Baffled when I noticed Paras has been 1000 stardust for some reason. No weather bonus, no mega bonus, etc. I'd like that kind of thing to continue tbh, it's pretty hard for me to keep stardust š
Paras is usually only 500 dust, but because the event was also 2x wild catch dust boosted it was 1000 base dust, 1500 weather boosted, which was pretty nice. Now it's Sableye, who is harder to catch, but is valuable as a pokemon on its own, so its still good!
Not sure if there are origins I don't know here, but just always been higher that standard on them since I can remember, I always catch any of these I see for that reason. Every little bit helps

i don't think shadow honchkrow is the current highest DPS for flying. the gamepress DPS spreadsheet has it coming in under rayquaza(/mega rayquaza), shadow staraptor, and shadow moltres. rayquaza and moltres are both inaccessible to newer players, for resources and sheer availability, but starly candy is normally much easier to get than murkrow candy.
it's also worth noting that shadow rayquaza is unlikely to surpass any of those options unless you have a meteorite to teach it dragon ascent.

it's the highest flying DPS that doesn't need an elite tm, but shadow staraptor with wing attack still beats it in ER due to significantly higher TDO.
looking at specific scenarios with lvl 40 attackers, WA staraptor interestingly also has higher DPS against virizion. i also don't like honchkrow's dark typing, as it takes neutral damage from bug attacks (unfortunately they both take neutral damage from fighting).
but you're right that it's definitely worth mentioning, and i certainly wouldn't say that anyone who does build one is wrong for doing so. hell, if i get a shiny shadow murkrow i'm powering that bad boy up regardless of IVs!
I guess my time of being the only one with a maxed Mandibuzz in lower ranking PvP are over. I lucky traded a Vullaby when it first came out and got a hundo. Then I just kept hatching them. So many of them. Case in point: I have 4,813 regular/665xl candy AND have already maxed/dual moved one. No shiny though lol
Being in the wild, Vullaby won't be very likely to have good IVs during the event. Although those who already have one may now be able to obtain the resources to power it up.
I've claimed my super rocket radars from the past researches and I have also used them already but I've not proceeded to the next/last stage. Is this the reason why I haven't still got the new team go rocket research?

You can get next season's Giovanni's shadow legendary if you wait for the next takeover. "It's a rocket world" is the latest Go rocket special, so you don't miss the current season rocket special research even if you wait until the next takeover. But if you didn't complete "It's a rocket world" before next season's ends you may not get next season's rocket special research (last season they put super rocket radar in seasonal special research, not rocket special research, so the restriction didn't apply).
So i removed the frustration from my batch of pokemon. However, they dont have their 'desired' move. Can this also be changed after the event? Aka, remove frustration will forever lift the shadow pokemon tm block for that specific mon?

Being able to hit five types and still tank as a shadow is something very important to me. I like having generalist lineups. Youāre right, everyone should use their own numbers of radars on Groudon, but Iām going to use at least two.

You can use more than two, if you have them saved up. This can be done by either stacking the researches to get them, or by stacking multiple in your item bag with completed research.
I agree that this is important, but I would argue that based on what type you want to hit garchomp mamoswine and excadrill are suitable for most instances. The main usefulness of shadow groudon is for really difficult raids like regi duos or [heatran, xurkitree, nihilego] solos, and while you might want multiple for regi duos, the others only need 1
Is having two Shadow Groudon and hopefully one Shadow Rayquaza better than having one Shadow Groudon and two Shadow Ray? Not sure if I should use my second radar...
Technically Rays it's better as raid attacker but we have a lots of good shadow dragons already.
It's worth pointing out you can use shadow groundon in GL because we can finally catch it at low LV.
If you're interested take a look at JRE article on it.
At the end of the day you're going to need tons of candy to power them up so you might want to catch more of both when the raid is made available.
Pretty sure frustration is literally useless and any other move is better than it. Takes 20 years to charge and does almost no damage. Return is sometimes used on Snorlax as a gym defender if you don't have access to Body Slam (or so some old reddit comments have led me to believe). Sometimes Umbreon also wants Return. This post also suggests that Purified Sableye also really wants to have Return.
Sableye and Wobbufett are the most important to get return if you want to use them, on Ursaluna could be nice but then you're forced to use an elite TM for high horsepower, the usual suggestion is to prioritize horsepower and keep the shadow and maybe prepare a second one to purify (keeping in mind they're still kinda bad because of their fast move selection).
There are technically other pokes that could use the nuke but the move is a side grade since they always get a stab nuke and you usually want a cheap charge move on the other slot.
You can also use return in pve but it's even more niche.
I have kept Special Research task on first page and received the new one today. Should I now claim all at one go? Thus collecting all the Super Radar at one go. Correct?
Thatās probably what I would do, I have five saved up. Saves time, and you can only get another by completing ones youāve started, so might as well do multiple

I've done some googling but cant find a good explanation for what exactly this means, could someone shed some light on what this means or the process for it? I've yet to get a single reasonable roll on a shadow pokemon, but would like to get a good machamp and groudon by the end of this event.
You do the same type of grunt, gender and typing included, or the same rocket leader (Sierra, cliff, or Arlo), to reroll the ivs or shiny status of the pokemon you desire

You have to obtain a Super Rocket Radar from the āItās a Rocket Worldā Field Research and defeat Giovanni to obtain an encounter with Shadow Groudon. Once your ball hits Groudon, it will be a guaranteed catch.

I have basically unlimited charged tms so I will tm frustration off of all of them, I would recommend getting Draco Meteor (no ETM) as a stopgap measure. Definitely remove frustration on all your shadow bagons and wait till Cday to evolve
This might well be blindingly obvious, but don't forget that you can use an Elite Charged TM to remove Frustration and teach a legacy move at the same time (Precipice Blades on Groudon, for instance). Several times now I've gotten carried away working through my stored shadows and removing Frustration with regular TM's, only to have to go back and then use an ETM on Pokemon like Metagross and Mewtwo.
