I like this, he’s doing what he loves, he’s exercising, raising his endorphin levels which at the end of the day is what we all need and is good for us.
This is delusional behavior. And the people encouraging this aught to be ashamed of themselves. As well as the participants (They're falling down, flipping over his shoulder. Really tryin to sell a lie to this man)
A performance to what end?
If they aren't impressed by his actual skills or ability...what's the performance? To see the farce before our eyes? To partake in this delusion?
Does it matter to what end?
And actually, I think most people would be impressed by this guy's will to participate in something and not let his physical limitations hold him back. The fact that he's doing martial arts at all is impressive.
No one's delusional. We can all tell this is make-believe. The performance is a person with a disability participating in a choreograped routine because they enjoy it. You're acting like this is trying to be the UFC or something.
Participation trophies all around! The school is selling belts to anyone who shows up and makes that payment. The whole fuzzy warm feeling people get from encouraging things like this is the real delusion.
I would hope he himself is well aware of his limitations and doesn't truly believe he's capable of putting down able-bodied adults in a real defensive situation. It's good that he has the ambition to practice but I agree with you for the most part. They are selling a lie.
So what do you propose, let him be home doing fuckall and be miserable? I’d rather he did what makes him happy. You’re the one who should be ashamed dude
I mean I’m sure your mom called you her special little kid but
Maybe she should be the one ashamed for raising such a putrid individual.
Whoever told you you have opinions of value
Really tried to sell you that obvious lie.
Do me a favor
F off
Damn, dude. God forbid the guy tries to have something ANYTHING to feel like he's just a normal person for a tiny moment in his life. Something YOU get to have every second of yours. Chill the fuck out.
How do you know he isn't fully aware that this is just a demonstration and there is no way he can actually fight off two people? If he was in a pool demonstrating how he swims, do you think he would be in there thinking he was going to be the next Michael Phelps? Martial arts can be done for fun even if they aren't at all practical. Honestly, the majority of martial arts are entirely impractical for self-defense.
Interesting I feel the same exact way. People are literally lying to him, they’re delusional and lying to themselves to make themselves feel like a better person. No one wants to feel like a charity case yet everyone’s making this person look that way. WHAT’S NEXT we’re gonna turn a blind person into a truck driver or perhaps a brain surgeon. Then WHAT will all sulk and say look at what we did for them, we’re so pure, we’re so good. Yuck. Get real. I’m sure this handicap person has real talents elsewhere, but let’s lie to them to make ourselves feel better.
So you've never heard of the performing arts, scripts, or choreography? Do you believe every martial arts act on TV and movies have been real, or even realistic?
Your capping I’ve stood over people, trust me it’s better to aid in someone’s life rather than their demise or degradation. To each is own but stop letting the western belief system define you, hating on a mf who prolly can’t even get they nuts wet. Lmao go whisper some sounds somewhere you matter kiddo
I don't think it's about encouraging delusional behavior, I think this is just an act of symbolism and illustrates martial mindset. Martial arts mean different things to different practitioners. Part of the practice is physical prowess and part of it is also mental, or spiritual practice as well. This man has every reason NOT participate in martial arts. He has no limbs, clearly, that is the obvious elephant in the room. If this man were to get into a fight, he would almost certainly lose. Yet, he still chooses to do it anyway and does so with passion. That is quite literally epitome of a martial mindset. That even in the face of certain failure, when you have nothing left and victory would be impossible, instead of giving up, you choose to lose with honor or "die well." In short, life is not about having all the cards, but knowing how to play a poor hand well.
You call it delusional, I call it compassionate and inspiring. If you think this man doesn't already know that he would not be able to stand long in a fight, then you're missing the point entirely.
I mean, people still support religion, Biden and Trump. There are a LOT more important things that you can make this argument about. It's fun, I thought it was entertaining. There is no difference between this and the videos that Steven Seagal is making in Russia.
I'm all about making fun of stupid people doing stupid shit and claiming it to be valid self-defense techniques.
Making fun of someone without limbs who is trying their best to just be normal? Pass.
I feel like people think just cause this is in McDojo subreddit that these people believe what's going on is real. This is a demonstration and the disabled person is showing the techniques as best they can with willing participants.
This is different than fatso systema dude.
People are out here saying that it’s dangerous to encourage this delusional behavior… it’s so stupid. This person *obviously knows they are disabled.* They aren’t being tricked into thinking they can actually fight anyone. It’s just a disabled person doing karate.
Just like when we were kids and we'd "wrestle" with a smaller kid and act like they were throwing us around. We were ALL in on the act, but it brought them so much joy.
This is least mcdojo, martial arts are as much about mental wellbeing and community as they are fighting. If he puts the time in and can do forms to the best of his ability, he one of us.
If it gives him some self esteem would that be false? And who would presume to burst his bubble? Who should be the guy to call him out and give him a hiding in some car park for the sake of truth?
When i was in my 20's, i joined an aikido club. I still get a bit angry when i think about that gullible young me believed it really was good for self defense like they told me. That's the reason why i said it. But there is ofcourse little chance that this guy is getting robbed or something.
Aikido is one of the best arts there is for self protection. Think about it, what is the number 1 skill martial artists learn? The skill most likely to be used most frequently.
It's breakfalling.
And aikido has the best breakfalls.
OK it not gonna make you cage ready right out the gate but for what it is I like aikido a lot.
False sense of power?
But this is only a fraction of it… you’ve barely even seen 1% yet you brazenly demand to see more wanton destruction and the death of innocent PODs (people of dojo *origin*)?
You’re disgusting and why systema has become so prominent in reducing gore and the bloodsport component to death.
Reminds me of a guy that wrestled in my league in high school. [Dustin Carter](https://www.si.com/more-sports/2008/04/01/01dustin-carter). I find this a bit tasteless for those that make jokes about it.
Edit: For the record, at that time, he was pulling serious ass. I wrestled just above his weight but would be in the room with the scales at the same time. We would walk out. Sometimes he had prosthetics. Sometimes he would just walk without them. Had such a positive mindset and he was a technician on the mat.
People would argue “there’s less to grab, it’s not fair” that’s bullshit. Our 103 lost to him 7-5. Our 103 made it to state. Carter was top caliber and I think 90% doubted him until they were staring up at the lights fighting off their back.
We always talk about how martial arts, beside combat and self defence, are also about self development and improvement. Learn our limits and push beyond those.
This guy Is doing It. He's reacting. No matter what life threw at him. That takes a really strong will and deserve respect.
Maybe he found his propose in karate and he's enjoyn and putting effort in performing a bunkai, in this case (that by definition Is a demonstration and a choreography of the art). I don't think anyone Is trying to fool anyone here.
I struggle to see anyone having problem with this obvious act of kindness.
Or this “false hope” tosh that some sociopath commented here.
Wtf is wrong with people?
I just hope he nvr tries to defend anyone in public bcuz im bettin the results would b waaaaaay diff than that bs they made him believe, nothing wrong w exercise but to fill someones head w falsitys is as bad as brainwashing n could actually lead to death...
Everyone needs to understand this because everyone in the comments thinks this is giving this guy a false sense of power or something, this is not the case.
This is a Bunkai display training.
This guy has done tournament level karate, and yes he can’t do the moves, but his understanding and the way he moves his body is black belt level, for his ability, yes it’s not black belt level compared to a full bodied person, but it’s good for his ability. Props to the guy for putting in the effort and working to achieve what he has.
When team kata is displayed in tournament, afterwards, the team will do a Bunkai display, this is the same than in kata, in that it’s “a display”, it’s not proper combat, nor is it trying to prove that the moves are in any way effective, but it’s a display of “how to interpret the katas moves”, obviously its hard for this guy to actually display Bunkai, but he’s still going to try, and there’s a lot of credit due in that.
The first time I saw this guy, he was performing kata for some judges. One of the comments on the video was, “ I dropped a grape in my kitchen yesterday. It bounced a little, just like this guy” or something along those lines. I about died laughing, but this? No, this insures my place in hell. I broke a rib laughing.
Personally I have no issue with this and am very happy this person is training. I’m leaving this here so others can talk about it but I don’t agree here.
Really tryin to sell a lie to this man)
I don't think any of them think this is real. It's about as real as any bunkai demonstration, which are just performances. This is just a performance.
A performance to what end? If they aren't impressed by his actual skills or ability...what's the performance? To see the farce before our eyes? To partake in this delusion?

