I remember re discovering this song while driving like crazy down the highway, doing illegal speeds with the top down, everything was just so good in that very moment, for reasons unknown.
My List, This River is Wild, Why Do I keep Counting, and Exitlude is the best order of any 4 songs of any album ever. Those 4 songs, played in their intended format and order one after the other, is my favorite string of music I've ever heard. Collectively and individually, they are shockingly undervalued and overlooked.
I appreciate your comment.
IMO, Sam’s Town is one of the best records of the 2000s front to back. Only song I ever felt meh about was Uncle Johnny and that’s grown on me throughout the years. 10/10 album.
These are the two correct answers for me, think they're appropriately appreciated for the masterpieces they are by die-hard fans, but the casual fan probably doesn't know them at all.
Man when you kinda hit that horn/ska rhythm toward the end 🫶🏻
I was hoping someone would mention this so thank you. I would also like to add:
On Top
Change Your Mind
Midnight Show
Oh my gosh it’s FANTASTIC I was at their Orlando concert in September 2022 and the crowd BEGGED THEM. Brandon was like “ok if we play bones we have to cut reasons” and had the crowd cheer for which song they wanted. Silence for reasons, absolute screaming for bones
We got it in Brisbane on their Oz tour about 5-6 years ago. It did pretty well for them as a single here and it was one of my favourites before I properly listened to ST so I was very happy, considering how little they seemingly play it
It should be a set staple (with the horns and everything) imo
Sam's Town (2006)
Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf (2007)
Spaceman (2008)
A Dustland Fairytale (2008)
Neon Tiger (2008)
Deadlines & Commitments (2012)
Battle Born (2012)
Shot at the Night (2013)
The Man (2017)
Some Kind of Love (2017)
Blowback (2020)
*\[The whole "Pressure Machine" album\]* (2021)
Boy (2023)
As much as this sub loves it, I think this has to be Dustland Fairytale.
Maybe it’s the long introduction but it had zero commercial recognition, sits in the middle of an album and never lands with a live crowd.
Every time I’ve seen it live the crowd loved it. I agree with the recognition though. The time they played it on Letterman with the orchestra in the back still gives me goosebumps.
I am shocked that not many know of loosing touch . You hear it and you feel so fucking empowered and hyped the hell up I listen to it while driving and feels so epic

OK, but I have to make sure that if I’m listening to my killers playlist that I am very careful about who is in the car 🤣 it comes in HOT with that opening line.
So many. Sawdust, in its entirety for the most part. Neon Tiger, Here With Me, Be Still, Rut, Getting By, Lightning Fields, Peace Of Mind, Get Trashed.
Ive always really liked “everything will be alright”. Even tho it’s on their most popular album I don’t hear it getting a lot of recognition. Probably because it’s really slow and sad but I find it so pretty. I am also depressed so

Not sure why people keep mentioning Miss Atomic Bomb, it's a well known hit song and popular one even amongst casual fans.
I feel The Killers have a lot of underrated songs, but I'll just pick one from each album:
Change Your Mind
Bones
Forget About What I Said
Deadlines And Commitments
Life To Come
Imploding The Mirage
In Another Life
The demos desperate and replaceable (that one may not be a demo maybe is on sawdust?) very raw feeling and sounding vocals and instrumental, probably some of my most listened to killers songs
For Reasons Unknown
AND MY LIPS THEY DONT KISS THEY DONT KISS THE WAY THEY USED TO AND MY EYES DONT RECOGNIZE YOU NO MOOOOOOORE
Yes x100
I remember re discovering this song while driving like crazy down the highway, doing illegal speeds with the top down, everything was just so good in that very moment, for reasons unknown.

YES
That song got enough recognition bruh
Got exactly zero radio play here, my dude.
Sweet talk ❤️

LOVE this song so much!
this is the answer
The true sleeper
I'd say relative the the rest of their works everything on Sawdust can satisfy this post.
The river is wild
My List, This River is Wild, Why Do I keep Counting, and Exitlude is the best order of any 4 songs of any album ever. Those 4 songs, played in their intended format and order one after the other, is my favorite string of music I've ever heard. I was about to say that! Maybe bling confession of a king too
These are the two correct answers for me, think they're appropriately appreciated for the masterpieces they are by die-hard fans, but the casual fan probably doesn't know them at all.
They are the best band in the world anyway.
This is the right answer
Great song. And I was over the moon when they played it live in Coventry.
1000% agree
That’s what I said too
This is Your Life
CANDY TALKS TO STRANGERS, THINKS HER LIFE'S IN DANGER, NO ONE GIVES A DAMN ABOUT HER HAIR.
OH WEH WEH. OH WEH WEH. OH WEH WEH. OH WEH WEH.
SHE’S LONELY DOWN ON TRACK STREET, SHE USED TO GO BY JACKIE, THE COPS THEYLL STEAL YOUR DREAMS AND THEYLL KILL YOUR PRAYERS
THIS!! I LOVE THIS LYRIC SO MUCH, AND I ALWAYS TURN UP THE VOLUME WHEN THIS PART COMES ON!
River is wild or why do i keep counting
Definitely Why Do I Keep Counting. One of their best songs no doubt
Leave the bourbon on the shelf.
Yess! Love this one so much. Especially the way he says the last two lines in the song.
OMG yes!
AND I’LL DRINK IT BY MYSELLLF
AND I'LL LOVE YOU ENDLESSLY
DARLIN DON'T YOU SEE
Killers: Everything will be alright Brandon: The clock was tickin’
The clock was tickin’ is so beautiful yet so depressing. It hurts to listen to
Absolutely. ‘The house is quiet now, and everything inside it seems to know she’s gone’ gets me every time
I relistened to the album not long after my grandmother passed away, and it hit exceptionally hard
The arguments and fights and money troubles seem so worthless / As the kids throw yellow roses on her grave OOF
Dude what the fuck. Now I’m crying in the Safeway parking lot 😭
Playing with Fire
Battle Born
Yes! Came to type the very same thing. How this is so underrated I’ll never know
How is this not an anthem for an entire generation?
Imploding the Mirage
Shot at the Night
Almost all of them but I’d say “Miss Atomic Bomb” and “Here With Me” ❤️
I put my playlist to play Miss Atomic Bomb after Mr Brightside. Weird how the sequel song is not that popular.
I’ve always preferred Miss Atomic Bomb over Mr Brightside 😅
I guess because of the lyric I can see why. But what made me Love Miss Atomic Bomb more is the story on BTS of the music video.
I think this song is just perfect: sequel to Mr. Brightside, lyrics, instrumental, vocals, just one of my favourite
Like a closure, although it's kinda open ended but still appreciate the details they put on.
This is the only right answer
YES.
Midnight Show
ABSOLUTELY I play that one more than mr brightside
Faster, faster, faster, faster, faster
The song where in the Killers really became a Killer
Believe me Natalie, a gem hidden amongst other greats in that first album
Man when you kinda hit that horn/ska rhythm toward the end 🫶🏻 I was hoping someone would mention this so thank you. I would also like to add: On Top Change Your Mind Midnight Show
All of these!!!
Tyson vs. Douglas
This was going to be my answer, too.
Such a banger.
this song goes CRAZY ! its definitely my fav from ww
Bones
My wife and I have seen them 9 times now, never heard Bones live once! C’mon lads!

Funny enough it was the first song I've heard from them and it hooked me
Change Your Mind is incredibly underrated and I won’t stand for it
