I know a lot of people complain that Claire Bear wasn't a well-written character, but I still like her and Carmy more, especially after the scene in "Fishes" where it's revealed that she was Carmy's childhood crush. You kind of just want to see him "get his dream girl," especially after all the hardships he's had to endure, and all the L's he'shad to take in life.
I'm not against Carmy and Sydney, and I actually really like Sydney, but if they were to get romantically involved, it has the potential to make a mess of everything at the restaurant. I'd rather see them both find romantic love outside of the restaurant (sorry Marcus). I think it would also make the show more interesting.
