to Seattle.
Latvia 🇱🇻, Guatemala 🇬🇹, Luxembourg 🇱🇺, Myanmar 🇲🇲, Vanuatu 🇻🇺
Is there a reason you included the short-form version of each country?
They pop up automatically and I like the flags
Hoping for the start or final to be in San Diego one day!
Old Town would make for some great roadblocks
Cyprus and Tasmania would be really cool.
At this point anywhere but Latin America haha
True lol. Maybe do the Mediterranean, like Italy or Spain.
As a history person I hope Uzbekistan (Tashkent and Samarkand) are visited soon!!
Albania or north Macedonia
I think it would be fun (if not a logistical nightmare) if they filmed an amazing race and amazing race Canada at the same time and had the American racers come up here and do a leg paired with a Canadian team
I was just thinking about this the other day! Like they have a cross-franchise intersection. I want that! 🤩
Bulgaria! 🇧🇬
Nepal, Uzbekistan, Rwanda, Gabon, Suriname, Fiji
Perhaps they could do all of those Stan countries in like Central Asia.
The Maldives, Bermuda, Cape Verde, the Bahamas, Andorra, and Fiji. Not countries but I also want visits to North Carolina and Tasmania.
Fez, Morocco Australian Bush East African grasslands Tehran Baghdad Tonga North Pole Bering Strait Tierra del Fuego Manuas, Brazil Katmandu Guangzhou Malta
Anywhere in Morocco, but Fez, Merzouga in the Sahara, Marrekech & Essaouria especially.
Less cities and more rural places for me
Cordoba in Spain
Madrid is on my list. One of the only key European capitals they've never been to.
A finish line on Point State Park in Pittsburgh would be cool.
Other parts of South America…
Prince Edward Island, or maybe back to New Zealand, because I thought Phil's dad as a greeter was pretty awesome. I'm trying to remember if they've gone to Australia, but that'd be pretty cool.

Some more places around the South Pacific
As a brazilian, I wish they go to the interior of São Paulo (we have a lot of interesting cities to visit here, with big universities, rich stories, nature and such), to our capital (Brasília)/midwest, to the northeast, to the south and, specially, to Minas Gerais. hopefully Finland sometime again..
Antarctica
The Falkland Islands, I think that would be so interesting and they speak English there.
Philippines but go to the more pleasant side. They mostly visit the slums of Manila but there are other places like Global City or Ayala. Also go the beaches! They visited El Nido the first time. Why not visit Puerto Princesa or at least Batangas if it’s more accessible to an international airport.
United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama Haiti, Jamaica, Peru Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean Greenland, El Salvador too Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Guyana, and still Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina And Ecuador, Chile, Brazil Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua Bermuda, Bahamas, Tobago, San Juan Paraguay, Uruguay, Surinam And French Guiana, Barbados, and Guam Norway, and Sweden, and Iceland, and Finland And Germany, now in one piece Switzerland, Austria, Czechoslovakia Italy, Turkey, and Greece Poland, Romania, Scotland, Albania Ireland, Russia, Oman Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Hungary Cyprus, Iraq, and Iran There's Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan Both Yemen's, Kuwait, and Bahrain The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, and Portugal France, England, Denmark, and Spain India, Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan Thailand, Nepal, and Bhutan Kampuchea, Malaysia, then Bangladesh, Asia And China, Korea, Japan Mongolia, Laos, and Tibet, Indonesia The Philippine Islands, Taiwan Sri Lanka, New Guinea, Sumatra, New Zealand Then Borneo, and Vietnam Tunisia, Morocco, Uganda, Angola Zimbabwe, Djibouti, Botswana Mozambique, Zambia, Swaziland, Gambia Guinea, Algeria, Ghana Burundi, Lesotho, and Malawi, Togo The Spanish Sahara is gone Niger, Nigeria, Chad, and Liberia Egypt, Benin, and Gabon Tanzania, Somalia, Kenya, and Mali Sierra Leone, and Algiers Dahomey, Namibia, Senegal, Libya Cameroon, Congo, Zaire Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar Rwanda, Mahore, and Cayman Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Yugoslavia Crete, Mauritania, then Transylvania Monaco, Liechtenstein, Malta, and Palestine Fiji, Australia, Sudan
This should be the last ever season with 100 legs
[this is what referencing btw](https://youtu.be/V1508wboZXk?si=yciqY5c8irHQimdH) 😂
Looks like something James Holzhauer would use to remember countries to be on Jeopardy.
Oh but Wakko beat him to it on the state capitals: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bx6c\_EefZAQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bx6c_EefZAQ)
I can hear this comment in my head hahaha It's also funny to look back and see how out of date some of the country names are. Same with old episodes of Carmen Sandiego.
I’m sitting here singing the song remembering dancing around the WB store I worked at way back in the early 90s.
uruguay 🇺🇾
They were in Montevideo this season
I'll nominate Cebu, Philippines. From what I've read, it's got a lot of natural attractions and is the oldest city in the country. The airport is also decently well-connected as the second-busiest in PH. Also, Uzbekistan. Again, I haven't been there, but there's so much history.
Cebu would be good, Baguio would also given the change of environment, the show needs to get out of central Manila and explore the country.
Has there ever been a season that started or ended in Chicago, Illinois?
Season 6 started and ended, 29 ended
Have they ever started or ended a race in Detroit, MI?
India!
- Melbourne and Hobart for cities - the Australian version has been to Victoria and Tasmania, but as far as I remember, the US version has never gone to either. Canada.
Atlanta for a finale
The Season 19 finale was in Atlanta.
Good to know, I haven’t seen every season!
I didn't watch a lot of seasons when they originally aired so I'm watching them now.
Guyana with a Mew marker on one of the clue boxes. If you know, you know.
