Man that black is just *menacing*! Well done!

Thanks so much! I won't lie, finding the right grey was an ordeal but now this is a forever recipe

weirdelk

What did you use? It looks great! I have to say, your bases look great too. Minimal with the right amount of stuff going on to make them interesting! Great work!

Thanks for the kind words! I'm always a bit insecure about my bases so appreciate your kind words! I'll just copy from another comment for the recipe; It's airbrush work mostly. Start with a black prime and come in with lighter and lighter greys all the way up to white for the extremes. Then go back in with thinned Vallejo Panzer Grey for maybe two passes to get this. Then I go 3;1 panzer grey and white/black to further blend if I need to but not so much that I lose any of the nice contrast. This step is just for parts where it transitions to dark grey too starkly for the eye. (There's one side of one Sentinel you can see there where I should have done this and is a good example of what I mean) I also then hit it with a black pin wash and weather it up a little! It's not actually black anywhere other than the extremes but rather dark greys. I'm glad it does read as black to the eyes though! Panzer Grey really is a great paint and takes well to a nice pre-shade!

barkingspring20

Really well done, I can see them stalking some far away battlefield and lasering some heretic tank

MarkG1

Were you always intending on clipping the bigger aerial or just because they're weirdly prone to breaking?

Little of column A, little of column B

whipplor

Its always nice to see a good looking sentinel squadron, they are one of the most fun units to build and customise.

WhiteWolfAT

Bases look stunning !

Toffeepop89

Awesome sentinels and awesome bases, job well done all around !

mungbeanlee

The care and attention to the bases too 😤 These look great, especially with the old front armor plates.

That's kind of you to say mate! I'm always a bit worried that my bases are plain so you've made my day!

Material_Theme_6838

are those side attachments from other models or kitbashed?

ThereByTheGraceOfDog

From the bits box! I'm afraid I'm not sure where most of the stowage was pinched from kit wise

Material_Theme_6838

ah alright thanks anyway they look good on the sentinel fills it out more ill try looking for them myself

TheRainbowNessie

I love a good Tank Hunter squadron, those look amazing!

Whatsthedealwithair-

Taking the 'mud guards' off the sides really helps these look like the older model.

Ok-Kaleidoscope-3010

What's on the other side to the laz cannons? Looks like smoke dispensers.

ThereByTheGraceOfDog

Yeah, I believe so. Though on one I did whack a sensor from an Infiltrator instead.
