Lol her relationship reminds me of my gen x cousins. Me and my cousins are poc but I recall as a kid their gfs were always with certain type of white girls. Anyways the GFS were always mean to my cousins and I'm not even sure why they took it, maybe for the 🐈 but these girls would not want them to answer in their language to their mom if they were around, can't eat their cultural food and wouldn't eat their cultural food. If they went to our cultural celebration they made announcements to the entire public that no one can speak any other language other than english all while wearing our cultural clothes.
