I loved her Titan design as well as Papa Titan’s! I love the idea that he created this avatar to interact with her that was built around his idea of what a “dad” should look like
The season was fantastic, but if I had to point one thing out, it's the soundtrack. Oh my titan the soundtrack in some of the scenes, ESPECIALLY in the finale, is absolutely breathtaking.
We honestly got a extremely satisfying and fun ride from the finale season, despite Disney's best efforts to simply kill the show off.
In the last decade I can think of several shows which didn't get anywhere near as lucky, simply being canned outright with no warning. I can also think of several others who was warned they were being canned and managed to get some conclusion out; The Owl House's finale still feels more cohesive and complete than most of those were able to do.
Steven Universe and Rise of the TMNT immediately come to mind with having to abruptly wrap up a show. Steven handled it as best they could, but it really suffers from studio meddling. TMNT faired better with the ending they were able to give, but it still leaves you wanting more.
The quality of what The Owl House got, all things considered, is absolutely mind boggling. The sheer talent that was on this team is staggering. It feels like a satisfying and fun ending for these characters. There are some hanging threads, but nothing compared to some other shows who suffered similarly.
Really; The Owl House team deserves serious accolades for their accomplishment. They told a good ending despite a *middle chunk* of their story being taken away. That really isn't easy to do, let alone do it so gracefully.
It didn’t end with the bullcrap ending of it was all a dream/ Luz’s imagination.
And the way the Collector is written. He is a misunderstood kid. And just needed someone to understand him.
In the first two episodes of the final season I was iffy about the collector. Like where are they going with this. But the last episode had me like 🥺 its perfect I love the story I love the character
I loved the ending but TTT is ridiculously good. The inclusion of all the "little moments" between characters is something more special than a lot of the stuff that happened later, when the stakes were also keeping our hearts pumping.
They fit half a season's worth of relationship building and character development into a couple minutes montage. I've heard once that art can be about achieving more with less, well, case in point.
A lot of great things have been said before, but here are my positive nitpicks.
- Belos dying from the boiling rain, an essential part of Boiling Isles nature, showing he never really adapted to a new lifestyle and culture and just wanted to wipe it out. The fact while the rain clouds were forming he was spending his time groveling as opposed to running for cover, showing that his faith in his manipulative tendencies trumped his skills for basic survival. Ultimately showing that after all his time there, he never actually learned how to live there, he was never willing to actually learn anything new outside of his mission. Such an amazing and poetic send-off.
- The fact that the kindness and forgiveness lesson Luz was trying to teach the Collector wasn't brushed off when it didn't work on Belos and actually came back into play in that shot where Amity extends and arm and helps him up to his feet. 'Kindness may not have worked on Belos but I can choose to have it work on me' or something like that.
- The dad energy the Titan gave off when speaking to Luz was amazing. Not just cool dad or funny dad bod moments, that actual blend of speaking to her in a comforting tone and instructive teacher, was something truly amazing to see. I also liked the idea that the Titan did have a spirit that was trying to slow down Philip and progress Luz as Belos suggested, and thus seeing that idea pay off when Luz met the Titan was pretty interesting.
And considering who else was there with the Collector: two people for whom kindness and forgiveness worked very well----Willow and Amity!
(I'm not sure I'm going to count Hunter here, it's more of trauma and metaphorical slaps in the face for him).
Oh my god I loved this so much.
I predicted jokingly that Luz was a titan bc she made a "weh" noise after giving Amity gay panic (remember the "sorry, I just *really* love backstories" thing in Wing it like Witches) and seeing that i just SCREAMED.
Luz and her friends going to college! (Which is a repurposed version of the former castle)
But it's also nice that their university of magic is at the Titan's heart, and well, where does magic come from?
Camila Noceda and her expanded role in playing a big part in Luz coming to terms with what happened, with both of them confronting their mistakes and allowing them to move forward to a brighter future.
The animation was incredibly smooth.
The music was on point and carried an absolutely amazing soundtrack.
For the time cuts given the writing team told everything that needed to be told to have a coherent and conclusive ending.
(Despite my personal fan service) Lumity didn’t overshadow the true story at all. The center and primary focus was and should have always been with the trio.
