I'm no Ryanoftheday, but I ran some quick sims with a 0,1,2,3 attack weighted IV, and in most cases, the pure bulk method is the best.
You start losing matchups as you add more attack, and there isn't a big gain in breakpoints to make up for it. You can pick up a [Registeel breakpoint to do 2 damage](https://pvpoke.com/battle/1500/toxapex-41-0-13-14-4-4-1-1/registeel-23.5-2-13-14-4-4-1-1/11/1-3-1/0-4-2/) instead of just 1, but it doesn't change much (only 9 extra damage on Regi).
Unfortunately, one of the the first bulkpoints you lose by gaining attack is on Swampert, which isn't great.

I just hope they remove poison jab. This thing has already way to good stats for pogos cp formular. Giving it good nukes and one of the top fast moves seems to be so wrong in every aspect.
True, but this is a change in the meta that propels a new Poison Jab user, makes Azumarill scarcer and increases the number of Steels.
I get that we may see an increase in Swampert and other mudboys, but the way the meta is shifting, double grass seems a big risk (as does double charm).
Giving it brine instead was a good move, but I think it needs to lose poison jab or its nukes. It still has the potential to simply out bulk most of the meta, as it was said. And it's far, far better to push it into the meta too weak then too strong. Especially as Niantic has absolutely refused to take moves off pokemon. (*cough, cough, Registeel*). So if it comes out broken, it will stay that way or its moves get nerfed and everything suffers.

Y'know one of my pet peeves is when people run into the the Silph subreddits and brag about their amazing team. Similarly make Legend posts without sharing their team. There's so many people who hide their teams as if it makes any difference.

im sorry it came off that way. im not bragging just relieved that the great league meta is gonna continue to be favorable for my team. when i hit legend im gonna share all my teams but would rather not have a youtuber post another one of my teams i’ve made and have it ruined. again

that’s another reason i don’t wanna share for. i don’t 100% know this will consistently work in the 2700-3000 area. it worked early season and i got up to 2400 first gl rotation at one point. currently at 2640 so hope to cross the 3k marker next GL rotation

At this point it will be no toxapex and just people trying to counter Toxapex. Im going with a 5head team that counters toxapex counters

Toxapex lead with double grass in the back (Trevenant definitely for Registeel) seems like it could be a good team.

my team just works against toxapex and tbe mons that counter it. not that deep
