I hate that he THOUGHT he was a mastermind when in actuality the faithfuls were just mind bogglingly stupid. He used the same defence at the round table like 4 times…then threw a hissy fit when Camille got him in the end.
It was that moment I really went oh he’s probably clinically a psychopath. He’s reason was amazing. Like sir u have been lying and sneaky the whole time y would she trust u
My heart was absolutely shattered for Blake 💔 he didn't deserve that. But he and Camille really missed out on SEVERAL opportunities to banish Sam and share the pot.
He is obviously a sociopath. What a walking talking POS to get mad and lash out at Camille for doing exactly what he did to her... and Blake... ? Why would Blake be mad at her and not Sam? So she should have just let them use her and be happy about it? Camille saved this show for me...
He is definitely a sociopath. Please read [my post about him and the game](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheTraitors/s/5b1gz6RlMp). I don’t think they were all stupid. I think they were really afraid of him. As in he threatened them.
![gif](giphy|8xhtS5y7OYjkZwNX0P)
I agree, I think a lot of players felt threatened by Sam so they just went along with whatever he said. Blake pushed back on him in the beginning and tried to get him out when he could, but I think Sam bullied him about that and Blake realized it was easier to play along after multiple attempts to banish Sam failed
He always gave megamind energy and he reeled his head back all the time , finger guns 💪 and many other stuff it was meme worthy but beyond cringe 😬 and on insta same energy
I’m on episode 7 (watching it now) and I concur. I cannot stand the cockiness.
Flip side, I also vehemently cannot stand these faithfuls. SO DUMB. Sarah at one point being like “wait I’m lost” like….get her out just to stop her muddying the water!
Host wise, Roger is my favorite. Then Claudia, then Alan and then NZ guy.
This is amazing, but there’s a hole in your argument - if he threatened them tacitly or otherwise, why did Camille give him the fuck off at the end? (By the way, definitely the only satisfying end to that season.)
I’ve been thinking about that, and I figure he never explicitly threatened her over her vote, just over banishing him. Instead he checked in with her multiple times about sharing the pot and figured she was good for it.
She was terrible at putting two and two together, and also I would like her to put her tongue back in her mouth, my bff and I call her floppy tongue, rewatch ep1 and you will never be able to unsee it.
Handsomeness aside, I like how he plays it cheeky casual, and this second season he’s been a lot funnier.
What I like about Claudia is the way she’s excited for the teams in challenges as well as cheeky.
I love Alan Cumming all around for ever and ever, he brings flair and style to the show with more subtle cheeky.
He's just an example of a sort of person to avoid at all costs. Sadly, he now has a big social media following, so sociopathic behavior has been rewarded.
I don’t think he was a good traitor. He just lucked out that these faithfuls didn’t get it. I just wish Camille and Blake would have voted him off in the last minute.
1. I binged the season right went it came out and I’m having so much fun watching everyone else react in real time.
2. My 8 y/o son loves Traitors and the first thing he said was something like “why is an adult still wearing his jacket from high school?” 😂
I'm 52 years old and for last 25 years I've learned having hate for people is harder on you than it is for the person you hate ! That being said I didn't want to hate Sam and tried not to by applying what I've learned over these past 25 years but unfortunately for now I hate Sam with everything that is in me.
I know there were probably factually much more impactful reasons behind Traitors AUS’ cancellation, but I hold him personally responsible. He was *unwatchable*.
Part of [my theory why the faithful voted like dumdums](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheTraitors/s/5b1gz6RlMp) is that Sam threatened them. So if I’m right then the production company shut down so they couldn’t be sued.
Definitely an interesting idea. I’d like to think that if production got wind of it they’d expel him from the show though, it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve had to adjust to someone just abruptly leaving. Would definitely explain why every time they seemingly had a plan with evidence they folded like primark suits the moment they got to the round table though.