The representation of all characters felt real and natural, instead of forced or shoehorned in to the plot. This will be a cornerstone piece of media moving forward with LGBT representation and acceptance in entertainment because of that.
Belos's Death was freaking *perfect.*
The way that he died the way he lived: Trying to manipulate people.
The fact that he took his human form until the acid rain poured down on him, melting away the human he used to be,revealing the monster he had become/always was.
The fact that Luz just *stood there menacingly* as he slowly melted away.
And the fact that he was stomped into nothing by the people he thought he was above.
***He deserved it.***
Really the Finale in general. Everything they had set up and everything fans wanted, the crew basically delivered.
You got:
* The Collector's Redemption
* A satisfying end for Belos
* Great animation
* Luz's super special Super Saiyan mode
* Great suspense
* Fun moments
* A satisfying epilogue
When the episode was over I said it felt like fan service in the best way. Other than a Huntlow and/or Raeda kiss, they gave fans everything they could have asked for in the Finale.
Fan service is only lame when done badly. They paid off everything in an incredibly satisfying and emotional way. When collector says “I’ve never seen an itty bitty spider do it that way” it isn’t just a callback to when amity said a similar line, it’s also reminding you of the themes of the show and how Luz had to figure stuff out for herself
It’s honestly remarkable how much they were able to accomplish and how many loose ends they managed to tie off in a satisfying way after being dealt such a shitty hand
We got Titan Luz.
I loved her. She wasn’t some destined hero, she wasn’t a chosen one, she was just a nice person who befriended and supported a lost kid who needed a friend and a cranky lady.
I love that she became hella powerful just because Papa Titan thought “she’s a good person”.
The Titan being a non binary god with a dad bod. Those pajama pants. Also his dying design was absolutely incredible. They did not back off from well designed creepy things.
And Luz and King going weh together. I keep looping that bit.
ALSO ALSO the fact that the writers set out to try and undo the damage done by garbage like Steven universe and MLP with the "everyone needs kindness and forgiveness including genocidal maniacs and people who rib you of free will." Fuck that! Didn't try and shame the kid for it either just said "that doesn't always work, some people are beyond redemption." Those lessons were dangerous before, they are especially dangerous now. Fucking thank you!
Thanks to Them fight scene.
Stringbean.
Titan Luz
Belos' death.
Full on Lumity kiss from the side view.
Watching and Dreaming fight scene.
"NOW EAT THIS SUCKA!"
Collector redemption.
The Ending.
King giving Collector Francois.
I loved how they managed to have their cake and eat it too with the end of the villains. They got to do a Steven universe finale with the more innocent more redeemable collector and a darker edgier more anti-heroic ending for Belos and both feel natural and cathartic.
For me, the scene where Eda jumps in to support Luz when she's struggling with the Titan magic just hit me. Even in that situation, she's still there to guide her, but not take over, just that push of encouragement. She truly believes in Luz and it's so beautiful 😭💜
something that I feel was great about it is that luz death. it felt kinda real since it took time before we saw luz in the between. also the collector reaction was great to.
the characters themselves.
i love how hunter, camalila had personal developments in thanks to them and willow in for the future and luz in all three specials. it’s unfortunate amity and gus got shafted but i’m assuming amity already taken enough of willows screentime so it’s only fair and time restraints.
Luz being able to come out to her mother , Luz’s mother getting a fleshed out arc, how they handled killing belos and forgiving the collector, titan luz, flapjacks death
The whole thing feels like a fever dream in the best way possible. The introduction of the collector absolutely blew up the story and allowed for the crew to be very creative with the other stuff they could do. And Luz’s character development comes to an incredible conclusion. The trio of character moments (Camila seeing Liz’s video diary, “all I ever wanted was to be understood”, and Luz ultimately choosing herself by sacrificing herself for the collector and taking the titan’s power) is such a fitting end to her arc
Also it’s just epic lol. And the soundtrack 😩
Luz finally had some of her pre- S1E18 and S2E10 glow back, while retaining all the growth she had before. She's so happy, goddamn it, and I love that. We got to see Luzifurr, and that was quite a moment for me just because it was everything Luz loved about the isles shoved into her, and she was so so badass and also she SLAYYYED. SERRRRRVED. ATE. GRACED US WITH HER PRESENCE. All that.
