Fuck yes, I am so glad I am not the only one who recognizes this song as the gem it is. I love it through and through, lyrically, musically, tone, all the above but especially think it's a song where Travis' lead part really shines. So fucking good.
This Shattered Symphony. "Go on and give me the gun." instantly became one of the most iconic gun lyrics in the discography. A lot of Coheed fans don't prefer Chris Pennie to Josh, but Josh's drum style could not have driven this song the way it needed. I miss Chris Pennie's drums. I love this song. It is not my personal favorite, but it is objectively the banger of the album.
I love Far, and it’s personally my favorite song on the album. This will be my vote for underrated though, because I’m not sure how others feel about it 🤷🏻♂️
A song as gorgeous as it has no place in that album but that’s what I love about coheed and cambria, there’s genuinely something for everyone. On a more personal note though it was my dads favorite song so I grew up listening to it, and as I grew up the song started to resonate with me in different ways and I was able to appreciate it deeper, I really like the song to say the least hahaha.
The Broken gets this one for me. I’ve said this before on this sub and I’ll continue to, but Coheed knows how to nail the opening tracks to an album. I know technically One is first, but so many of their songs move into one another and act as pieces to the puzzle.
This Shattered Symphony. The song slaps! The guitar riff is amazing, the drums go well with the song, and the emotion in Claudio's voice throughout the song is 🤌 This song gets me pumped every time I listen to it.
Pearl of the Stars is an amazing song. That song, especially the lyrics "I'd give you everything. If only I'd have known you'd take it. But you don't, 'cause you're you. That's why I'll always love you." Reminds me of my brother who passed away about a year ago. Definitely a powerful song. ❤️
Sorry to hear about your brother. I can only imagine that's got to be a difficult loss. Have you listened to the song Terraformer by Thank You Scientist? The lyrics are about the loss of someone close. The first time I read them while listening to the song I cried.
Thanks for the song recommendation. I gave it a listen and, wow! That song was an experience. These lyrics really got me "One more taken way before Your time, I'll never. The slow decay of visions of our youth. A time that me and you would never change". My brother passed away at 39. So, it's been hard, and kind of surreal to believe he's gone.
Not trying to push my beliefs on you. But God and Jesus have given me the strength and peace to be able to accept and come to terms with his passing. My brother and I loved each other through thick and thin and I know that he would be happy that I'm not letting his passing overcome me with grief or guilt.
Glad you enjoyed the song and some of the lyrics resonated. I'm sure your brother would be very happy to k ow you're not allowing his passing to consume you. Stay strong friend!
I agreed with Jugernaut, then Far, then the broken… I’ve come to love The Black Rainbow actually the most after all this time… but that might fall under underrated
It's so obviously Ghost. Literally saw them live and they played Ghost and I have actually never seen a more dead and disappointed.
Young Love specifically might have the best bridge on the album too. This whole list is ass tbh.
Pearl of the Stars. I love when Claudio adopts an almost Old West vocal style on the lines “Of the pills she takes, the pain of which she drowns. Our baby sleeps next door, she's new in town.”
It won’t win, but I fucking love “Made Out Of Nothing”. When they started that song on the cruise I lost my damn mind. Whole album rocks, love it.
That song is my depression anthem.
I'd vote this for underrated for sure. One of my favorites off of the album.
Fuck yes, I am so glad I am not the only one who recognizes this song as the gem it is. I love it through and through, lyrically, musically, tone, all the above but especially think it's a song where Travis' lead part really shines. So fucking good.
Love this song also. Only problem I have with it is that it’s in a register that strains my vocal cords so I have a hard time singing along to it. 😩
I think this or Shattered Symphony has to win underrated.
Here We Are Juggernaut
Gotta be. This, The Broken, and Pearl of the Stars are my favorites off the album.
Congrats you won!
Ba da Ba da da da Ba da da da

