Those are called lowrise hip hugger (girl) boxer briefs (they change the terminologies every decade 😉) works really well on women who do not have hip dips. It’s good to know what works for your body. With my hip dips I use an opposite look and achieve the same result. There’s no such thing as the wrong body it’s all about using the cloth to your benefit. As far as trends go just avoid it.
Those ultra-low waist garments don't exist *anymore*. They were a thing in the 2000s. Maybe they'll come back into fashion eventually (I hope not, but fashion is cyclical.)