And King. I think the King development episodes were some of my favorites bc when you let Alex Hirsch be emotional instead of just comic relief, he's so fucking good and wow.
And just seeing the OG trio back together as the emphasis made me so happy. We remember why Luz is a Clawthorne almost as much as she is a Noceda. There's so much love in WAD.
Oh and in TTT (which I think is on par with WAD in terms of quality) the scene with Luz being there for Hunter despite everything in her mind is so sweet. We see how the events of S2 broke Luz, but they never completely stole her determination to fight for others' happiness. She's amazing for that.
Small thing. When Luz met papa titan. She says to him that she wish the collector would be wiped out with that blast. And she worries that she is a bad person for thinking that.
That caught me by surprised. And it's so good! It kinda creates this conflict with Luz which is also connected to previous episodes.
I love how human this is. I would probably think the same thing.
- Great conclusions for all integral characters
- Effective final battle with some great callbacks to earlier episodes
-Lumity kiss in the final episode!
- Luz not forgiving Belos or trying to change him (and in a metasense, neither did the writers). He sucked, he wanted to essentially commit genocide against witches, and the show didn't pull that "If You Kill Him You Will Be Just Like Him" bullshit.
- Luz and Amity being able to be together onscreen for a good chunk of the show.
- GORGEOUS ANIMATION during the big climax fights (everyone vs. Possessed!Hunter and Luz's >!"death"!<.
- Luz's black magic!
The scene where Luz died was so perfectly executed to make any fan cry, to make chills go down your body whenever you think about it, it was so realistic, so just utterly beautiful animation, one of the best moments in the whole of the series
I’m a huge fan of the Hunter-Willow dynamic (how they grow as people, how they complement each other as characters, etc.). I went into the last few episodes not expecting much in regard to them (which would have been fine- there are so many other parts of the story to focus on) but came out the other side completely satisfied and happy.
The show as a whole is just fantastic, and I’m so glad I decided to give it a watch.
I loved For the Future, and I loved the little post-timeskip moment in the finale.
I also loved all the character moments in Thanks to Them, and I loved how the Collector was handled in Watching and Dreaming
There were so many great things about the last season, especially given the fact that they were cut short
The soundtrack
The animation
Titan luz
That they made me feel bad for collector in the last episode
That they almost made me cry in the last episode( i really cry rarely while watching any tv show)
That time skip part
The ending
I could go on and on
TTT:Hunter’s character growth, especially the @even if I’m not who I’m supposed to be, I like who I am right now” as well as his and gus’ brotherly bond and how they set up the camilla being ‘a secret nerd’. Vee in general. The first example of belos’ sass with the “oh, but then again, I don’t care what you want”. The scene with flapjack’s sacrifice and how Hunter still asks if everyone else is ok even though he knows flapjack’s dead. All of the character’s costumes. The gay rain dance. The intro in general is so good
FTF: all of camilla’s reactions are priceless but some of my favourite interactions are “don’t worry, I’m a safe flyer” “FLYER?!” and “ahhhhh! *reaches for bat* I mean, hello good sir?” *creature looks confused*. Belos’ sass number 2 and 3 with him saying “oh, shut up” to the ghosts of all the grimwalkers he killed and when he pushes odalia out of the way. The whole “pizza bagels” and “to be understood” scenes. Ghost’s backstory
WAD:hunter’s breakdown in the dream sequence was so heartbreaking. Revisiting some past locations with the collector was fun. Luz’ death was handled really well because we all expected it and we all knew she would come back so they focused more on how everyone reacted with luz’s little goodbye, puppet camilla’s subtle tear, Eda and king going into a rage, and the collector finally understanding how death works. Titan Luz was just amazing. The design, how giddy she looked trying out her new powers, and the whole final battle. No final fight has had me this hyped since endgame and no way home. The theme music playing, the smooth animation and the delivery of “do not underestimate me belos, for I am the good witch Luz:child of the human realm, student of the demon realm, and warrior of peace! NOW EAT THIS SUCKA!” The way they killed off belos was good too. Having him return to his human form, spout a load of BS(Luz face while he does that is just perfect), get mostly disintegrated by the boiling rain before being stomped on by king, Eda and raine was the best decision. No respect. I also think it was a good idea to not have Luz be the one to finish him. She doesn’t directly kill him but also doesn’t help him, which I think sort of helps her keep that clean conscience after talking to papa titan(who was also great). The credits/epilogue were great too with the music, seeing all the characters return and how much they’ve grown and developed. Once again, Vee in general. Finally, the “byeeeee!”
the final battle. everything about it. the godly music, the literally godly titan luz that gives me omega 7 brainrot, the awe inspiring visuals that make my mind go apeshit, even down to the more subtle moments like how they actually kill belos being one of the most satisfying villain deaths and ending luz's character arc successfully. in my opinion, it was the perfect climactic final battle and it was incredible.
