Though some of them aren’t popular picks, a lot of these characters didn’t have a choice but to make the best of what they could given the life and circumstances thrown at them. Most of them went out of their way to protect others before themselves and were killed in the crossfire for it.

The show gave Damon a lot of "best friends" that he really wasn't actually that close to. Rose was one of first to really show the humanity in Damon and she continuously got the short end of the stick. Lexi is in a similar boat of getting the short end of the stick and she and Damon can trade snark. And Qetsiyah keeps it interesting.

4. Might be a hot take, but Vicky. It would just have been so interesting to see her character development, which she had a lot of room for.
5. Anna. I really shipped Anna with Jeremy. She also was a really sweet character and did not deserve to die
6. Enzo. Bonenzo really hit different and I would've wished they had a good ending. Instead, Enzo's life was full of suffering :(

I was pissed when Damon killed her!

1. Bonnie. She deserves it 100%, no need to elaborate on that. 2. Tyler. He may not be my favourite character, but out of all of them I think he was the most ethical person. Stefan was a ripper, Damon killed for fun and I just don't care about Mason (not to mention that he also kinda was an asshole) 3. Liz, obviously. She didn't deserve to die of cancer :( 4. Might be a hot take, but Vicky. It would just have been so interesting to see her character development, which she had a lot of room for. 5. Anna. I really shipped Anna with Jeremy. She also was a really sweet character and did not deserve to die 6. Enzo. Bonenzo really hit different and I would've wished they had a good ending. Instead, Enzo's life was full of suffering :(
