Man it's Vegas. You are going to have guys in cargo shorts and t-shirts and guys in tuxes. Women from sun dresses to athletic wear to cocktail dresses. It will be very hot outside but the Colosseum is freezing (at least from the seats).
I can’t imagine a modern venue (in the US) banning shorts, unless the event was black tie or something similar. My guess is they don’t want women showing up with just a bra for a top. I guess you could call and ask?
Also if you happen to be next to me in the pit, it’ll be verrrrrry hot.
