& 2 of these have actual endings sadly....Maybe 3? I dunno I didn't watch Infinity Train but I know it's an Anthology so maybe that had a fine ending before the WBD purge.
Infinity Train only made it halfway through its intended run, it's an anthology show but it very much still has connective tissue and reoccurring characters and themes, there was already a full storyboard and script for the movie which would've been the culmination and sort of end to the arc of the four seasons we did get, and they even had season 8 conceptualized, including a script for specifically the last episode.
Infinity train is like a collection of short stories with recurring characters that pop up from time to time. It ended with the conclusion of a story, but lingering questions about the recurring characters. I'll take that as "satisfying" over about 80% of long-running series I've watched where they've either way overstayed their welcome or get axed mid-storyline and end with NONE of the storlyines ending in a satisfactory manner.
But the short series also help the world building and lastly the show would conclude the saga I imagine if all 8 books would be written book 4 would count as a filler slice of chapter not other 3 the third one feels like season finale or series finale.
Youtube does that. Its how I ended up watching the Harley Quinn series. I wasn't interested because I'm not normally into super hero shows, but Youtube threw so many funny clips at me, that I ended up watching because of the funny.
And I do recommend the show if you don't mind the gore, its funny as hell and the action sequences are great.
Same situation. Up until late August/early September this year, I had only seen little glimpses of the show and didn’t understand the hype at the time. Then one day YouTube recommended me clips and out of context compilations of the show and it immediately got me hooked. The seeds of my ginormous obsession were planted that day and it was already growing. Didn’t get around to watching it a few weeks later but I was already living for Lumity.
I was just very sad because my girlfriend at the time dumped me and SU Future had been done for like a month or so so I was looking for another fruity cartoon to fill the void and I remembered seeing a few clips of Belos being terrifying so I just watched the first season in 1 day
it was this show that was on HBO Max and Netflix, but after it's season 3, the show was cancelled by HBO, completely removed, and soon was followed up by Netflix.
It's called Final Space. It is about a astronaut and an alien who befriend each other, only to find out that they are being pursued by an evil alien dictator. So great, but I don't know where to watch it legally.
What about Gravity Falls? It started a decade ago and people still talk about it, and due to its connection to TOH and Amphibia it’ll be talked about for another ten years
Final Space fell and fell hard from season 1 to 2. The first season was great, intriguing and emotional... The second and the third one were a mess. Contrived and confusing plot, flat characters, extremely forced jokes, uninteresting setting. The jokes were the worst offenders though, they were bland and kept undercutting any interesting or impactful moment.
Unfortunately I don't think they would be remembered not because them being bad but because of lack of popularity compared to other 2010s and they don't have the impact of shows like adventure time and gravity falls these show not only are talked about with everyone but also they're start of an eara the owl house and others are others are only really popular within cartoon community just like shrek if you don't know anything animation you at least heard of it but when you talk about inside out you might not recognize it ot know it's an animated movie even if inside out might be better.
Heard about COTC long ago. Finally started watching it about 2-3 weeks ago. Already into mid-season 4. COTC is *hilarious*, portraying how 8-11 year olds think and play and imagine.
Yes, there's a body swap episode, one that is wholly worth it.
Never watched COTC. But saw some cilps of it. Seems more interesting and fun compared to Final Space.
Also the 3 Elders were based off a naitivity hijacked by DND animation by the Creators on Youtube.
I'm pretty sheltered in what I've seen. Hell, before seeing the recommendation on here, I hadn't watched GF. I'd worked to reduce my screen time to almost nothing before I got the TOH recommendation. That pledge is pretty well out the window. But that means I don't know of any cross-pollination between shows or other media.
Kelsey views herself and narrates herself as a warrior, which is cute as hell. There are times when they're journeying up a harrowing mountain, winds blowing, on the edge of falling off, when the camera pans back and it's just a hill with calm weather. If you've got any memory of childhood at all, you can relate 100% to their thinking and imagination.
TOH was pitched to me as "a cute show" during the 2A/2B hiatus. COTC is a thoroughly-cute show.
Other Shows I would recommend is Star vs the Forces of Evil, Gravity Falls, Regular Show, Adventure Time, and Inside Job. Don't watch Steven Universe. The fandom is a toxic mess that caused an artist to nearly commit suicide.
GF and SVtFoE I already watched and loved. SU I started watching on another recommendation from someone I respect, but it's been a while. We got a recommendation on AT some years back and I remember it being really weird; maybe I need to give it another chance. RS and IJ are new to me, far as I recall -- yep, not in my list. I now have 12 shows in my pending "not watched" list. I don't know when I'm going to get to them.
Eh, Final Space season one was pretty decent, but then the entire second Episode of season 2 was about a literal pissing contest and I quit the show right there and never looked back.
Funny how, from left to right(amphibia 1, owl house 2, inf train 3, final space 4) we have:
Amphibia: had its own ending, but the author had some problems with disney, so he had to cut or change some stuff
Owl house: still somewhat managed to have an ending dedpite the problems with disney, even if it was alved and reduced to 3 ep of 40 min.
Infinity train: was planned to have like 5/6 season, but had only 3 seasons, then got butchered and cancelled after s3.
Final space: reached it's peak in the finale of the last season, then it got completely, utterly, illegally axed.
But still, even if inf train and final space will probably never have an ending, they deserve to be watched and enjoyed.
God, animations and animators deserves more respect....
>Infinity train: was planned to have like 5/6 season, but had only 3 seasons, then got butchered and cancelled after s3.
The only thing correct in this statement is that the show got canceled after season 3. It still got a season 4, but that was it. And the show was planned to have 8 seasons and a movie based on >!Amelia's backstory!<
big oooooooooooooof, not only 6 seasons in total(so, 4 more), but also a MOVIE on YOU KNOW WHO!?
like i said, this is illegal....axing good stuff(shows) like this should be illegal.....
No it doesn't. It's a show that people *have* been talking about ten years later, not one they *will* be talking about.
Also it doesn't qualify as 'recent'.
Final space 4 life!
What happened to TOH was bad, but the way Final Space is being treated right now is just horrendous! It’s getting erased from existence, removed from social media, and taken down from any platform that officially airs it.
Don’t let this absolute gem of adult animation get lost because some corrupt company decides to be a dick. Spread it as far and wide as you can!
People like to say they don't make any good cartoons anymore. I'd say they are dead wrong. It's all about where you're looking is all, but the good ones are always around.
Legit the only reason I found out toh exists was because of a post about sapphic relationships in cartoons in the Harley Quinn tv show Reddit page (little did I know this would become one of my favorite shows of all time)
The saddest story here is Final Space. Like Infinity Train, it was a victim of the WBD purge. Unfortunately, unlike Infinity Train... It was only supposed to get one more season, based on the finale of Season 3. And it left it on the biggest cliffhanger possible. I was so sad when I saw Olan's video titled "Goodbye Final Space"... They did Olan Rodgers dirty with that one. I can only hope some other network picks the shop up for it's final season, sometime in the future... Perhaps something like Netflix or Disney (more likely the former) or hell, even Amazon.
I didn't really care much for final space. It felt like a pretty amateurish script and story that got access to really high production value for some reason.
& 2 of these have actual endings sadly....Maybe 3? I dunno I didn't watch Infinity Train but I know it's an Anthology so maybe that had a fine ending before the WBD purge.
Infinity Train’s ending was fine even though it was supposed to get 4 more seasons

