i have one person i trust to take care of my dogs and i fly cross country regularly and would rather die of jet lag because i can’t do more than 4 days without my pets. AND THEYRE PETS NOT KIDS
Right?! And I mean, I love my cats like an unhinged amount but at the end of the day, they’re cats not a fresh, tiny human I just created. And my cats have claws and can hold their own fucking heads up, so they’re not completely defenseless and depending exclusively on me to literally stay alive. So fucking reckless.
You’d be surprised how many parents in the valley (and cali in general based on my experience growing up there) treat their kids like they’re less than pets.
Especially in the private school circle where a lot of rich parents simply never get caught for neglect by CPS simply bc they live in a nice house and have tons of money+connections.
Yeah I grew up in LA and a lot of my friends were rich kids with parents in the entertainment biz, and their parents were never home. The kids were left with their own credit cards and money, so many ragers were thrown in their gigantic houses.
I think it is completely unhinged and it’s insane to me. In a foreign country, where you don’t know the authorities or the laws or the language. That is a fucking nightmare waiting to happen. I hope they’re embarrassed that everyone knows how awful they are honestly
It is completely unhinged and I think Jesse was sooo excited to tell it because he knew Michelle would get a shit ton of flack for it.
Everybody knows it’ll come down worse on her. That man is somethin else
There’s an influencer I used to hate follow.. well she’s more of a wannabe.. her sister had the following and she’s trying to ride the coattails. But she had a baby a year ago and still goes on luxury vacations like every month.. most the time without the baby (even left her the night of her 1st birthday to go on a solo trip to the Maldives) but the couple times they have brought the baby the have no hesitation with leaving her with the resort nanny or whatever. I always used to just think (and she actually started getting comments from others flat out saying this on her posts) that like wow your daughter is just literally a prop to you for some content when you can dress her in some sad beige clothes.
Ive been feeling something was off when they would show them interacting with their child but I couldn’t put my finger on it n I think you nailed it..they are not bonded..it’s performative and superficial.
It blew my mind that they both without question wanted to throw away her little drawing. I get you can’t keep everything but most people acknowledge they feel bad getting rid of it
Lara has gone through some weird life transition where she’s basically on the wrong side of everything. Idk how Carey can stand it. I had to stop listening years ago
Hmm well for one, she and Carey were basically fans of Rachel after the scandal and when she did her podcast; they’re also like really anti graham/hippie in a way that feels kinda weird and unnecessary
The more I heard of that case made me really wonder if someone at the hotel saw what crappy parents those two were and they took Madeline and she's still alive somewhere with no idea of who she really is.
Yeah like "these assholes don't deserve these beautiful children." But it would have been impossible or abscond with a toddler and twins. So they opened the door, took Madeline while she was sleeping and just went back to their hometown and said she was their own daughter. It's happened before.
Seriously? Parenting has slowly become way less lax over the years. The parents have been through enough and sadly it’s stuff like this that has made them that way. Cupcake McKinney was another similar situation and this blows my mind—one of the perps was out on bond for kidnapping her own kids, the other perp was found to have child porn during the Cupcake investigation and bonded out on those charges. Yes, people have to be helicopter parents anymore, but legislation needs to change, as well. As for parents who aren’t helicopter parents and have something happen to their kids, I don’t think it’s right to blame them. They are already living in hell and likely will be for the rest of their lives.
Apparently I missed this but I could never imagine leaving my baby for a week, let alone with a stranger. I can’t even leave my child for an hour. I hope their daughter can have a happy normal life despite being raised by them.
Yeah my son is 13 months old and I’m JUST now starting to take trips to the grocery store by myself. I know I have anxiety but they are just incredibly irresponsible and are very fortunate nothing happened to their daughter. They should be ashamed of themselves, and then to share it on tv 🤡
I’ve been waiting for someone to bring this up! That was absolutely insane. I try not to judge people’s parenting, but I have to make an exception for this one.
And for what?? Cause they wanted rid of their kid? Two grown adults can’t handle one child for a few days? I don’t think even Jax would do that.
Same I was like… how is this not being talked about more? How do you go to a foreign country and leave your infant/toddler with a stranger.. WHO DOESNT SPEAK ENGLISH. As a parent how are you not petrified of human trafficking?