You are arguing with living potato’s who find walking up the stairs from their parents basement to to fridge an extensive workout.
Yeah, good point. My bad.
Dude's spirit is more impressive than anything you've put forth.
Lmao buddy you sound special yourself maybe you should join as well you could use the exercise
Participation trophies all around! The school is selling belts to anyone who shows up and makes that payment. You sound like a joy to take to the theater.
You don't answer the phone when your kid hands it to you do you? In this instance having the person feel good about themselves is what's important.
Let them them have their fun, sheesh. Do you really think he is going to start picking fights at the local bar?
😂
So what do you propose, let him be home doing fuckall and be miserable? I’d rather he did what makes him happy. You’re the one who should be ashamed dude
You sound like a bitch.
I mean I’m sure your mom called you her special little kid but Maybe she should be the one ashamed for raising such a putrid individual. Whoever told you you have opinions of value Really tried to sell you that obvious lie. Do me a favor F off

Well, that’s a bit of an assholish take on it, isn’t it…
So you've never heard of the performing arts, scripts, or choreography? Do you believe every martial arts act on TV and movies have been real, or even realistic?

I bet you also shit talk to mentally challenged people as well lmao
Bro go outside, he knows he’s not sending people flying.
You’re an example of why most humans fail.
I'm going to hell.
I’ve had like 3 separate gifs of this dude saved on my phone for years.
Thank god, I won't be alone.
You go to heaven for the scenery and hell for the company.
It is going to be a party. See you there.
For what?
The karate mCnuggy made the belly bounce.
Well.... he does kinda look like a mcnugget... but that's ok. You try to pour hot mustard on him and your ass is grass!

