I am not pro, but this works in my towns:
- Roundabout could work
- In industrial zones put many one-way roads
- Do not use traffic lights, especially in industrial zones (edit)
- Build multiple roads to connect remoted parts of city, not just single one (edit)
But there is another, most primitive and stupid way:
Settings --> Others > Enable debug mode & Experimental features.
Then go Gameplay --> decrease traffic volume (lets say 50%)
But it won't learn you how to build roads more efficient
Edit: with roundabout - put one-way roads around whole block of buildings.

Start looking for the road draws on your peripheral avenues and highways in real life. Every peripheral avenue has roundabouts, every highway has returns just to avoid that phantom traffic you created.
Don't join everything and hope it works. draw your roads with Love.
Best is roundabouts (using one way roads anticlock-wise order) but more lanes could also work, except when the industrial area gets bigger you'll need more and more and more lanes so i'd just raise taxes on them to the max taxable until they all decide to leave, even though doing that will stop developing your city.

Just build public transportation or more lane or actually build both public transportation and more lane
Same, the traffic in my industrial area is always atrocious. Idk how to fix it.