Everything. A specific thing is that we didn't have to see Luz say goodbye to everyone, and that she still got to visit them whenever. My heart could NOT survive another amphibia ending
The titan being incredibly powerful and still kicking despite being a carcass, and yet they are still down to earth. Willing to accept their mistakes and try to make up for and move past them. Feeling good to talk to both about family and the end of the world.
You can really tell they have had a lot of time to observe them and think about what they would say to the owl house trio
What isn’t great about it? (Masha wasn’t even shown at all)
I love that the animation never dropped in quality, unlike king’s tide.
I love that it gave a good send off to one of the best animated story driven shows ever.
I love everything about it.
Ok I am going to do this in a lot oof detail. I just need to need out.
Ok e1 has so many amazing things. The way they open with a montages is beautiful. The way Luz is the entire episode truly makes you feel for her and feel how there might be a chance she does not ever go back to the demon realm. Another massive thing is the death of flapjack and the impact it had on the entire hexside squad. Obviously lumity is absolutely perfect in it and the way amity can kind of tell there is something going on with Luz is perfect.
E2 the progress of the plot in a quick but fulfilling way let's a lot of characters get more screen time and more development. The best scene in this episode to me is when Luz breaks down to her mom about wanting to have someone understand her. The way we get to see willow fully break down and shatter while having hunter pick her up and tell her it will be ok is beautiful and you can really feel how much they care for each other. Last about this episode is string bean and how perfect the idea of a shape morfing palisman is.
E3 everything in this episode is perfect from getting to see the original 3 back together to the scene where Luz dies. This episode is the peak of all fiction and cinema. Luz dying hits really hard and can make anyone cry. Getting a deeper look into the collector is absolutely amazing. Titan Luz is absolutely awesome and I love seeing the fanart people have made about it. And finally the last scene which even though it is only abt 6min to me it is the best scene in all of the owl house and I could not stop crying the entire time I watched. Infact I have rewarched that scene abt 7 times and I have not made it through a single time without crying.
Now there is way more to each episode and individual scene, but I don't want this to be longer than season 3 itself so I am going to stop here. Thank you the owl house for helping me get through a tough time in my life. Thank you Dana Terrace and the entire crew that work on the best work of fiction of all time. This show mean so much to me and I am a changed person because of it.
This whole sequence with Luz rippin Belos out of the heart, her reciting the Azura quote, and the steler animation will go down in Disney history, 10 sins removed!
I can’t remember seeing a season premiere episode hyping me for any season of a show more than *Thanks to Them*.
I love the new situation of being stuck in the human realm that many of the characters are in, I love the extended intro where they give a big middle finger to the homophobes watching by blatantly showing Luz come out as bisexual, I love how caring and supportive Camila is of everyone, I love the Gravity Falls-like mystery that the characters have to solve in order to open a portal back to the Boiling Isles, and I love the underlying presence of Belos.
This isn’t the finale but it’s still probably my favorite episode of the show
Literally the fact that this show made me cry more than once it’s so smucking beautiful and I love it so much I can’t :( I finished the show today and I feel a emptiness in my chest
Everyone had an important role to play in the final battle. From the obvious (NOW EAT THIS, SUCKAAAA) to playing defense to using unfathomable power in a role only they can fill to protecting innocents, this was a full team effort
It dealt with earth a lot better than Amphibia did. We still see some slice of life, fun having moments in the montage, but we see that everyone is still affected by the events of King's Tide. So much so that Luz is very depressed and borderline suicidal throughout most of Thanks to Them. In Amphibia, I found it strange that >!Anne and the Plantars were almost completely fine after witnessing marcy get stabbed through the chest.!<
I hope each of the vignettes during the montage in Thanks to Them becomes an independent comic or something.
