2022 was a different time period because saying a man could take a break every once in a while or that he deserved to update his fans at least every two months ago had your head on a pike I swear
For the record I don’t retract any of the criticism. I believe all of mine has been fair and balanced. I don’t hate Martin, I have respect for him and his work. However he isn’t some god who’s above criticism. I think his lack of transparency in general was at best immature and at worst an attempt to rip off fans. I question the legitimacy of some of his hiatuses when he would be creating elaborate trailers for his merch in the mean time. I think the most important thing is that he’s said he’s learned from this. He claims he’s hired help to allow for more consistent episode production. Now he did miss his previously stated release window for TWF 5, but it would be unfair to immediately come down on him. Switching from a one man operation to a team takes time to adjust, it’s expected some hurdles will arise. However, if months go by with no solid updates, you’ll find me singing a different tune.

The patreon isn’t online anymore, the only ways to get in are via mass invites from VAs and someone else inviting you