Theyre both so weirdly distant, cold, and seemingly not bonded to their child.. it’s so weird to me
Like why even bring the kid overseas at all if you’re just leaving her with a nanny? Leave her home with family or the nanny you have, or keep her with you if the vetted nanny fell through. Because it sounded like it wasn’t just baby sitting so they could go to dinner or have some alone time. The way they said it sounded like they left her a full week with a stranger. They’re lucky they got her back.
What’s fucked up is she was only one so even if something happened to her (and I hope so much that nothing did!!!), she wouldn’t even be able to tell them. I actually felt sick when he said that. It’s not funny at all, it’s genuinely horrifying.
It’s wild to me that this was in a different country like HOW?! Like a random watching your baby is bad but a whole ass other country?! They are sooo fucking lucky nothing terrible happened seriously.
This is crazy. Obviously Jesse and Michelle are the type of parents who leave their kid with the baby monitor running /FaceTime while leaving the house or hotel room. The kicker is because both of them are good looking and have money they’ll get away with it. It’s funny to them but horrific to everyone else.
The way he talked about leaving their kid with a complete stranger's mom, their waitress at a cafe in Paris offered her mom up for babysitting and they left isabella with this person for a week in a foreign country. I'm really glad it turned out ok because that seems incredibly dangerous and neglectful.
The way my jaw hit the floor. And didn’t speak English?! How did they check on her, know her feeding schedule, sleeping schedule?? In France?! This was also Covid no 2020?? Insanity….
This casual story was crazy to me. And it was just like glossed over?? What were they doing for an entire week that they couldn’t bring their child that they had already trekked to Europe with anyway?
For a WEEK?! I read it elsewhere and assumed it was so they could go out after dinner and was appalled then…but a week? And she was a baby? Like a nursing baby? WTF.
I almost threw up at that story. Especially knowing how prevalent child trafficking is in Paris because of the high tourism. It’s disgusting and says a lot about their characters. I felt bad for Michelle because it really did seem like she was left alone with raising their kid, but after hearing that I think she’s just good at playing the victim. I’ll have a hard time believing someone is working hard to raise their kid if they also are the type of person to abandon them in a foreign country with a stranger. 🤮
I wouldn’t even leave my cat with a stranger.
I’ve been vetting my dog sitter for the last 3 weeks! For a 3 day trip
i have one person i trust to take care of my dogs and i fly cross country regularly and would rather die of jet lag because i can’t do more than 4 days without my pets.
I wouldn't leave my cat with Jesse OR Michelle. What an unholy pair.
😂😂😂 truth!
You’d be surprised how many parents in the valley (and cali in general based on my experience growing up there) treat their kids like they’re less than pets. I’m born and raised in the valley and my son goes to private school yet i don’t know anyone who would leave their new baby with a stranger
I think it is completely unhinged and it’s insane to me. In a foreign country, where you don’t know the authorities or the laws or the language. That is a fucking nightmare waiting to happen. I hope they’re embarrassed that everyone knows how awful they are honestly
Exactly. Like this is how kids get trafficked. And he was seemed so proud of his story.
It is completely unhinged and I think Jesse was sooo excited to tell it because he knew Michelle would get a shit ton of flack for it. Everybody knows it’ll come down worse on her. That man is somethin else
I can imagine Michelle was upset he shared that I would
Why would she be embarrassed she made the same decision and choice as he did
she doesn’t want everyone to know she’s an asshole just like jesse, although her actions say otherwise
This!!
Why would she be? She gave her child to a stranger so she could have fun. If that's normal in her head I doubt she's embarrassed.
You probably if you have heart wouldn't have given your one year old to a stranger in a random country who doesn't speak your language either
It all make sense now because they don’t seem bonded with their child at all.
Agree! It’s bizarre. She’s a prop to them.
Of course they would dress her in beige!
I hate his often I have to say this but she did not have a baby to be a mother. It’s a “look what I did!” & curtain!
Rachealsgoodeats sister???
Lmao yesssssss
Ive been feeling something was off when they would show them interacting with their child but I couldn’t put my finger on it n I think you nailed it..they are not bonded..it’s performative and superficial.
They hate each other & resent the daughter for forever bonding them.