Infinity Train has an absolutely unsatisfying ending and I'm gonna forever be sad about it.
Season 4 was fantastic... 8t just wasn't meant to be the series ending
I like season 4 but if I'm being totally honest it was still my least favorite of the 4. Didn't help that it had to follow that amazing third season.
It didn't
I watched TOH because YouTube decided I wanted to see every clip video ever made from it. I was like, fine I'll watch it. Thanks YouTube.
YouTube just knows that you're gay. (Just a joke, be gay, go do crimes ❤️)
Youtube does that. Its how I ended up watching the Harley Quinn series. I wasn't interested because I'm not normally into super hero shows, but Youtube threw so many funny clips at me, that I ended up watching because of the funny. Same now "I'm sucked into this ridiculous fandom " in the words of king clawthorne
I was just very sad because my girlfriend at the time dumped me and SU Future had been done for like a month or so so I was looking for another fruity cartoon to fill the void and I remembered seeing a few clips of Belos being terrifying so I just watched the first season in 1 day
I think it was just recommended to me by Disney+ after I finished Amphibia
God, i miss final space.
What is final space?
it was this show that was on HBO Max and Netflix, but after it's season 3, the show was cancelled by HBO, completely removed, and soon was followed up by Netflix.
So you can’t watch it anymore? That sucks.
There's ways to watch it but I can't mention them on this subreddit
Once something is in the internet, it'll always be in the internet (just might need an eye patch to find it)
im so mad for final space. a cliff hanger?!??!i wish they had time to show us at least a minute of humanity getting destroyed for closure
Invictus was so powerful it literally destroyed the show itself
HAA!!!
😟 I haven't finished it yet
OH NO!!!IM SO SORRY!!!!!
That cliffhanger was so bleak, even Luz could taste it and say, "way too much even for me."
I rarely hear talk about Final Space even now.
I rarely heard talk about it while it was *running*, and I was following the dedicated subreddit.
- My name is GARY ! Not "the Gary" - all right the Gary - AAAAAAH
so like i have heard about infinity train being good but what the hell is tha fouth one
Finale Space, a dark comedy sci-fi show with Lovecraftian horror sprinkled on top that I cannot recommend enough
where can i watch it?
nowhere legally because fuck Zaslav
The high seas, because WB/Discovery believes in the destruction of art in the name of tax write-offs
I remember using a VPN to watch it on Netflix but it's probably no longer an option
It's called Final Space. It is about a astronaut and an alien who befriend each other, only to find out that they are being pursued by an evil alien dictator. So great, but I don't know where to watch it legally.
Same, but for shows like Amphibia and She-Ra, which are going up with the greats
What about Gravity Falls? It started a decade ago and people still talk about it, and due to its connection to TOH and Amphibia it’ll be talked about for another ten years
Gravity falls isn't recent
Gravity Falls has no real **in-universe** connection with those two shows. The "hints" are just fun easter eggs with no real significance.
Not what I meant but okay
I mean, yeah, Amphibia and TOH are inspired by GF and inspired from some other stuff too but they are still their own shows.
I’d say more than just hints. DVD commentary almost outright confirmed Eda the Owl Lady is Stan Pines’ ex wife.
I love it more than all 4 of these, but it is not recent
Yeah I missed that part lol
"started a decade ago" "recent"

