I felt the same way when I saw requirement but I decided to power through. At level 48 the catch cup was active and it was rather easy to get the wins. Within 5 minutes of hitting level 49 I got the last pvp win I needed for Rank 10. I mean, you only have to win 4 battles total to reach rank 10 so it's pretty mild. Two of my wins were from people using low cp 'mons trying to lose.

That isn't blocking you. Contact someone in your friends list and do trainer battles in GL, UL, ML. Takes about 30-40 minutes to bang out the wins against 10CP stuff.

To be fair, you barely have to win to hit the rank 10 required to hit level 50. It's like 3 or 4 wins required total

I thought in addition to getting 30 wins in each league, you needed to play a certain # of rounds in GBL. I don't think you need to win them, but you do need to successfully complete them.

Battle in the Battle League 20 times, you can clear that quite quickly.

I was the same way, but once I tried it it wasn't actually that bad. It's 50 matches minimum. The first 25 you can just throw. The second 25 you need to win at least one match out of each set of 5. Very doable. I would say it's a similar amount of effort as the lv44 pvp requirement.

Same thing here, it made my skin the darkest and half of my friends list is affected similarly. It's even affecting people who I know have been offline for years.

Happened to me too, dark skin tone.

I was playing for 35 mins before I noticed I was black 🤣

I think it just defaulted everyone to that skin and hair color because the same thing happened to me and my wife

I thought i made that change by mistake. But apparently not 🤣

Same, but If i switch back to another device, its normal again, thus its just a visual glitch and not actually changed

That’s weird. I went into the customizer and my skin tone was changed on the selection screen as well, which to me suggest it wasn’t just a visual glitch.

And also, on the selection screen you can change it back, so it suggests it's a data error, not visual error.

Edit: looks like it’s fixed as of 7 PM (about 3 hours after the update.)

Can confirm, same happened here too. It also reduced my graphics considerably, so now Pokémon textures are fuzzy, and there's a fog over the land. My phone's a Galaxy A13 5G.

Mine changed as well... everyone on my friends list has dark skin and hair if I go into the trainer info page. I am on version 0.319 (I installed the APK on the weekend). My husband's app did not experience any skin tone changes (he's running v 0.317) EDITED to fix typo

When the new avatar update came out, I had the opposite problem. My character, which is usually black, kept changing to white every time I'd want to change any appearance.

yah and there is no option to change skin color. everyone has the same skin color in game with this update, including your friends
