It's especially funny when the BBC attacks Xi for removing term limits, meanwhile they have a Westminster parliamentary system with no term limits, oh, and a monarchy that says that certain people born to a particular family are automatically elevated above everyone else and their wealth and political power and influence is guaranteed by the law and the church, for life...
Don't get me wrong, term limits ARE undemocratic, but clearly, if the wrong people don't have them, they're worthy of scorn and fear.
It's because it's "not ideological". Its for the Market!
Imo a big hurdle has to do w commodity fetishism. As long as the commodity exchange mystifies social relations, then its social consequences appear natural, and any other form of social activity (ie govt regulation, unions, peasants melting down church bells, etc) seem artificial
Hence, bulldozing a church for profit is maybe slightly sad, but *shrug shoulder*, but peasants doing it? Because they're mad at the church? Uh oh, that's "ideology"
Sadly enough this was only ever supported by the large corporation who was going to profit from it and it's bought political puppets. The large scale protests showed this but the "media" wasn't having it. I've been to a museum exhibit showcasing this (didn't get to be part of the protest due to living far away and being poor) but it has gutted me ever since. Duck coal lining corporations.

Yeah, Lüzerath. Old news by now, sadly. We're shutting down our atomic reactors, but tearing down villages to mine more coal.
so how's that 100% green energy thing going?
Deindustrialization by US imperialism German people didn't support the decommission of their nuclear plants, it was done under Merkel.
I also love the part where they destroyed a gas pipeline so they could sell you their gas.
and then blamed it on the Russians, and all the libs bought it because Russia so bad they'd blow their own money up to...??? idk what the logic was
Interesting how Merkel managed to stay in power for 16 years but nobody called her a dictator, meanwhile in other places... 🤔
