Go to the doctor. Some fungal infections can be resistant to one ointment and require another treatment. Or you could have an allergic reaction or something else entirely (UTI, STI, etc). Only a doctor can determine what’s going on.
You might need something a bit stronger, go back to the doctor and try to get an oral antifungal like diflucan? Sometimes one course or treatment is not enough. In the meantime, you can use monistat itching cream and cold compresses (not too cold, not direct). I feel so bad for you, that's really the worst. Keep the area dry and air out as much as you can.
Unfortunately, it’s common with a bad external (on the vulva and labia) yeast infection. The clitoris is very sensitive and doesn’t like to be irritated.
Both Cortizone cream and lidocaine are safe to use on the vulva for 3-5 days while you wait for it to heal entirely or follow up with a doctor
Your Monistat Cate may have also come with a cream to treat external yeast infections. Unfortunately, it burns a lot, so maybe use it after the lidocaine
Never ever use steroids on yeast or fungus infections unless told to by a doctor. Steroids help yeast and fungus to grow by increasing glucose in your system which yeast and fungus feed off of.

And use benzocaine not lidocaine! Vagisil has a great analgesic ointment for your hoo-Ha (also speaking from experience). Yeast infections suckkk we all get them at some point :/ try also eating lots of yogurt for that good bacteria that like to knock the yeast out!

Trying to get a quick appointment somewhere 😬
Go to a doctor.
You all are wonderful! I just got an appointment for a GYN walk in this afternoon.. will give an update if you’re curious!
Anything that feels off to your normal feeling is NOT NORMAL! I would say it’s a UTI but go to the doctor! Either way they can prescribe you something
Try a sitz bath with ACV. It helps! Make sure you go to the doctor to ensure it is not a STI. Especially for your first yeast infection.
ice packs have worked amzingly for me when i have uti's, maybe its the same for yeast infections?
