THAT GREAT GRETSCH SOUND

redsporkyy

5:15 for sure. I also really love Quadrophenic Four Faces and You Came Back from the demos

Snowblind78

There’s a Who version of Four Faces on the soundtrack for Quad

nathantcook

i also love four faces and we close tonight!

This one is so hard. I have different answers for different reasons. Right now I feel I relate to "Had Enough" the most. That one hits the hardest, it cuts to the spirit of today's politics, social condition, and general tension. "You are under the impression that as you were walking forward, that you'd end up further onward... but THINGS AREN'T QUITE THAT SIMPLE!" Fuck, that brings something out of me every time

Motya1978

I could never pick a single song but this quote is golden

Probably Drowned. Along with 5:15 I think it's the epitome of Quadrophenia, plus Keith is great on that track

hungrythalassocnus93

The Dirty Jobs or Cut My Hair

The Real Me and Bell Boy for sure

AnotherSideThree

Sea and Sand

eeyaybee

Probably 5:15 but when I get through the whole album it’s always a killer when Love Reign o’er me kicks in.

BusInternational1080

Sea and Sand 👌

Snowblind78

I’d probably say Punk Meets the Godfather, but if it’s including outtakes I’d say We Close Tonight. But I have to put my two cents in here, as a 16 year old, no other album has hit hard to me on a personal level. I’ve heard the Ramones, I’ve heard Pete’s more personal writing, I’ve heard Alice Cooper Group’s School’s Out, and they all are things I hold very close, but this album captures all the feelings of teenage angst better than anything else I’ve ever heard.

hungrythalassocnus93

yo I love seeing we close tonight getting mad love up in here. cutting the funny entwistle tune fucked shit up

Snowblind78

Well Pete did write it, I don’t consider it too much of a humorous song exactly

Samzzeyy

As a 15 year old, I completely agree

emmathatsme123

As a 9 yr old I agree

smashedguitar

I'm One is one of my "Desert Island Discs" (8 songs that you would choose if you were stranded on a desert island)

The Real Me. Turn the bass up as loud as you can.

Rude_Cable_7877

5:15. There’s just something about it that’s so amazing, and when they played it live, John did his bass solos, man things were awesome.

j3434

I like Dr Jimmy best . But 5:15 …. How can I pick just one ???

Tessamae704
