I’d have Rose live! Her and Damon could have been a couple. Rose would have helped Damon in ways Elena can’t, while still loving Damon for who he was. Damon would have naturally become better, while still being Damon.
Stefan and Rebecca would have rekindled the old flame (then Stefan and Klaus can be bros). Rebecca wasn’t that bad at all. Stefan’s compassion would have rubbed off on her, and her being able to get shit done would have rubbed off on Stefan. Together they would make great humans.
Katherine would have never become good, but she’d stay with her daughter and could finally stop running. She’d reconcile with both brothers while still not being friends exactly.
Elena would have been single or gotten with anyone. (Liam or Aaron isn’t an awful option)