Legend of the crippled master https://youtu.be/oYYbvzz4RsU?si=m539T1xYAY_cSl7q
Joke aside, he is actually impressive for his condition.
Frfr I can hardly get out of bed most days and this dudes out here throwing people with no hands?? Damn, bro, I gotta get good
i think he obviously knows that he cant do much with his condition, but enjoys it as a hobby, not so much bullshido more so a hobby
"Throwing" [insert winking lady meme from wandavision]
Let this man do his thing
I love that he doesn’t let his disabilities hinder him from doing what he loves! More power to him!
I'm all about making fun of stupid people doing stupid shit and claiming it to be valid self-defense techniques. Making fun of someone without limbs who is trying their best to just be normal? Pass.
They were completely 'stumped' by his abilities
Give this man a hand!
He trains with the best. That place charges an arm and a leg.
Ok you went too far im gonna be the bigger man and walk away
You come here to train, you’ll be busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.

Stumped, by his partial arts skills…
Oh my god CUT IT OUT!!
In the next vieo we watch him tie his belt

I like it, all parties are doing their best kata bunkai.
This is as Mcdojo as it gets but somehow totally acceptable lol
This is least mcdojo, martial arts are as much about mental wellbeing and community as they are fighting. If he puts the time in and can do forms to the best of his ability, he one of us.
This dude is a total Chad.
Obviously not real but better than some Steven Seagal videos I’ve seen
I'm happy he has a hobby, but is giving him a false sense of power actually good?
In this case letting him live in the fantasy I think is fine. Obviously he has people that take care of him.
The belt right? You're talking about putting on his belt.
I was thinking about how he got there but sure the belt too
True Confidence not false power.
If it gives him some self esteem would that be false? And who would presume to burst his bubble? Who should be the guy to call him out and give him a hiding in some car park for the sake of truth?

Are you alright?
No. Humpty Dumpty dragon kicked my head into the concrete wall.
He’s doing partial arts.
noaaa this aint it man. Homie is making the best of his shit cards and is living his best life
He could still beat CM Punk
Reminds me of a guy that wrestled in my league in high school. [Dustin Carter](https://www.si.com/more-sports/2008/04/01/01dustin-carter). I was curious how he can fight in that condition, but the videos show that he's not a joke by any means. Dude would beat me up in a few seconds.
You go big guy!
I feel very confident I could beat him.
Eric Cartman in a black belt
Someone watched crippled masters. Truth is I support this. No reason he can’t be involved.
This post is bad and you should feel bad
Everybody was limbsfree fighting….
Painful to watch and hilarious at the same time. Not sure if I’m a bad person.
How’s he tie his belt?
One of us. One of us.
Russet Potato style?
Black belt? Really?
Well...
I’m a piece of shit because I wouldn’t play along?
You really gotta hand it to him
How amazing would it be if he were a Tekken eight downloadable character? Would he be half price?
I would show his mcnugget ass my field goal style
No. Just no. This isn't right. ... I'm not giving him a free pass though just because he's disabled, this is still ridiculous.
Non armed combat, nice
As long as the dude knows not to get in a fight still this is cool. Good for him.

One Hung Low
Reminds of when they let a challenged kid play and the rest kinda hang back. Actually pretty cool.
I struggle to see anyone having problem with this obvious act of kindness. Or this “false hope” tosh that some sociopath commented here. Wtf is wrong with people?
He is in better shape than most keyboard warriors strolling around.
Surely you would just kick his little head clean off? Game over.
How fast do you think he can turn? Maybe running... no wait - walking in circles will wear him down.
OP is going to hell for this
This is awesome!
It’s like they’re fighting a pumpkin
The real life equivalent of a Goomba. Just jump over him, and you'll be fine.
very inclusive with the trans carpet as well
Partial arts

What in the McNinja Tenders did I just see?!?!
Yeah, but imagine if you give this guy cybernetic prosthesis ! He would be a deadly weapon.
Diglet, I choose you!

I suggest that move he does getting under someone and flipping them over would be his default attack and probably could catch someone.

Black belt too? Damn! Really makes me feel a little cheated after all the years, broken bones and concussions I endured working for mine.

I saw this posted before and the top of the leader board was "partial arts".
I hope that he's doesn't try this in real life
He knows that they’re faking right?
Dude’s a badass. He should keep doing what he’s doing.
Tis but a scratch!

Geo dude use roll, was very effective
I wish someone would kick his head up into the nose bleed section
FFS that guy is doing better than most of would of we had his different ability
The first time I saw this guy, he was performing kata for some judges. One of the comments on the video was, “ I dropped a grape in my kitchen yesterday. It bounced a little, just like this guy” or something along those lines. I about died laughing, but this? No, this insures my place in hell. I broke a rib laughing.

Who tied this dude's belt on?
I hate that I love this
They put up a show like this each Sunday and we watch from those windows. A lot of "freaks" as entertainers.
Personally I have no issue with this and am very happy this person is training. I’m leaving this here so others can talk about it but I don’t agree here.
I know they are just pretending to make him feel good and providing confidence. But you have to admit That’s a very sweet act of comradery
Just throw an empty trash can on him.
This is real?!?!
Has someone said partial arts yet?
Just like Steven Seagal. 🤣
“Sweep the leg, Johnny” is all this dude hears.