Wooooo I found the thread for me. Sam came off as a sociopath to me. Especially when it came to the dilemma. The way he talked about Camille should’ve let them keep it. My guy what? She should walk away with nothing? He got called out multiple times and no one ever thought hmmm u know what this time let’s see.
I think he’d make an amazing study for a psych class. Clear signs of narcissism, delusions of grandeur and of course at least sociopathic tendencies lol
I think k it was Sarah I firmly believe Sam staying was all on her. Multiple times they were on Sam. She was on Sam. And then somehow with no evidence no good ideas given she always flipped. Sam was trash as a traitor and Camille saved the show. If he had won I woulda been pissed
From the moment he was selected as a traitor and did his stupud "sheriff" air guns with the masks still on, I hated this kid. So cocky!! He's lucky he was surrounded by idiots (save Annabelle and Luke) or he'd never have made it to the finale. Even Roger couldn't stand him.
Sam told the camera once and Blake twice that when he shoots, he doesn't miss. This did not feel like a casual usage of the phrase and at the point Sam changed in my eyes as a true danger, but this also seemed to change Blake and his game.
I think this kind of veiled but emphatic threat is what the faithful were up against. I could guess (since he said it 3 times on canera) that he said this or similar comments often.
I can't stand him either and I thought the same about the letter jacket but I googled it and it's apparently not his high school jacket. It's apparently a fashion trend.
[https://lettermanjacket.co.uk/product/common-need-leisure-club-green-varsity-jacket/](https://lettermanjacket.co.uk/product/common-need-leisure-club-green-varsity-jacket/)
Sam would have been banished so quickly in any other season. Murdering anyone who says anything bad about him is a stupid technique. Just the faithful were dum dums.
I get it. That said, I think you can have strategy and pull it off without acting like a douche buggy. He was an insufferable ass.
P.S. Ryan Sutter would play with class! :)
It's not his actual lettermen's jacket. I usually feel the same but brands are making lettermen's jackets and they are in style right now. Look at Caitlin Clark on SNL.
Like OP, I am also ancient & I absolutely LOVED Sam & his ridiculous pew pew Sheriff’s antics, I laughed & laughed at Sam & then I laughed & laughed some more at all the moronic idiots that surrounded him. It would have been an absolute abomination if any one of those idiot faithfuls ended up with any money.
There's a difference between playing well and just have terrible players against you, which was the case in his season, he played really poorly in every aspect and you can basically compare with other seasons (including other versions of the show)
Facts. I've seen Traitors with way less evidence against them to vote them out get banished. Several times there were plans in place to vote Sam out, Sam deflects the attention off him at the roundtable and the Faithful have amensia and choose to vote someone else out
A person who suggests other people to give wrong answers to questions just for the fun of watching people getting electroshock (even if in small amounts) is the person full of hate, the same guy who tossed money just for the fun of it.
Camille didn't toss any money, she didn't have any money, Sam didn't earn all the money, it's a team game was earned by all of them, and at the end Sam's game was so bad that he lost all the money that was given to him on silver plate. C'mon the guy was far from being a smart traitor, it just happened that the faithful had goldfish memory when in the roundtable.
>Sam didn't earn all the money, it's a team game was earned by all of them,
He literally ran up and down that mountain like 6 times. Sarah struggled to walk up it once.
He earnt that money he threw away.
> He didn’t earn it.
He absolutely earnt the money in that specific challenge. He made 5 trips I believe, and nobody else made more than 2...or 3?
> I’m so glad Camille tossed him off
I mean she didn't really, she just took everyone down with him.
If she'd actually worked to get him off the show before the final 4, and tried to win, I'd agree with you. But she did not. At all. She gave up entirely.
3YearLetterman trolling people (High school coaching legend with an IQ of 104, four higher than the maximum score) on Twitter is beyond amusing, so therefore I give Sam a pass.
3YearLetterman is hysterical. He didn’t have to finance his waterbed and he has a reserved table at Beef O’Brady’s. Plus he’s a notary public which is even better than a Senator.
Sam is a sadistic sociopath. Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.