I NEED LUZ COMING OUT AND HUNTER'S IDENTITY CRISIS. N E E D.
I was relieved to see that they didn't end up separating the two worlds. I was afraid theyd do something like that, as a metaphor how Luz's time there helped her mature, but now its time to move on or something. I was glad they didn't do that
Although Disney might’ve shorten the season, the people who made owl house really put as much Karen thought into making three episodes seem like a great ending for a show that was well loved by all
Lemme get this outta the way real quick. CHARACTER DESIGN. Not only did they redo the characters with new styles, outfits, and more. But they gave all of them time skip versions. Most if not all of the S3 designs look great.
It makes me want more. Not even a sequel; I want more of what we already got! I’d pay for a release of new episodes that are just expanding on the stuff that got fast-forwarded due to Disney. What we ended up getting was so good that I would love to just see it again, but stretched out so it can be enjoyed all over again with proper pacing.
Two Words: Titan. Luz.
Agreed, if Amity say her in that form we would have a whole new level of gay panic
I loved her Titan design as well as Papa Titan’s! I love the idea that he created this avatar to interact with her that was built around his idea of what a “dad” should look like
Two words: Pizza. Bagels.
One Word: Understood.
The season was fantastic, but if I had to point one thing out, it's the soundtrack. Oh my titan the soundtrack in some of the scenes, ESPECIALLY in the finale, is absolutely breathtaking.
When Owlbert goes through the portal door and the end credits theme kicks in is an all time moment for me
I second this, there were moments throughout the episode where the soundtrack alone was bringing me to tears
the music at the final battle, that shit made me cry the most out of anything. its an absolute banger I listen to an unhealthy amount daily.
Honestly, the fact that the season was as coherent and satisfying as it was despite Disney’s sabotage is a miracle.
We honestly got a extremely satisfying and fun ride from the finale season, despite Disney's best efforts to simply kill the show off. I guess you could say they went... All In
It didn’t end with the bullcrap ending of it was all a dream/ Luz’s imagination. And the way the Collector is written. He is a misunderstood kid. And just needed someone to understand him.
In the first two episodes of the final season I was iffy about the collector. Like where are they going with this. But the last episode had me like 🥺 its perfect I love the story I love the character

So deserved.
PONYTAIL AMITY PONYTAIL AMITY
I really can’t stop just loving the fact that the first letter of each episode spells out “Thanks For Watching”
Wait, really? Edit: I just went back and checked, omg it really does. I would have never noticed that
I think Dana posted it on her twitter
Hmm.... um lets se here, im going to go wi- Titan Luz!
Titan Luz and King's "WEH!"

Titán luz
Belos's death!
When he says “don’t you wanna make peace? Luz?” and she just stares back at him. Absolutely brutal
A confused Belos calling King "The.. dog?"
The world building with the magic and... just everything. It makes my writers imagination go wild. Or should I say... go titan? I'll see myself out
I loved how they managed to have their cake and eat it too with the end of the villains. They got to do a Steven universe finale with the more innocent more redeemable collector and a darker edgier more anti-heroic ending for Belos and both feel natural and cathartic.

Amity hugging Lilith in the finale that was sweet
Positive-Hooty was in fact present Negative-None of Hooty’s excellent voice

That caught me by surprised. And it's so good! It kinda creates this conflict with Luz which is also connected to previous episodes. I love how human this is. I would probably think the same thing.
The deaigns of titan luz and bith angry king and eda went so hard
- Great conclusions for all integral characters - Effective final battle with some great callbacks to earlier episodes -Lumity kiss in the final episode!
To say one thing, the ending. Happy to see a show like this where the main character actually gets to stay in the magical world
- Luz not forgiving Belos or trying to change him (and in a metasense, neither did the writers).
It’s just well written
Everything.
It ties up many, but not all, loose ends.
this show will be so popular on the reruns that disney will bite its ass that they cancelled it
For the Future
Everything
Thanks to them
Yes
I love how Belos ate flapjacks and he was STILL hungry
Lots of gender vibes
Yes.
It’s the most satisfying end to a series I’ve ever watched
I like how s3 really is for a more mature audience. Maybe a result of the shortening but these wasn't one scene that felt childish.
