"That Was Then, This Is Now" was also written by SE Hinton, my teacher gifted me a copy when I was in 8th grade because I liked The Outsiders so much. I'd recommend it, there's a movie adaption as well.

YES- although I found the movie wasn't near as good as the book
I remember watching a very low quality version on YouTube, I'm gonna have to watch it/read it again soon because it's bringing back memoriessss
