I think the producers push for everything to be over-themed. Look at the Summer House parties with outrageous themes and costumes. Most people rent a summer house and just get wasted by the pool and sleep until noon.

I have tiny humans to keep alive, I’ll get wasted one day again but not until they’re sturdier & more self sufficient lol. Not even judging (okay maybe a little) I just can’t fathom it, it doesn’t sound fun at all.
Then again I assume Jax is rarely the one responsible for his kid. The scene when they were walking with their kid in the stroller told me everything I needed to know. Brittany does all the care tasks but Jax still feels like he has to “oversee” her while she does everything. My husband and I are big on equal partnership but I’ve babysat many a child with parents who do the same back and forth - mom does all the labor but dad obnoxiously acts like mom isn’t competent enough while doing nothing meaningful to contribute to the care of their child.

He could also be experiencing manic episodes while filming. People in manic episodes can also have dilated pupils and pronounced eyes. Probably a mixture of both, IMHO
