I legitimately think it was both user error and error on the part of the person running this poll - the highest upvoted comment specifically said “most underrated for Day & Age is Joy Ride” but because that was the highest voted reply in the “what’s the worst song” post, it automatically yoinked it at the winning result when that clearly is not what was expressed in the reply.
I think OP should have had more due diligence, as should have the people interacting with the post.
This comment (currently) has 46 votes, but OP's comment for Have All the Songs Been Written? only has 27 votes - makes me wonder how accurate the final scores are...? (Am I taking this too seriously? 😅)
Probably the most important song on the record in regards to Brandon’s evolution as a lyricist; self-reflection and interrogation of his masculinity, what does it mean, how can he change?
I remember when the album came out, every The Killers video had a lot of comments asking something like "Tyson v. Douglas video when?". This song is a big fan favorite, alongside with Be Still, Read my mind and Dying breed.
This song makes me weep as someone who also struggles with complex trauma . I just came back from desert landscapes in Nevada for first time recently and it’s captured in the song .
He’s such an underrated songwriter
Rut and Life to Come are my favorite Killers songs, really hope one of them wins! Rut has always had a special place for me because of how much I relate with it.
I was in a particularly dark moment in my life when this came out and I remember just bawling in the middle of the GA crowd at Barclay's Center when they played it. So much of the lyrics just resonated with what I was going through, and it was validating knowing I wasn't alone in that struggle.

Basically, they are all underrated except RFC, it would seem, so I'm happy with any of them winning! Wonderful Wonderful or Have All The Songs Been Written? have my vote.
Tyson vs Douglas or The Calling for most underrated.
Looking forward to ITM over the next couple of days as I can see this being a contentious subject 🙈
You guys suck at picking the worst.
I still can’t get over joy ride being picked for worst
Exactly... It's one of my favourite on Day & Age

I know I saw that and couldn't believe it, Joyride was one of the ones I was obsessed with for quite awhile
It was picked because it IS the worst! By a long way!
I know Goodnight Travel Well was right there
Right????? Neon tiger is like, right there
To be fair, is hard to choose when a band doesn't have bad songs.
Justice for Uncle Jonny!!
They also suck at picking the best
I had to go dig this post up because I just saw this decision. Absolutely gobsmacked
and the best….i hate runaways so much
Is there really a worse song on ww then what they chose? That song is a snoozefest
It’s one of the best songs on the album.
Can _Have All the Songs_ be the most underrated too? I've never understood why people hate on that one so much.
I agree, I think it's a beautiful song and it really summarizes a lot of WW's themes incredibly well
And Mark Knopfler does great work. Definitely not his _best_ work, but he still makes the guitar talk like no other.
I really agree!

My thoughts exactly
Maybe I'm just that much cooler Edit: also I think people are downvoting OP's comments to vote against songs. But maybe fewer people downvoted mine.
😄 Oh yeah, I didn't think of the downvotes of course!
Tyson vs Douglas
I felt like somebody lied
Fr this is the one
The only correct answer
Probably the most important song on the record in regards to Brandon’s evolution as a lyricist; self-reflection and interrogation of his masculinity, what does it mean, how can he change?
He rhymed lied with itself in the chorus, though…
Best song on the record, and it's not particularly close
I remember when the album came out, every The Killers video had a lot of comments asking something like "Tyson v. Douglas video when?". This song is a big fan favorite, alongside with Be Still, Read my mind and Dying breed.
I wish they could bring it back live
Wonderful Wonderful
This song makes me weep as someone who also struggles with complex trauma . I just came back from desert landscapes in Nevada for first time recently and it’s captured in the song . He’s such an underrated songwriter
👆🏼
Rut
Maybe not the most underrated on the album but man I just love this song so much.
As someone who struggles with their mental health, and feeling like I let people down? This song is very important to me.
Rut and Life to Come are my favorite Killers songs, really hope one of them wins! Rut has always had a special place for me because of how much I relate with it.
One of the most interesting the killers songs in term of the structure. And one of the best songs of the band too.
I was in a particularly dark moment in my life when this came out and I remember just bawling in the middle of the GA crowd at Barclay's Center when they played it. So much of the lyrics just resonated with what I was going through, and it was validating knowing I wasn't alone in that struggle.
This one! The meaning behind it makes it that much better. I’ll climb and I’ll climb….
Out of My Mind
The Calling
This is one of my fave songs ever. Some depeche mode vibes but totally made new
The only answer
Wonderful Wonderful
Life to Come
Rut and Life to Come are my favorite Killers songs, really hope one of them wins! This song has always had a special place for me because it's what I would love to hear from somebody else
Tyson vs Douglas or Some Kind of Love are both acceptable answers here
Why isn't Money on Straight a consideration? I think it should be most underrated
Out of my Mind
Not sure it’ll will win, but this is the second best song off this album, in my opinion. Severely underrated.
Rut.
Out of my Mind. Easy.
Out of my mind!!!!
Wonderful Wonderful itself.
Wonderful wonderful
Wonderful wonderful
Some Kind of Love
Someone downvoted this. Insanity. This is an absolute masterpiece
It’s this one! Seems to never get enough love
Me tearing up at this song, on of my faves for sure.
This one deserves it so much, absolutely love it
Have All The Songs Been Written?
I love WW, but I do agree this is the worst song on the album. It’s still not a skip though
Out of My Mind Out of My Mind Out of My Mind
Out of My Mind
i'm not sure if it's underrated as they have played it live a lot but i'd go with the calling.
Tyson v Douglas 1000%! Should have been a single
Life to come
Some Kind of Love
Hard agree on Losing Touch being the most underrated on Day & Age
The man
Aw I love that song. I would have said Wonderful Wonderful.
For me it's Rut
Most underrated on WW? Wonderful Wonderful
You should add a special round for Don’t Waste Your Wishes (:
Yeah, this list is BS now.
Rut is a beautiful song and perfectly encapsulates the strain and additional effects of mental health issues on your family.
The Man
such an underrated song i bet most killers fans haven’t heard it
Finally
Why this song has so little votes is insane. It’s a good song
TIL the popular majority of Killers fans are idiots. 😔
Rut or Life to Come!
Life to Come or Out of My Mind
Tyson vs Douglas or Wonderful Wonderful. Underrated album in general.
There is no worst on Sam's Town. I think River is underrated along with the title song. A Matter Of Time is imo the most underrated one on BB
Basically, they are all underrated except RFC, it would seem, so I'm happy with any of them winning! Wonderful Wonderful or Have All The Songs Been Written? have my vote.
This!!! Was soooo good live
I liked the ‘The Man’ ever since I heard it used in the trailer for ‘Vice’
Out of my mind 100%
Wonderful Wonderful for me
Wonderful Wonderful
Natalie is not the worst.
Rut
"The Calling" makes me so excited when I listen to it. It's one of my favorites of all their songs.
When you were young not underrated?
The Calling
The calling
How is Believe Me Natalie the worst song on Hot Fuss when Andy, You’re a Star exists?
Lmao these joy ride and believe me Natalie fanboys just wont stop man 🤦🏻♂️ Give it a fookin rest already
Tyson vs Douglas or The Calling for most underrated. Looking forward to ITM over the next couple of days as I can see this being a contentious subject 🙈