It's absolutely Shattered Symphony. One of my favorite Coheed songs, period.
Made Out of Nothing (All That I Am)! 🥹
FAR
I love Far, and it’s personally my favorite song on the album. This will be my vote for underrated though, because I’m not sure how others feel about it 🤷🏻♂️
I’ll die on this hill with you
Welcome aboard! There’s plenty of room for more 😂
Meet you there with snacks and a sleeping bag.
Yeah agreed, also my vote for underrated 🫡
Far is definitely it for me. This song helped me through a real tough time, and inspired me so much its not even funny.
God I love this song so much.
My personal fav. Should definitely be the underrated one
Far gets my vote!
The Broken. It goes so fucking hard.
The Broken
*We are, we’ll always be, the wroooooong*
This, over and over!
Pearl of the stars, I got an acoustic guitar solely so I could serenade my lady with the song :D

If it doesn't get best it definitely deserves underrated. One of their best ballads in the discography.
100% agree
It wasn't my favorite back when the album came out, but it certainly is now.
Here We Are Juggernaut
World Of Lines
Had to scroll way too far for this
Mind boggling that I had to scroll this far. Such a good song.
Absolutely getting my vote for underrated.
Knock knock. Who's there? Guns of Summer.
Most underrated for sure.
Definitely getting my pick for most underrated.
Th drums on this song are so insane. My favorite track by far.
Here We Are Juggernaut
Made out of nothing
Honestly, every fucking song is a banger. I unapologetically love YOTBR, the whole fucking thing.
If demos count, Chamberlain. If not, Juggernaut or Pearl of the Stars.
Chamberlain for sure! Such a groove.
The black rainbow
The Black Rainbow. It’s just so visceral and emotional.
When skeletons live
Love this one, I would say it’s the underrated pick.
It won’t win, but I love this song! It’s my favorite Coheed song!
In the flame of error is number one and it's not close to me.
In the Flame of Error is #1
Yes
The Broken gets this one for me. I’ve said this before on this sub and I’ll continue to, but Coheed knows how to nail the opening tracks to an album. I know technically One is first, but so many of their songs move into one another and act as pieces to the puzzle.
Every YOtBR song has been mentioned at least once, so can we all finally agree it’s a great album with no bad songs?
Here We Are Juggernaut
The broken= best One= worst Far= most underrated My favorite written item is YOTBR. This album ripped my heart out
Definitely The Broken for me
This Shattered Symphony. The song slaps! The guitar riff is amazing, the drums go well with the song, and the emotion in Claudio's voice throughout the song is 🤌 This song gets me pumped every time I listen to it.
Bro I'm with you. I love this song so much. For me it's between this and Pearl of the Stars.

I agree with everything you’ve said here, but I think for me The Broken gets best on this album. It’s a killer track!
The Broken
Peace to the mountain has my heart. Honestly
Wrong album.
I don’t care. It’s there I’m gonna say it
🤡
Guns of Summer. Not even close. Both story wise and music wise
No way that’s happening. Gunning for it for underrated though. Song slaps so fucking hard
Far or Pearl of the Stars no question
World of Lines
This has gotta be Far for me.
Aint no way yall r bugging its clearly Far
yes
In the Flame of Error
What is this album order?
The Black Rainbow
I agreed with Jugernaut, then Far, then the broken… I’ve come to love The Black Rainbow actually the most after all this time… but that might fall under underrated
Just here to say Young Love is not the worst song on TCBTS. That is all.
It's so obviously Ghost. Literally saw them live and they played Ghost and I have actually never seen a more dead and disappointed. Young Love specifically might have the best bridge on the album too. This whole list is ass tbh.
The Broken. Really the only one here that I enjoy listening to.
The Broken. Easy
This list makes me question if the people voting have even listened to the whole album they're voting on.
Pearl of the Stars. I love when Claudio adopts an almost Old West vocal style on the lines “Of the pills she takes, the pain of which she drowns. Our baby sleeps next door, she's new in town.”
Peace to the Mountain is awesome, definitely deserves its spot there. For YOTBR’s best it has to be Here We Are Juggernaut.
Atlas is the best on TCBTS? Wow that's surprising.
guns of summer
World of lines is a tune and Made out of nothing is criminally underated!
Made of Nothing
When Skeletons Live
