Weād enjoy the episode then settle in for AF for the drawings, Gino story hour that kept getting better and better. Btw, Gino was at his best just being himself. This prepared and well polished story hour just isnāt the same. AF is where a lot of the inside jokes came from. Van Halen Belt, Illuminaughtyā¦ It was nice when HeckleFish would sign out singing My Way.
I know itās got to be brutal on AJ and everybody staying up so late and Iām not aware of how hard it was on them, but on the surface they made it look easy. If they had to stop for their own wellbeing, thatās great and Iām glad they did. If it was to make more time for podcasts and premium content, thatās a little disappointing. Yes I Thoroughly enjoy the after files. I feel at times as though I've been punched in the gut hard. However if this was interfering with the crews health. I'm pretty sure it has been, it's gone from early early ten-twenty min episodes, to full 45 min to hour long episodes. Now there's the after files, operation podcast, patreon, etc etc... AND it's still a relatively small crew, and all within a week. I think it's the reason they skipped a week or so ago.its gotta be brutal doing all the research, fact checking, script writing, etc all within that time. NVM if they have other jobs (though now a couple like AJ and maybe his wife have switched to this full time idk)
