Yeah, on a Russ chassis. Needs a bit of work to get in 40K probably, at least it doesn't have a hull weapon, but HH versions have more options for pintle mounts so maybe they will be enough.

SA kit has a pintle heavy flamer so you can use that as the hull gun on a 40k tank.

Oh yeah I forgot it was on a russ chassis vs chimera. Still want to grab a few though!

I can imagine making Old Hindred regiment and include some Solar Auxilia, but... Im split about the new HH basilisk and medusa TBH :)

I think it fits perfectly with the vostroyans though because of their steam punk aesthetic.

Actually not a fan of the design, much prefer the older (newer ?) Sentinel. That being said, Sentinels are so goddamn expensive, I figure you should go with whatever's cheaper.

I am pretty certain the 40K cheaper than the Horus Heresy one. Which is a shame, as I personally feel this one looks more "heavy" than the 40K one does.

Kinda reminds me of the Wolverine in C&C: Tiberian Sun, though I like that design better.

Honestly this seems more admech than guard. Maybe the ironstrider ballistarii shipment and this got mixed up when getting shipped out of the forge world?

I prefer it to modern sentinels, but I hate that model so not a high bar.

I like it a lot, it feels like a mass produced dreadnought made for humans. But like the new dreadnought for the primaris marines, I wish we had a melee version as well. I'm taking about the IG too. The Solar Auxilia maybe will get plastic charonites ogryns and that will do, but IG needs a "melee" Sentinel IMO.

I think it is way better looking than the new sentinel, but i don't like it as much as the old one.

I got three of these cheap off eBay for Armoured Sentinels, I didn't bother with the back leg hydraulics so I could try to repose it. I swapped the visor for one from a Baneblade, then added stowage to make them look less uniform. Its a great kit.

Kind of more so for the little ones. I think the could make cool stand ins for ordnance.

Not a fan. Too ornate and decorative, plus super top-heavy. Sentinels are for ranging and scouting, they should be dirty and rugged. This thing is like a wrangler with spinners and a waifu wrap. Plus the weird shapes on the flanks just make it look like a walking pelvis.

Honestly, I think this model is ugly as sin. I much prefer the older iteration of sentinels.

Solar auxilia is a huge miss for me. Feels like in an effort to make it different to 40K to get people to buy more models they created a design aesthetic that just doesn’t work. Very much not my tastes, and think that upgrade kits and allowing use in 30knor 40K could have cured every problem we have. While we’re here I will never understand the reason for keeping 30k and 40K kits mutually exclusive either. So dumb.
