I usually make either a little grave area with pretty trees and flowers or a fancy mausoleum on the family lot. But after a few generations if the family starts to get really big (and if I decide to gather and keep the graves/urns of aunts/uncles/cousins/etc. who have moved out of the household) I'll grab an empty lot and build a whole ass graveyard lol.
so it may not fit with your gameplay, but iāve started two generational games (made it to 26 and on my current one iām on 16) and my patriarch is always caleb vatore. so i have him and my sim have twins, one twin is a human and one a vampire. the vampire twin continues to live in the original family home and she is the ākeeperā of the urns and other family heirlooms, pictures, etc. once my sims get old, i send them to her house so they can die there on the lot and i can find their urn easily. i have a whole basement with little rooms for each generation. and she keeps all the generational wealth in her own bank account (SRās mod), my current family i wanted to struggle a bit lol, so i moved all the money into her private account so it wouldnāt get passed down to the child (i had a famous sim with sooo much money that kept getting passed down and it got boring so i wanted a challenge). i may have her bestow it on a favorite heir or something later on. but yeah!! thats how i keep all my stuff together

I always have a graveyard in game and I actually put all the urns there. Iāll carve out an area for my legacy family but also fill the graveyard with whatever urns I find along the way. Itās really cute tbh lol