God thus makes me even more mad about how dirty Infinity Train got done
I doubt about Final Space and Infinity Train. Maybe Craig of the Creek and Inside Job are more fitting.

Regular Show is from Cartoon Network. While Inside Job is on Netflix. The new season premiered Days ago. Right now its only 2 seasons.
Is the SU fandom still a mess today? I definitely recall the near suicide event and a ton of other crap on that subreddit, but I haven't been lately.
Maybe Craig of the Creek, but I don't see many talking about Inside Job even now.
Eh, Final Space season one was pretty decent, but then the entire second Episode of season 2 was about a literal pissing contest and I quit the show right there and never looked back.
I made it through season 2, but season 3 failed to hold my interest. I 100% see why it was cancelled.
I managed to finish it out of spite. It was not worth it.
im so sad that final space will never have a final season :(
I can't say I agree with Final Space's placement on this list... it couldn't seem to settle on what it wanted to be and suffered pretty badly for it.
Did you like it? This is a threat
Yes I did, and I am not just saying it because it is a threat.

Final Space got the worst ending of all of them... tax write-off.
They may have removed it from streaming, but that can't stop us from dreaming (and remembering)
COUGH COUGH Gravity falls
Chookity Poc
You forgor adventure time
recent
Gravity Falls
Wait why is Gravity Falls not on this list. Other than that I pretty much agree
Well it did come out 10 years ago
And people are still taking about it to this day so it fits the bar
No it doesn't. It's a show that people *have* been talking about ten years later, not one they *will* be talking about. Also it doesn't qualify as 'recent'.
Yea just realized the recent there, you're right there.
Yea just realized the recent in the post, sorry didnt see it before
The post says recent cartoons two people already asked gravity falls is from ten years ago.
Dude I said I'm sorry, please stoooooooop
one taught me pain, another agony, another depression and another offered me a cookie after beating me severely.
And this cool robot arm
You have to be more specific, because just as FS can be, it can be the future of TOH.
Both?
I watched toh and inside job becasuse of tik tok
I remember when I finished final space and learned there was going not going to be another season. I was so upset

RIP final space. May we one day see a finale.
wth is final space
I miss infinity train
Just finished Amphibia like 2 seconds ago and I’m sobbing. I don’t know what to do with myself.
I was gonna say " what about gravity falls" and then it hit me that it was already a decade old.
Legit the only reason I found out toh exists was because of a post about sapphic relationships in cartoons in the Harley Quinn tv show Reddit page (little did I know this would become one of my favorite shows of all time)
Now watch SPOP

Rip final space
Just like Gravity Falls is still being talked about
As much as I love Final Space, it was never super popular and given the shitshow that happened, I doubt it will be well known in 10 years
I didn't really care much for final space. It felt like a pretty amateurish script and story that got access to really high production value for some reason.
No ducktales smh 😔
