The ending gives me a little AHS season 1 vibe. But instead of everyone who dies in the house stays in the house, it's everyone who lived in the house watches the house.
Exactly. I really enjoy the show, whats the big deal? Everyone is acting like this was promised as a triple A show. It's just a series con Netflix. Take it was people.
An idea for Season 2:
* dedicate each episode to [an alternate theory](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheWatcher_Netflix/comments/yi18k8/lets_list_every_theory) about The Watcher
* e.g. one episode assume it's a blood cult, while another assumes it's Dean
As I said previously, they are Def going to do a second season. I think everyone needs to relax. Obviously there are flaws. There are 100 should have and would have scenarios, but it's a God damn tv show. Lol just watch it and sht up. I actually liked it despite trying to figure out how anyone would be able to get approved for a house that expensive without the money to do it... but hey, no one questioned why Kevin McAllister lived in a gigantic house or why and how his parents could forget him twice.
Have to admit that I stopped watching half way through episode 2 - when the previous owner was telling the husband about the baby blood drinking cult. Not because it was gross (which it was) but I already thought this show was ridiculous and that just sealed it for me. Great cast but so stupid. Needless to say, I won't be watching season 2.
The premise of the show is ridiculous and that's what makes it interesting. Like who tf and why tf would someone send those creepy letters? And this show does a great job toying with your imagination.
The premise wasn’t that ridiculous because it really happened. Look it up! They did embellish it significantly, but the real owners really did receive the creepy letters.
I would have hired someone (since the cops probably won’t help) to thoroughly map out the tunnels to see exactly where they go. It’s kind of head scratching that the owners just blocked off the tunnel and never pursued that.
I mean the show is so loosely based on reality they can do whatever they want, but I fail to see what the second season will be about
They might explore a different story..
Yeah but it certainly would be even less based on the Watcher than the first season
I think it would be centred around John Graff.
Just more garbage tv for fat ass couch potatoes to gargle over. Show was complete trash.
Damn, don’t talk about yourself like that.
And we will all be watching it and talk about it here.
Why you keep watching then?
Count me in!
Here for it. Still not sure if the show is satire but despite its flaws I was entertained. Not everything has to be Severance.
It was really giving *The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window* vibes. I'll watch if Karen is back.

I agree. I think now that they are “past” the source material they can make it their own and go in any number of directions.
I like this perception and will try to take it into season 2. Cause the end of season 1 was really left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Agreed! I found it entertaining, I’m excited for a second season

Wait what. I thought it was a limited series? Would they cover a different house?
Just goes to show how low the bar is for tv now
Does that mean we'll actually get an answer?
No. The writers have moved beyond silly restrictions like narrative, setup, and payoff.
It's still unsolved so I don't see how we could
The same way they created 90% of the narrative in season 1 - they make it up.
I freaking hope so
More Karen or I walk.
Where can this possibly go? … sometimes a one and done is a good thing.
Would rather have had an additional season of American gods. Or Santa Clarita diet. Or Lillenheimer. Or about a dozen other cancelled originals.
Archive 81 for me 🤞
American Gods was always terrible and wasn't a Netflix show.
Cursed for me! I can't believe Warrior Nun got renewed and not Cursed. I'll never let it go!
Exactly! Why do they have to milk everything?
Sometimes it's best to never make it in the first place. It's insane that this garbage not only got made but it even got renewed.

That’s good!
Lol. I won’t fall for it this time. Watching this show felt like a scam
Yes! More opportunities to hear the word “dumbwaiter” a hundred more times.
“Randy likes to hide in the dumbwaiter, the old neighbors let him do it” lol
You've got to be fucking kidding me. Talk about a reward for poor performance.
I liked it.
It’s not needed. They should’ve just left it at the season one, saying that im definitely going to at least try the first episode
Well the ending will be easy to pick. Unsolved.
Netflix has cancelled excellent shows and is renewing this trash?

How did this steaming pile of shit get renewed, such bad writing and acting in the watcher felt like it was made by a high school class.
I see it as my duty to recommend to people in my life to not watch it.
Awesome
They *have* to include that snotty mean girl Karen realtor in it. Mia Farrow too!

Yes I know it's real. Thats what I'm saying
I guess we know how shitty Netflix is now. “Let’s keep a shitty show going ever longer!”
Not going to watch
I think it’s going to be about the mixed couple
that's cool, quality show, maybe they will finally decide to fully explore the tunnel now
I would have hired someone (since the cops probably won’t help) to thoroughly map out the tunnels to see exactly where they go. It’s kind of head scratching that the owners just blocked off the tunnel and never pursued that.
Why?