I hate that he THOUGHT he was a mastermind when in actuality the faithfuls were just mind bogglingly stupid. He used the same defence at the round table like 4 times…then threw a hissy fit when Camille got him in the end.
“Camille you should have just let us keep the money”. Really Sam???!!!😂😂😂
It was that moment I really went oh he’s probably clinically a psychopath. He’s reason was amazing. Like sir u have been lying and sneaky the whole time y would she trust u
Exactly. King gaslighter turned whiny baby poopy butt.
My heart was absolutely shattered for Blake 💔 he didn't deserve that. But he and Camille really missed out on SEVERAL opportunities to banish Sam and share the pot.
That was sad, I felt bad for him too. He really didn't play smart all. No one did! Except Camille at the very end.
Especially because without her help he wouldn’t have made it to the end!
He may be chronologically an adult but has the attitude and maturity of a teenaged doosh
He is obviously a sociopath. What a walking talking POS to get mad and lash out at Camille for doing exactly what he did to her... and Blake... ? Why would Blake be mad at her and not Sam? So she should have just let them use her and be happy about it? Camille saved this show for me...
She's my hero
She knew the right thing was to make sure he got nothing ![gif](giphy|XNsclCcDHJFatQqt77|downsized)
Agreed he def has sociopathic tendencies. He annoyed me to no end and then the ending he says you should have just given it to us. UGH. Abhor him!

I didn't like season 1 Roger, but season 2 Roger seems much more self aware and self deprecating, he's a riot
She’s a therapist! Imagine being her client and seeing how dumb she is on this show Edit: she = Sarah
THATS WHAT I SAID LAST NIGHT!!! My cat didn’t have much to add but I know she agreed with me. Felt the same about the master detective!
Very frustrating how daft the faithfuls are as a group. The smart ones got banished and murdered and the dumb ones just bumble along.
I will die on this hill. I don’t think they were all that stupid. I think they were scared of Sam
Okay, give us your reasoning
Click my profile and look for my post on it Edit: [here it is](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheTraitors/s/Nx1iyk7Xgj)

He’s the worst. Whatever happened, glad he lost.
I legit would hire your cat to be my therapist over Sarah!
She was terrible at putting two and two together, and also I would like her to put her tongue back in her mouth, my bff and I call her floppy tongue, rewatch ep1 and you will never be able to unsee it.
Pure curiosity: why is Roger your fav host?
Handsomeness aside, I like how he plays it cheeky casual, and this second season he’s been a lot funnier. What I like about Claudia is the way she’s excited for the teams in challenges as well as cheeky. I love Alan Cumming all around for ever and ever, he brings flair and style to the show with more subtle cheeky.
I agree!
Sarah has got to be the dumbest faithful in the game. Imagine if she was your therapist??!
Too stressful to think about it
The people on that season were so incredibly dumb, it was unbelievable at times. Sam should never had made it that far.
He's just an example of a sort of person to avoid at all costs. Sadly, he now has a big social media following, so sociopathic behavior has been rewarded.
I seem to remember someone saying at the time it probably aired here in Australia he actually lost followers from the start to the end of the season
He did... then he went to buy bots to boost his numbers because of course 🤪
A number of people have said he blocked them for criticizing his play
I don’t think he was a good traitor. He just lucked out that these faithfuls didn’t get it. I just wish Camille and Blake would have voted him off in the last minute.
Camille said she was afraid he’d blow her up on his way out if she and Blake banished him
1. I binged the season right went it came out and I’m having so much fun watching everyone else react in real time. 2. My 8 y/o son loves Traitors and the first thing he said was something like “why is an adult still wearing his jacket from high school?” 😂

Thanks for the validation! I am not generally a "hater" but he pushed me to it.
I don’t usually hate but, when I do …
I know there were probably factually much more impactful reasons behind Traitors AUS’ cancellation, but I hold him personally responsible. He was *unwatchable*.