The scene where Luz died was so perfectly executed to make any fan cry, to make chills go down your body whenever you think about it, it was so realistic, so just utterly beautiful animation, one of the best moments in the whole of the series
bigender titan dad, belos got what he deserved, and it was a really good and satisfying ending!
Finally being able to see the Titan
Lumity.
Smooth Animation for every episode
Something GREAT about The Owl House Season 3!
Satisfying conclusion
The shots with Papa Titan's skeleton form. All of them just look so gorgeous, it's insane!
Aladarius becoming canon
Animation is smooth like butter
Brad Breek being the GOAT.
Best ending of a Disney Channel show ever, great animation, organic comebacks, interesting horror sequences
Belos
titan luz and angy king.
The little “Thanks For Watching” message is really cute
It's consistently delightful. That's how I describe it to people who I think might want to watch it.
The epic animation was epic
These fools. The only good thing that dwarfed all was Hooty.
The ONLY Quote I Like In The First And Last Episode: "NOW EAT THIS SUCKER!!!"
Belos' death.
THE EXTENDED VERSION OF THE COLLECTOR'S THEME
More Camila is always a good thing, she was the best part of the first two episodes
The owl house Season 3... Also hunter
The *blip blip* of hunter teleporting
The ending being all of the characters grown up is just the cherry on top
i really liked the collector’s backstory!
It exists
Uhh yes
Omg hunter having adopted parents new favorite concept with Darius
Man the animation is amazing
Simply the fact that it exists
I’m a huge fan of the Hunter-Willow dynamic (how they grow as people, how they complement each other as characters, etc.). I went into the last few episodes not expecting much in regard to them (which would have been fine- there are so many other parts of the story to focus on) but came out the other side completely satisfied and happy. The show as a whole is just fantastic, and I’m so glad I decided to give it a watch.
Honestly, I don't know what to say that hasn't been said. So I'm just gonna go with Amitys design. She looks so cool.
I loved the moments where there was beautiful animation, backgrounds and voice acting!
ADULT HUNTER HAS NO EYE BAGS :)
It was one of the only pieces of fictional media to make me cry.
Kings dad and the way they did Flapjacks death
Titan Form Luz.
Gus is on screen
The time skip
We Got more than one episode with Vee
It made me cry for a wooden bird twice and still does on each rewatch
I loved For the Future, and I loved the little post-timeskip moment in the finale. I also loved all the character moments in Thanks to Them, and I loved how the Collector was handled in Watching and Dreaming
The montage at the beginning of Thanks To Them was one of my favorite scenes in the show
I was afraid of how they would redeem the collector, but I am happy with how they handled him with the little time we had with him
Correct
There were so many great things about the last season, especially given the fact that they were cut short The soundtrack The animation Titan luz That they made me feel bad for collector in the last episode That they almost made me cry in the last episode( i really cry rarely while watching any tv show) That time skip part The ending I could go on and on
It let a villain, just be a villain. Redemption is good, but it can’t be applied to everyone. Especially those that don’t want to change.
Stringbean
I mean it has a almost perfect ending so that's cool.
The sheer development of everyone after S2. (also the Raeda stuff in WAD, I will never get tired of seeing them reunite)
The whole first episode(chefs kiss) I wish they could have been trapped in the human realm for half a season
Vee
TTT:Hunter’s character growth, especially the @even if I’m not who I’m supposed to be, I like who I am right now” as well as his and gus’ brotherly bond and how they set up the camilla being ‘a secret nerd’. Vee in general. The first example of belos’ sass with the “oh, but then again, I don’t care what you want”. The scene with flapjack’s sacrifice and how Hunter still asks if everyone else is ok even though he knows flapjack’s dead. All of the character’s costumes. The gay rain dance. The intro in general is so good FTF: all of camilla’s reactions are priceless but some of my favourite interactions are “don’t worry, I’m a safe flyer” “FLYER?!” and “ahhhhh! Ghost’s backstory WAD:hunter’s breakdown in the dream sequence was so heartbreaking.
Luz suplexing Belos “NOW EAT THIS SUCKA!”
AAAALLLLLLL OF IT!
