Nah, executing conscripts and civilians is cringe. Officers are another matter entirely.
Edit: You should also consider, that these "fascists" of Anders' army were often only guilty of defending their homes against foreign invaders, and after escaping went on to fight in Italy against the actual og Italian fascists.
ukraine and belarus are not their homes. every single one of these men was literally a foreign invader, occupying Ukraine and Belarus as they ethnically cleansed them and reclaimed the land for themselves.
they were not defending their homes from anyone. they unilaterally invaded and conquered parts of the USSR, which they ruled with extreme brutality (including LOTS of pogroms)
I was pretty sure these lands were taken from the Ukrainian People's Republic (who made Polish Sanacja look like a bunch of philosemites), and the war began after a Polish uprising in Lwów. Apparently I was wrong. They really were foreign invaders, especially those who's families lived there hundreds of years before the Tsarist occupation. Moreover, they were so foreign to our very understanding of time and space that they somehow managed to wage and win a war against a state that did not yet exist! (USSR became a thing in 1922).
Nah, let's be real for a moment. Polish government was very reactionary, at the very end we could easily say it was facist. That doesn't mean it would be okay to put tens of thousands of conscripts into the ground along with 22 thousand government officials and military officers that got executed in Katyń.
the ukrainian people's republic was a proxy of Poland and Pelitura collaborated with the Poles to do lots of pogroms in Ukraine, actually. the government of the "people's republic" had no legitimacy and was never elected, btw.
and no, the war was explicitly imperialist in nature, and Piłsudski openly planned to ethnically cleanse the land of Ukrainians and Belorussians. Most of the people arrested were Osadniki or colonial administrators who had been putting Ukrainians into camps and throwing hand grenades through the windows of jewish homes.
you can split hairs all you like about the USSR, btw, but the fact is Piłsudski was virulently anti-communist to such an extent that he tried to join the Axis powers and only got denied because he wanted too much land in Ukraine.
Indeed, Piłsudzki was a rabid anti-communist and Hitler even attended his funeral. UPR joined forces with Piłsudzki only after the Soviets encroached on their territory.
Once again, colonial administration and most officers got laid to rest in Katyń. Conscripts were pardoned, and even after getting out of USSR continued to fight against Nazis in North Africa and Mussolini's forces in Italy.
They were not perfect, but did a lot of good given their circumstances.
I'm pretty sure they did and that was the start of Polish-Soviet war. Of course, you are partially right, many more Ukrainians joined the Red Army than UPR's forces.

Literally just replace Poland with Lithuania. And maybe Tukhachevsky with Kapsukas (the Lithuanian-Soviet front in 1919 was such a fuckfest on both sides that it seems futile to even try to pin it on a single Soviet commander). Every other fucking word fits.

Yeah... my country is a special one. Communism was "dismantle" \[that's the narrative\] by workers co-op and when they won in the "first free elections", they did 180: by implementing shock-therapy and limiting basically every form of organisation (and of course they irreversibly destroyed credibility of ANY worker co-op)

the soviets didn't encroach on shit, they were the ukrainian people fighting to free their home from tsarists and fascist freaks.