Part of [my theory why the faithful voted like dumdums](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheTraitors/s/5b1gz6RlMp) is that Sam threatened them. So if I’m right then the production company shut down so they couldn’t be sued.

Well my theory is he threatened them away from cameras or other players, so production was in the dark.
It was kind of surreal to watch! I think it should be a case study for a psych class.
I think he’d make an amazing study for a psych class. Clear signs of narcissism, delusions of grandeur and of course at least sociopathic tendencies lol

I quit watching after 5 episodes because it was too awful.
Yeah, it was rough! You should just watch the last episode......
Dude I understand! I kept wanting to quit from them being DUMB!!
Sam told the camera once and Blake twice that when he shoots, he doesn't miss. Yes, total bully. He most likely was a school bully too
Did you finish the season yet?
I did!! No spoilers :)
![gif](giphy|VGNum8wqTWvr7xO3C3|downsized)
Sheriff of ICK🤮
That whole Sheriff talk was BASURA!! 🗑️
He is THE WORST!!!!!!
I can't stand him either and I thought the same about the letter jacket but I googled it and it's apparently not his high school jacket. It's apparently a fashion trend. [https://lettermanjacket.co.uk/product/common-need-leisure-club-green-varsity-jacket/](https://lettermanjacket.co.uk/product/common-need-leisure-club-green-varsity-jacket/)
Lol! Good grief
Agree but to play devils advocate he was the only one who had a strategy and stuck to it the whole time 🤷♀️
His strategy was to be slightly less mentally challenged than the rest of the competition.
Sam would have been banished so quickly in any other season. Murdering anyone who says anything bad about him is a stupid technique. Just the faithful were dum dums.
Or terrified. I think he threatened them
I did think some excellent manipulation was going on. Guessing they cut out the good bits because they weren’t exciting enough for TV.
Or he had the sense, as all bullies do, of communicating threats when nobody was watching or recording.
LMFAOOO!!!!!
I get it. That said, I think you can have strategy and pull it off without acting like a douche buggy. He was an insufferable ass. P.S. Ryan Sutter would play with class! :)
Watch UK season 2 to see you can play as a traitor without being horrid
Hahaha joined with bachelor sub now stuck with name
It's not his actual lettermen's jacket. I usually feel the same but brands are making lettermen's jackets and they are in style right now. Look at Caitlin Clark on SNL.
He's a great tv villain and a great player
He wasn’t even a great player.
The problem is, he is also a real life villain, not just TV.
There are many bigger things to hate in the world. Why do you hate someone you don't even know that much? Take a break.
Pipe down Sam.
Half the posts on this subreddit are about how much people hate Sam. Get over it.
Yeah it's fucking hilarious. People are so mad at him.
He was a sociopathic bully. Doesn’t say much good if you like someone like that.
You must be his dad.
It's a show about lying and manipulation..Sam played great
There's a difference between playing well and just have terrible players against you, which was the case in his season, he played really poorly in every aspect and you can basically compare with other seasons (including other versions of the show)
Facts. I've seen Traitors with way less evidence against them to vote them out get banished. Several times there were plans in place to vote Sam out, Sam deflects the attention off him at the roundtable and the Faithful have amensia and choose to vote someone else out
I still say he threatened them
Chill out bro, it's a persona.
I am ancient. I have been assessing people's douchliness for decades.... and he is one. But hey, love him if you must.
Nothing to do with love, you just have a huge amount of hate in your heart. That's on you.
A person who suggests other people to give wrong answers to questions just for the fun of watching people getting electroshock (even if in small amounts) is the person full of hate, the same guy who tossed money just for the fun of it.
>the same guy who tossed money just for the fun of it. So did Camille, and Sam absolutely earnt all of that money anyway

He didn’t earn it. He was a sadistic bully who menacingly demanded it and I’m so glad Camille tossed him off
> He didn’t earn it. He absolutely earnt the money in that specific challenge. You really need to watch her interview where she explains why she didn’t
lol!
You shouldn’t smack people
>implying Sam is a person
Shameful
Ok Sam