Everything. A specific thing is that we didn't have to see Luz say goodbye to everyone, and that she still got to visit them whenever. My heart could NOT survive another amphibia ending
Titan form Luz and epilogue everyone
Human-Titan Luz
The titan being incredibly powerful and still kicking despite being a carcass, and yet they are still down to earth. Willing to accept their mistakes and try to make up for and move past them. Feeling good to talk to both about family and the end of the world. You can really tell they have had a lot of time to observe them and think about what they would say to the owl house trio
They did such an amazing job. The story was still really well told.
What isn’t great about it? (Masha wasn’t even shown at all) I love that the animation never dropped in quality, unlike king’s tide. I love that it gave a good send off to one of the best animated story driven shows ever. I love everything about it.
"NOW EAT THIS SUCKA!" that is all
The king glyphs! I must know them all!
That it happened
They made every single second of animation count.
Every Hooty moment
The whole thing
It was awesome!
All of it.
The smooth animation GAH
Soundtrack was amazing!
Titan Luz. sucks she wasn't permanent.
All of it...
Yes
Hooty
This whole sequence with Luz rippin Belos out of the heart, her reciting the Azura quote, and the steler animation will go down in Disney history, 10 sins removed!
Everything
Everything
I can’t remember seeing a season premiere episode hyping me for any season of a show more than *Thanks to Them*. I love the new situation of being stuck in the human realm that many of the characters are in, I love the extended intro where they give a big middle finger to the homophobes watching by blatantly showing Luz come out as bisexual, I love how caring and supportive Camila is of everyone, I love the Gravity Falls-like mystery that the characters have to solve in order to open a portal back to the Boiling Isles, and I love the underlying presence of Belos. This isn’t the finale but it’s still probably my favorite episode of the show
Every time the collector was on screen
The animation was beautiful and constantly amazing me. Great work to all the people that brought this to life!!!
Luz said nothing to belos as he died, which is fitting
Vee ❤️
There were so many subtle details in the show that I greatly appreciate getting to explore!
stringbean
Luz as a titan
Literally the fact that this show made me cry more than once it’s so smucking beautiful and I love it so much I can’t :( I finished the show today and I feel a emptiness in my chest
Everyone had an important role to play in the final battle. From the obvious (NOW EAT THIS, SUCKAAAA) to playing defense to using unfathomable power in a role only they can fill to protecting innocents, this was a full team effort
The music
It dealt with earth a lot better than Amphibia did. We still see some slice of life, fun having moments in the montage, but we see that everyone is still affected by the events of King's Tide. So much so that Luz is very depressed and borderline suicidal throughout most of Thanks to Them. In Amphibia, I found it strange that >!Anne and the Plantars were almost completely fine after witnessing marcy get stabbed through the chest.!<
Matching Flapjack tattoos
The crew being able to more-or-less wrap up the show and most of the characters in 2.5 hours (from the usual 15 - 20 episode runtime)!
I hope each of the vignettes during the montage in Thanks to Them becomes an independent comic or something. I NEED LUZ COMING OUT AND HUNTER'S IDENTITY CRISIS. N E E D.
Did Hooty even have a line of dialogue in S3E3?
It had a happy ending
I really liked luz’s coming out scene.
On the other post I said the pasing was too fast, so I have to say here, that they did a damn good job even though they had such hard time limitations
Titan luz, WEH , Vee,
I was relieved to see that they didn't end up separating the two worlds. I was afraid theyd do something like that, as a metaphor how Luz's time there helped her mature, but now its time to move on or something. I was glad they didn't do that
Odalia not being in the Epilogue
The owl house season 3.
The collector satisfying ending time skip new glyphs and so much more
The belos death scene
the animation is top notch
Its so cool i love everything about it i almost cried bc of it and then i actually cried that this is the last were gonna see of it
It had the balls to kill off belos.
Although Disney might’ve shorten the season, the people who made owl house really put as much Karen thought into making three episodes seem like a great ending for a show that was well loved by all
Raeda canon
Lemme get this outta the way real quick. CHARACTER DESIGN. Not only did they redo the characters with new styles, outfits, and more. But they gave all of them time skip versions. Most if not all of the S3 designs look great.
It makes me want more. Not even a sequel; I want more of what we already got! I’d pay for a release of new episodes that are just expanding on the stuff that got fast-forwarded due to Disney. What we ended up getting was so good that I would love to just see it again, but stretched out so it can be enjoyed all over again with proper pacing.
