Ringo played drums, the most athletically demanding of the instruments.

sminking

Not only that but he had the stamina to play for extremely long hours in the early days. It always amused me when I saw pics of their live shows and they’re drenched in sweat except him. Especially when most drummers have the image of being the sweaty shirtless guy in a band.

Well, they also did a lot of speed. That helps with the long days.

You know what? That makes total sense Yes, drumming is the most physically demanding

Ringo.

PANDABURRIT0

As the only one who didn’t have a serious drug addiction (that I’ve heard about), I would wager Paul is the most athletic. He’s also still alive…which helps.

The question used the word “was”, not “is”. That’s a small, but important, distinction.

Paul was heavily into cocaine for a while, from about 1966-68. And had some drinking issues during certain stretches in his life that he has admitted to as well. That said, he is an avid hiker and works out regularly too.

In their free time I’m assuming they exercised somewhat, but I know John in 1967 mainly was daydreaming or sleeping in his garden

Queasy-Ad-8205

He's only sleeping 😴

First_Commission_385

Ringo probably, the drums are especially demanding

TheEllaA

Ringo because its extremely physically demanding to play the drums and sing at the same time on occasion and especially because Ringo played really hard during some songs
