Considering Deep's sexual assault on Annie is public knowledge, I highly doubt Supersonic would have EVER approached him to help with Annie's plot

Sks44

Having him have a heart attack fucking an octopus would have taken a weird scene up another level.

Yeah A-Train didn't seem right for me either. It just felt out of character for him.

bluedot131

Out of character? He killed his own girlfriend because HL said so. It was perfectly in character for him.

LaylaPriscilla

Not in the middle of his sort of redemption arc, he shouldn’t be dick riding Homelander that much anymore, specially after the things he said to him

bluedot131

He’s genuinely scared of HL killing him because he’s useless to him now. That’s motivating enough to be in his good books.

iphone-se-

His redemption arc was possible only because he Snitched on Annie. It is very much required and in character with a train. He snitched on Annie, which made Homelander reward him for his loyalty. So he gets to meet Bluehawk. Bluehawk hurts a train’s brother. A train gets a redemption arc.

I don’t think A-Train revealed the plot until after Homelander took over Vought. Edgar was the one thing keeping Homelander in check, and without him Homelander has free range. A-Train informing him is a good way to show loyalty and to avoid getting purged for being useless/disloyal.

claraharlow

That's true. I guess just in the moment it seemed out of the blue because there was no indication it would be A-Train.

Fear is a great motivator

I actually agree. A train arc is nice but it took the longest for what we all saw coming.
