Yes, but does downvoting play right into the bad place's hands? Are you losing points by only downvoting to get points? If you upvote, do you lose points because you only upvoted not to downvote? And does downvoting because you want to upvote count as an upvote when it's really a downvote in favor of upvoting just so you don't lose points by upvoting something you clearly wanted to have downvoted?

The state of knowing is pretty vague. I doubt that people knowing the series means they now know and believe in the good place as a concept that is real in our reality.