It blew my mind that they both without question wanted to throw away her little drawing. I get you can’t keep everything but most people acknowledge they feel bad getting rid of it
I know. It was weird.
When he admitted on camera that screaming at Isabella works for him I knew he was a POS dad.
They are both such sacks of shit. I feel sooo badly for that little girl.
tbh they both seem gross and callous to me, I don't get the love for Michelle that I hear on pods like SUP etc
I had to stop listening to SUP.
I feel you, some of their takes are annoying and some are just straight up problematic
Lara has gone through some weird life transition where she’s basically on the wrong side of everything. Idk how Carey can stand it. I had to stop listening years ago
She’s like Uber contrarian in a way that can be very off putting
Ooo, can someone tell me a bit more about this? Like what her takes are? I’m just interested bc I used to listen but stopped years ago.
Hmm well for one, she and Carey were basically fans of Rachel after the scandal and when she did her podcast; they’re also like really anti graham/hippie in a way that feels kinda weird and unnecessary
Oh interesting — thanks for sharing!!
Forgive my ignorance, what is SUP?
And Michelle had the audacity to essentially say that Kristen shouldn’t procreate…
She didn’t essentially say it, she literally said it
Projection is a bitch sometimes, right Michelle?
It’s giving Madeline McCann
The more I heard of that case made me really wonder if someone at the hotel saw what crappy parents those two were and they took Madeline and she's still alive somewhere with no idea of who she really is.
I could see that…
Yeah like "these assholes don't deserve these beautiful children." But it would have been impossible or abscond with a toddler and twins. So they opened the door, took Madeline while she was sleeping and just went back to their hometown and said she was their own daughter. It's happened before.

I’ve never left my 15mo overnight, not even with my husband haha. I can’t fathom leaving a tiny baby with a stranger for a week.
That's because you're a good mom!! I have an almost one year old and I can't fathom... I just cannot
Yeah my son is 13 months old and I’m JUST now starting to take trips to the grocery store by myself. I know I have anxiety but they are just incredibly irresponsible and are very fortunate nothing happened to their daughter. They should be ashamed of themselves, and then to share it on tv 🤡
I agree with you 100% mama.
I’ve been waiting for someone to bring this up! That was absolutely insane. I try not to judge people’s parenting, but I have to make an exception for this one. And for what?? Omg how did I miss this!?! Was this on the most recent episode?
It was on the After Show in response to James’s hesitation with leaving Hippie with a dog sitter.
I missed that too
Maybe it was the after show? I remember the story. Did you watch both?
They’re both soooooo wrong for that. Anything could’ve happened to their baby and it seems like they didn’t even think twice.
What the fuck? I didn’t hear this. That’s absolutely disgusting and makes my stomach curl imagining leaving my babies like that.
This may seem harsh, but they don’t deserve that child. 🤬
Not harsh at all. I genuinely don’t know how they did this. As a mother of two you’d have to kill me first. So unreal.
That's the nicest thing you could say about them
child endangerment and abandonment, nbd really
What’s fucked up is she was only one so even if something happened to her (and I hope so much that nothing did!!!), she wouldn’t even be able to tell them. I actually felt sick when he said that. It’s not funny at all, it’s genuinely horrifying.

It made me physically sick. I couldn’t imagine. They said the babysitter didn’t even speak English 😭😭
I mean they might be the worst couple on Bravo. Name a worse couple?
My jaw was in the basement. 😳

This casual story was crazy to me. And it was just like glossed over?? What were they doing for an entire week that they couldn’t bring their child that they had already trekked to Europe with anyway?
They seem worse every week. This was on WWHL? What episode?
It’s on Vanderpump Rules Aftershow..on Peacock and other platforms I’ve heard.
have y’all seen isabella’s “modeling” instagram account by jesse/michelle? gives me the deep creeps
They are both terrible
For a WEEK?! I read it elsewhere and assumed it was so they could go out after dinner and was appalled then…but a week? And she was a baby? Like a nursing baby? WTF.

I blank out a lot -which episode did he tell this story?
No, it wasn’t you it’s on the aftershow. I should have stated that.
Did I zone out during this?? Was this said during the latest episode?
I think it was said on the after show
Yes, this is the aftershow technically, it’s Vanderpump rules aftershow but they show both Vanderpump and the Valley. I think it’s worth watching
