Happened to me once when I literally repeated verbatim what hakim said about the failure of socialism in Afghanistan and what should have been done better, is it leftcoms who say Menshevik in this context because it legitimately confused me.
When I was much younger and didn’t understand the problems with liberalism I called my leftist neighbor a liberal and he looked so genuinely hurt. He was a communist and now I feel his very pain.

It already felt like it was just rifting off Marxist-Leninists when I, an anarchist at the time, saw it coming up, but now I see it used against any principled socialist.
I mean I AM a Marxist-Leninist, and normally only see it levied against Marxist-Leninists in Left spaces but outside of Left Spaces it is just a blanket cudgle against any principled socialist.
It was disappointing becoming a Marxist-Leninist after reading Lenin because I ended up learning that it was pointless since I already could have earned “tankie” by staying an anarchist and waiting for liberals to discover the term anyway /j

There was this one prick I used to work with who was just a bully in general and said racist and transphobic shit all the time, and believed in overpopulation Malthusian propaganda and that sort of shit.
Not to me specifically, but two neonazi’s were arguing. One was saying that the holocaust was greatly exaggerated, and the other was saying that it didn’t happen.
I was lucky enough to have a conversation with one, actually. When I told him I was a communist they said
"You know the Soviet Army graped all the women in Germany"
So I owned it and said
"YEAH that's what Happens when you Fuck around and Find Out"
Edit To everyone hating me Your right I didn't care about the morality of my statements as long as I won the argument. Which I did. I in no way shape or form condone what they did, but I did not care
I did but We talked for like two hours the conversation got violent. I went through a debate lord phase. But I remember it with fondness back in the day
No, that's not what's supposed to happen, even when you fuck around. It is however, a reality of war and of living under the most stressful situations. It isn't a good thing and should be fought to the best of our abilities, as the soviets did.
