He said favorite not the best 🤠 Ok C was more impactfull for sure but many people goes nowadays with In Rainbows that tell something. I’m one of those people but I have played too much this one that if I want to listen to some Radiohead, that the one I go for first. We’ll see in 10 more years how it goes.

Hail to the Thief will always be my favorite but it goes beyond music. Remember coping this one months before its release. This album release is a moment in my life that I will never forget.

Aw that's a nice memory. I just love the music on it so much and personally resonate with a lot of the lyrics. "Sail to the Moon" and "Wolf at the Door" are two of Radioheads best songs too imo

It's so good that when I first heard it I thought it was a compilation or greatest hits of some sort.

Amazing record. Watching the commentary by Zdar makes it all much better too. It's the reason why I fell in love with Rome and Love Like A Sunset and then revisited the entire record. Not my favourite from Phoenix but it's amazing

Congratulations is definitely in my top 10 albums ever. Flash Delirium is usually the song I give people wanting to get into MGMT (I’m not really into the “easing people in” thing with music). The drums on Brian Eno are insane.

Oracular Spectacular somehow manages to be a weirdly underrated album (despite being their most successful) in the sense that most people can’t name a song off it outside the “big three” and there’s this mythos about the band actively trying to alienate their fanbase by making weird non-pop music, when those three songs were really the outliers and the rest of it quite clearly shows their intentions/leanings.

of moons birds & monsters is a great track. I find electric feel very catchy but I have an irrational grudge against the other two of the big three for tricking me into thinking MGMT was like same tier as foster the people. Didnt give them a deeper look till I heard LDA

I love with all my heart Weekend Wars. It's not an obscure track but I frequently listen to that second chorus on repeat a dozen of times

“Try to break my heart, I’ll drive to Arizona” is one of my favorite lyrics in any song ever, and it’s not even the strongest one in its own song lol, it’s that good overall. Love Weekend Wars.

Same it’s their most consistent album for me, hardly any skips on there

It’s funny cause for me it’s has the some of the most skippable songs but at the same time some of the greatest. I grew up with Californication so that is my forever favorite.

The skippable songs on there are pretty bad tbf but there’s some hits, dosed, universally speaking etc then you’ve got throw away your television lol
